Niara: Hi people! Wow, I have reviews…this is kinda cool. Anyway…this is some information that I figured you guys might want to know about this little AU world:
Northern Lands: Raizen and Atsuko are the Lord and Lady of the Northern Lands and Yusuke is their heir. Atsuko is a human, making Yusuke a hanyou that happens to be a Mazoku.
Southern Lands: Mukuro rules the Southern Lands and Hiei and Yukina live in the lands as her adopted heirs. Mukuro left Yomi in charge of her lands while she's running around trying to put an end to Kikyo.
Eastern Lands: Was under the control of the Inarius Clan until Kikyo took them over. The Inarius are a clan of silver fox demons and that happens to be Youko's family name in this story.
Western Lands: Under the control of the Inu Brothers: Sesshomaru and Inuyasha. Sesshomaru rules the lands while Inuyasha deals with invaders.
Central Lands: Under Kikyo's control. In a state of current turmoil at the moment.
Kuronue is in this, but he won't show up for a while.
That's about all.
By the way, could some either give a really detailed description of Mukuro, Yomi, Enki, and Raizen, or just send me a picture of each one?

Chapter 5:
`Well, well, well,' the silver kitsune thought, his lips twisting into a smirk. `I wasn't expecting her to be here.'
`Oh, do shut up,' the human half of the entity, Kurama sniped back, his words lacking their normal acidity. Meeting the startled twilight gaze of the young priestess before him, Kurama could hardly formulate a coherent thought. Finally, he drew a breath and let his charming smile fall into place. “I'm glad to see that you made it here safely, Lady Kagome, but why would you need to speak with King Raizen?”
Kagome ducked her head, a light blush staining her cheeks, her grip on her necklace tightening. “Father gave me a message for him. I need to get there as soon as possible.”
Kurama turned back to Kaede, letting his emerald eyes turn gold as Youko rose to the surface of his mind. “I take it you know the message.”
“Aye, I do,” she replied as she turned away from him, her one good eye glittering in amusement. “But I won't be telling ye what she must do. Will ye take her?”
`And miss this chance? Is she joking?' Youko growled at Kurama, tail twitching in agitation.
`Hiei and Kuronue won't be happy about this. We're supposed to meet with them and Sesshomaru in less than a week,' Kurama countered, wary of the old fox in his head.
`Send them a letter,' the fox hissed back, forcefully taking control of their body. `This is more important.'
The red-head smiled at the young priestess. “I would be honored to escort her to Raizen. Would you allow me to, Lady Kagome?”
Kagome smiled and rose, something tingling at the back of her mind, something she was determined to ignore while in the town. “I greatly appreciate this, Shuichi. I'll try to not inconvenience you terribly.”
A deep chuckle, a kind of half purr, was her answer as he met her gaze, his eyes flashing gold. “I promise, you shall not. I have business there that I need to attend to anyway.”
`Since when?' Kurama sniped, annoyed at being shoved aside by the demon. Youko chuckled, a smirk crossing his “lips.”
`Since the meeting was moved there,' he replied. Kurama could only sigh, far too used to this. One of these days, Youko's crazy tendencies were going to get him killed. Again.

A deep rumble echoed through the cave, startling the two women hidden inside of it form their light slumber. The elder of the two, the scarred Demon Lord Mukuro, frowned as she turned her gaze to the mouth of the cave where Hiei stood guard. There were very few things that could draw that kind of a rise out of the Forbidden Child and the two main ones were in the Western Lands. `So what had happened?' she wondered.
Hiei was not in a very good mood at the moment, as his surprisingly deep loud growls could attest to. His companion, a figure garbed in dark brown and black rags, was not in a much better frame of mind, his normally mischievous eyes almost bleeding red in annoyance. The much shorter demon finally ceased his growling and turned to cursing, his choice of word ranging for acidic to downright lethal. “Where is the damn fox so I can wring his neck?”
The other shrugged, his pale skin looking almost silver in the moonlight. “I don't know, but I would guess at the border of the Eastern and Northern Realms, at the moment. I don't think he'll be there tomorrow, though. He did say he was heading towards Raizen's before he would be able to meet up with us.”
A stream of vehement curses was Hiei's response before he finally calmed down and began to think, a frown crossing his face, brow crinkling under the warded bandage across his forehead. “Why to Raizen's? He hates dealing with the old battle demon.”
“But he is rather affectionate of Yusuke,” his companion reminded, eyes lighting up with the thought of getting under his little ally's skin. Hiei growled at him, his crimson eyes betraying just how much he wanted to hurt him at the moment.
“Be glad you are several hundred miles away from me, Bat,” he whispered, his voice colder than Death's. “I have a strange desire to rip your heart out for whatever you're trying to do at the moment.”
The bat demon, for that was what he was, laughed, stretching his wings out behind him, the stars shining through them to create a peculiar effect. “Oh, I am, Hiei. I am very glad that you are the one who's going to save me several weeks worth of trouble and find our companion. Bye, now!”
With a disgustingly cheery laughed, the demon's shadow faded away, leaving Hiei alone on the rocky edge of the cliff. Huffing, Hiei crossed his arms over his chest and glared at the red-orange line that just barely registered on the horizon. There was one thing that the bat had been right about, he would admit.
As his sister and Mukuro existed the cave, both of them throwing him a questioning look, he growled, the eye under the wards across his forehead coming alert at the annoyance in its master's mind. “I need to go,” he growled, knowing that Mukuro was listening. “The bat just paid me a visit and let me know that Youko's making plans that deviate from the original course. I'm going to find out why.”
He didn't even look back to see Mukuro's nod, his form blurring as leapt off the cliff, the after-image catching up a few seconds later.
Yukina frowned as she watched her brother leave, her eyes, so like his, hard. So, her mother had been right. The prophecy was beginning to fall into place. Soon, the hunt would begin.
*******
Large snowflakes circled the slim figure of the demoness as she watched the soldiers march into the tiny city, her demon eyes picking out the light of the torches from where she stood on the mountain, her long hair blowing around her wildly. Clutching the hem of the ice demon's kimono, the tiny child beside her watched with wide eyes. This child was not a demon, but human, the daughter of the village chief.
Behind them, a young woman who looked almost exactly like the Ice Maiden stood clutching a tiny bundle in her arms, a frown marring her beautiful face. “Why, Mother?”
The Maiden turned to her only daughter, dragging the little girl with her. “Because Kikyo lusts for power. Because the one who has the power to stop her is still nothing more than a babe. Because this is what was decreed.”
Yukina's frown transformed into a scowl, her crimson eyes blazing. “That wasn't what I meant, Mother. Why did you give birth to another child. Were Hiei and I not enough of a curse upon this world, you just had to bring another into it?”
Lady Yuki, a demon as frigid as the snows she had been born from, sighed, picking up the little girl beside her as she began to walk away from the destruction of her home. “That child will become your salvation, Yukina. He carries none of my traits and all of his father's. His son will become the child of the next Lady of the Central Lands and you and Hiei will train him to fight and heal. Hiei will leave you with Mukuro to find Youko Kurama and will discover that the fox will have been given the task of guarding all our fates. He will aid Youko and the one he will protect and you will all stand as witnesses to the rise and downfall of the koromiko and the hikarimiko.”
“The hikarimiko?” Yukina asked, startled, as she followed her mother through the snow, neither woman really noticing the icy weather. “What are you babbling about now?”
“Both of Han and Kun-Loon's daughter shall sit the throne of the Central Lands, but only one of them will survive the encounter with each other.” Yukina stared at her mother's back as they walked, unsure just what her mother was thinking about now. Glancing down at the fire fox sleeping in her arms, she wasn't really sure she wanted to know.

Niara: yea, done. By the way, this is just sort of going together as I write it, so don't ask me where all the junk with the mother came from, cause I'm not too sure.
Thank you for reading and have a happy new year, even if it is January 2.
