Last Time:

"Okay, let's head towards Kaede's hut." Kagome said in a cheerful tone. They all

nodded and left a twitching Inuyasha behind.

This Time:

Kagome had introduced the three detectives and were resting there for the night.

Inuyasha still had not come, and Kagome wondered why.

"Sango, what do you think is taking Inuyasha so long?" Kagome asked staring up

at the ceiling of the hut. Sango began to think. She had not notice her inu hanyou

companion was gone for that long.

She shrugged and said, "I have no clue, Kagome-chan, but just wait for him for a

while." With that said, Sango leaned against the hut's wall and shut her eyes still on her

guard though. Kurama and Yusuke were at the other side of the hut having this

conversation, while Hiei was outside lying on a tree branch.

"Do you think Kuwabara told Koenma, Kurama?" (A/n: Sheesh, too much

people that has their name start with a K. For an example, Keiko, Kouga, Kirara, and

Kagome are one. I mean I do not exactly mind people's names starting with a K but it's

too much even though my name starts with a K.) Yusuke asked. Kurama pondered about

that.

"Hopefully, he did, Yusuke." Kurama said. He made a quick glance towards

where Kagome was lying. He noticed that she was sleeping in her sleeping bag with the

kitsune, Shippou, cuddled up to her.

Shippou noticed Kurama staring at him, also Yusuke. He stuck out his tongue at

both of them and began to cuddle against Kagome more. Kurama and Yusuke looked at

each other. Both their eyes widened a bit, and Yusuke's mouth slightly opened.

//Damn! That kit really likes to make us feel jealous of him!// Youko mentally

yelled. Kurama mentally nodded at that.

//Plus, the stupid detective was looking at her!//

`Hm… so it seems.'

//You better not lose her, Kurama! If you do, I will make sure you will get tortured

in some way!// Kurama just ignored his threat and narrowed his eyes at Yusuke, who was

looking at `his' Kagome. After a few minutes, they both went to sleep.

~Next*Day~

"Hey, Kurama, wake up. Kurama, wake up. Wake up!" Yusuke yelled in his face.

Kurama was sweating a lot, and Yusuke was concerned with his friend's health. Kurama

woke up. He was slightly breathing hard and could not help, but think of that

"wonderful" yet intense dream.

"Kurama, daijobou desu ka?" Yusuke asked. Kurama nodded. He looked around

to see everyone else asleep.

"Yusuke, why did you wake me up so early?" Yusuke used one hand to rub the

back of his head.

"Well, I wanted to ask you if there is anything to eat. I did not want to wake

Kagome, so I woke you up." Kurama shook his head. Yusuke could not help but feel

disappointed. He was starving for goodness sake. He had not eaten anything in two days!

"Why don't we go outside to get some fresh air, Yusuke? Also, let us check up on

Hiei." Yusuke nodded. They both left the hut and went towards the tree Hiei lied on.

Hiei was staring off into space. Kagome was in his mind, and he had this craving

for her. He counted how many times he could have taken her without anybody noticing it,

which was about thirty times. He was grateful that he had control over himself right now.

Kurama and Yusuke finally approached the tree Hiei laid. He was still thinking about

Kagome and did not hear Yusuke or Kurama say anything to him.

"Hello? Hiei, are you there? Hello?" Yusuke asked slightly agitated. The

koorime never acted like this before but why now. "Hiei, you better say something now,

before I make your grave!" Yusuke could have sworn Hiei was startled. He shook his

head thinking it was just his imagination.

"What, detective?" Hiei asked with anger laced through his voice. He had broke

his train of thoughts about… Kagome.

"Man, Hiei, you shouldn't get so angry. Besides, I thought you were dead, so I

was gonna go up there and drag your body down and bury you in your grave with this

nice tombstone saying, `Here lies Hiei the forbidden child, brother of Yukina, a great ally

and friend, and the shortest of our group.'" Yusuke's words did not exactly amuse Hiei

one bit.

Hiei punched him on the stomach but not too hard. It made Yusuke slide back a

bit though. "Dammit, Hiei! You didn't have to do that you know! I was only joking!"

Yusuke yelled at Hiei's face, while clutching his stomach a bit in pain.

"Shut up, detective. I'm in no mood to talk to you." Hiei said. He jumped back

in his tree. Kurama shook his head and left to go back to the hut. Yusuke started to walk

around the village thinking about Kagome. He did not know why though.

`Do I like, Kagome?' Yusuke mused. His hands were in his pockets and his

eyes looking up at the sky. `If I do, how come?' His train of thoughts crashed, when he

bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going, ningen!" It was Inuyasha. `Just great, just great.'

Yusuke thought.

"I was! Besides, where were you last night?! You had Kagome worrying you

know!" Yusuke yelled irritated.

"Boy, it's none of you business!" Inuyasha yelled back. Yusuke right now was

not in the mood to argue with him, but he wasn't going to lose this argument to some inu

hanyou.

"Well, it is my damn business! After all, you had her worried!" Yusuke yelled.

Inuyasha just glared at him.

"Why? Do you love her or something?" Inuyasha asked. Yusuke was taken off

guard, when he asked that. He looked down at the ground.

"I… don't know, but I do know is that… I care for her a lot." Yusuke said. He

walked away leaving Inuyasha, who was surprised that he said that.

As I entered the hut, I could hear Yusuke and Inuyasha fighting. `They most

certainly have a lot in common.'

//Of course, they do! They both are thick-headed, stupid, arrogant, and are

obnoxious.// I mentally sighed. It is very true, very true. //Besides, they could put up as

brothers; but then you would have to change how Yusuke looks like and Inuyasha,

nonetheless, they could put up as brothers.//

I silently agreed and saw the demon exterminator, Sango, wake up. I noticed that

the monk's hand was on top of her thigh.

"HENTAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sango yelled hurting my ears. There was also a loud slap

followed by that. I winced at the sight, and I looked at the monk who has right now a

very large red handprint on his left cheek. I would have pitied him or give him sympathy,

but he had to ask me that question.

"Houshi-sama! Why, do you have to do this ALL the time?!" Sango asked. I

noticed she stressed the word `all'. `Hmm… so the monk does this all the time.'

//He had better not do that to our Kagome.// I heard Youko say.

`She is not ours, Youko. We have to let her come to us. I do not want to force her

to become our mate.'

//Fine.// Youko said. He started to dream about… things. Let us just say that. I

heard Kagome awaken, but the kitsune pup, I could tell was still asleep.

Kagome yawned and rubbed her sleepy eyes. She stretched in this cute way that I

could not help but smile. "Konbanwa, minna-san." She said sleepily. She stood up from

her sleeping bag and walked over to her over-sized yellow bag. `Why does she even have

to carry that?' I mused.

//Who knows.//

`I wasn't exactly speaking to you Youko.'

"Hey, Kurama." Kagome said. I looked over to her. She smiled and beckoned me

to come over where she was. "Can you get some water for me? I need it to cook some

ramen." I nodded and left.
