Last Time:

`Well, Youko, we'll never find out; but we shall keep an eye out on the monk.' I

left with Youko ranting in my head like a broken record.

This Time:

Inuyasha walked towards the hut. He thought of what Yusuke had told him. `Is it

true? Did I make her worry?' His head was tilt down, thinking. `Why is it so difficult? I

know I love her, but the love part. I can't tell if it is like a brother-sister like love or a

passionate like love. DAMMIT!!'

He then felt something hit him hard, making him back away in a few steps. He

even heard a loud thump, too. Inuyasha looked to see what bumped into him. It was

Miroku.

"Oi, Miroku, what's the big idea bumping into me?"

"Inuyasha," said a shocked Miroku. "I apologize, Inuyasha. I must take my

leave." Miroku left in a big hurry.

`What is the monks problem?' mused Inuyasha.

~Miroku~

`Kuso! It can't be happening right now!' mused Miroku. He felt the hole in his

hand growing larger each second. He then reached a clearing.

"My, my, Houshi, what's the big rush?" An all too familiar voice said. Miroku

then looked at who said that.

"Naraku!"

"Well it's nice to know that you still remember me."

Miroku's eyes narrowed at him. "It seems that you, Houshi, don't have enough

time to live." `Naraku, what do you have in mind?' Naraku then threw something at him,

which Miroku caught easily. It was a wooden cross. He then looked up to see Naraku

gone.

"What?! Naraku, you coward, where are you!?" He then felt something breathe

against his neck.

Miroku turned his head just to see who it was. Of course, it was Naraku. Naraku

then shot a tentacle at Miroku's side, causing Miroku to wince in pain. His side began to

heal, but he felt paralyzed. "Naraku, what are you going to do to me?!"

"Simple, houshi, I will make a puppet that looks like you but is controlled by me."

Naraku then took out a knife he hid (A/n: He is not wearing a baboon pelt) under his

kimono.

Miroku never before felt so afraid. He wanted to run, but he could not. His body

began to quiver for the fright was so great. "Houshi, I won't kill you… yet. I just need…"

Naraku used one hand to pull on the tied end of Miroku's hair. He used the knife to cut it.

"…some of your hair. Sayonara, Houshi. Forever you will rest in the dark voids of your

kazaana (sp?)"

Naraku disappeared out of sight. Miroku's hole began opening up quickly. "I'm

sorry, Sango. I wish I have told you that… I love you." With that said, Miroku was

engulfed by his kazaana.

~Kaede's Village~

A loud noise were heard throughout the village. Birds started flying away from

the forest. Kurama, who had just came back from getting water, ran towards the spot with

Kagome. Inuyasha was way ahead of them. They reached the clearing. Hiei, Sango, and

Yusuke were already there. Beside them, was a gigantic crater.

Sango had went up to Kagome, looking a bit sorrowfully at the crater. "Kagome-

chan, do you think Houshi-sama…?" Sango had to sniffle back some tears.

"I… hope not, for your sake and mines, Sango." Said Kagome. There were

rustling noises behind the bush now, and everyone took a fighting stance.

"Hey, what was that sound?" Said `Miroku', as he stepped out from behind the

bushes.

"Houshi-sama?!" Yelled Sango. She had dropped her Hikaikotsu and ran towards

`Miroku'.

"Is there something wrong, Sango?" Asked `Miroku'. Sango had begun crying

salty tears on him. `Miroku' then started inching his hand closer to Sango's butt. Kagome

and Inuyasha started muttering, under their breaths, "When, will he ever learn?'

A loud slap rang throughout the forest. Forest animals started to evacuate the area,

fearing for danger. Sango then angrily left, dragging an unconscious houshi back to

Kaede's village.
