~*~*~*~Okay peoples, I am officially still in writers block but I will try my best to write the chapters k? Allrighty then, on with the story.~*~*~*~

Chapter 12

~*~*~*~

Naraku, Ganon, and Link were getting very tired of all the interruptions(me too, for that matter, you have the same thoughts?) Naraku was especially irritated because of all the men that were asking for HIS precious (::shudder:: think of Lord of the Rings) miko. He sighed impatiently. `Wait, why am I even waiting?' he thought. `This is the PERFECT opportunity to kill them all! They all have their guards down! Yes so perfect!' He informed Ganon of his plan through telepathy, Ganon agreeing of course, and they silently made their move and snuck up on the group.

~*~*~*~Meanwhile……~*~*~*~

Inuyasha was yelling at Sesshoumaru and Kurama, intent on finding out their reasons for wanting *his* Kagome.

"What do *you*(meaning Youko/Kurama) want with Kagome and you" Inuyasha pointing at his `brother', "still haven't answered my question on why you're here."

"As I said before `brother', that is NONE of your business."

"Fine I'll deal with you later…Okay now you" turning back to Youko, "why the hell do you want Kagome and who are the other people over there?" he asked while gesturing towards the Yu Yu group.

"Well firstly w-" Kurama STARTED to say but was interrupted (again with the interruptions, sorry peoples but its necessary) by a blood-curdling scream coming from Sango (hey she's the only girl there at the moment so she is the one that has to scream k?).

Naraku and Ganon had struck unexpectantly at the group. Naraku had tried to kill Sango by slicing her head off. But luckily she dodged and threw her boomerang at him. He dodged also and flew back at her, but Miroku came and helped her fend Naraku off.

Meanwhile Link and Ganon fought. Both were equally matched and were parrying each other's blows skillfully.

Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru decided to put aside their differences for once and help Sango and Miroku. And the Yu Yu group fought with Link. Youko and Shippo were the only ones not fighting. Youko and Shippo came to and agreement and both decided to go look for the missing women.

~*~*~*~With Kagome and Zelda~*~*~*~

Zelda was still out cold from the energy loss from before, but Kagome was wide awake. She looked around at her surroundings, trying to figure out where she was. They were both in the same room (duh) that was very dark. But Kagome could still make out what the room looked like. It was a brick cell-like room; the bricks were a dark gray color, making the room seem even more gloomy (think of a jail cell) than normal. She only saw three other things in the room; a bench, a big wooden locked door, and the Princess. Her eyes then fell on Zelda. She was able to really study her features much more, now that she was locked up with her that is. Kagome watched her with interest and worry. She looked like a very noble and brave woman. And she also looked very kind. But there was one thing that bothered Kagome greatly; Zelda looked very pale and her breathing was ragged. Kagome made an effort to get up and go to her so she could heal her, but found that she was chained to a brick wall; as was Zelda.

`Oh, this is just PERFECT' Kagome thought bitterly but also rolling her eyes. `I need to get out of these chains so I can help Zelda over there. She might die soon! I've got to help her!'

And with that thought she felt a great power welling up inside of her. She started to glow a purplish-white color, and her eyes turned from a chocolate brown to a dark lavender color, and they also started to glow. Her hair changed from raven's wing black, to a silver color and her hands grew claws and her teeth turned to fangs. And last but not least, she grew silver colored fox ears on top of her head.

Kagome had turned into a silver kitsune. (Hint, hint on couples there. ^_~)

~*~*~*~With Youko and Shippo~*~*~*~

Youko was very worried. He could BARLEY pick up Kagome's scent. He was muttering to himself and lost in his own thoughts, that he didn't even notice Shippo, who was sitting on his shoulder, staring at him and glowing with happiness.

~*~*~*~now Shippo's POV~*~*~*~

`Wow, my mommy knows a kitsune?! Why didn't she ever tell me?! This is so great! If I could get these two together then I have a great daddy!'

Shippo was then lost in *his* own little world about how to get them together.

~*~*~*~back to normal POV~*~*~*~

Youko was losing the trail. He was cursing silently to himself, but then something stopped him right in his tracks. Her scent intensified ten fold!

`What the hell?' he thought.

He looked over at the kit to see if he had noticed it too. He had. His little eyes widened to the size of saucers.

"Mommy…" he whispered.

`Mommy??!!' Youko thought. `Kagome has already mated? No, then why would the inu hanyou (he mentally growled at the thought of Inuyasha) claim to say he was going to be her mate? And plus, the kitsune kit doesn't smell anything like her…AND how could a HUMAN have a youkai child?' He was *mostly* satisfied. *Key word: mostly.*

He decided to ask the kit about his thoughts.

"Hey kit," Shippo turned to look at him with a little `huh?' "Why do you call Kagome your mother?"

"Because she is!" Shippo replied happily.

Youko blanched. All hope vanquished. (Awww. . .poor Youko. *sniff*)

"Well…… actually. . ." Youko turned to look at the kit, hopes rising a little. "She is my adopted mother………" Shippo trailed off.

Youko let out some breath he didn't know he had been holding and beamed with happiness. Hope recovered.

`Oh thank Kami! That means I still have a chance at claiming her! (*does a little happy dance in his head*) Now all I have to do is rid myself of those two inu youkai…'

He was broken out of his happy thoughts by Shippo.

"Say mister?"

"What?" Youko replied irritably.

"What was your name again?"

"Youko"

"Well are you gonna be my new daddy?"

"Probably; just as long as I can get your mommy to love me and as long as those two inu youkai stay out of the way. . ."

"YAY!! That would be so much better than Inuyasha or Sesshoumaru or Kouga. . ." his voice trailed off at the last word.

`Kouga? How many admirers does Kagome freakin' have??!!'

"Inuyasha always beats me up, and Sesshoumaru tried to kill mommy a lot of times before. And Kouga, well I don't know about him, he's kind of annoying, but mommy always says he's a friend. But you, your nice and plus, you're a kitsune like me!

"Tell me about this `Kouga' person. I didn't meet him yet."

(AN: beware! If you don't want to read this part it's okay, cuz all I'm going to do is recite that whole episode where they first meet Kouga k? But if you really want to read it, be my guest!)

"Well Kouga is a wolf youkai. Prince of his pack, actually. The first time we met him was because he kidnapped mommy." Youko growled loudly. "He kidnapped mommy cuz she could sense jewel shards, I was trying to save mommy so I got kidnapped too (another growl). Kouga told his pack that no one was to harm Kagome because she could sense the shards and she was his because she was very useful."

Youko growled even more loudly, `what?!? I am soooooooo going to kill that wolf when I see him. How dare he try to take what's mine!"

"After a while I came up with a plan to get me and mommy out of there. I transformed into Kouga and walked out with mommy, pretending I was gonna take her with me somewhere. But the wolf pack found out I was not the real Kouga and tried to kill me. But mommy rescued me and told me to fly away and get Inuyasha (more growls) to help. So I did, while mommy stayed behind to fend off the wolf pack. But then the real Kouga came and saved Kagome from his pack members. And then he started calling mommy his woman; because she could stand up to him and the rest of his pack, just to save me. So she agreed to help Kouga find the jewel shards and help fight in the war his pack was having with some bird youkai because he was nice to her and saved her life.

"But then after a while, me and the rest of the group came to save mommy, but she was helping Kouga! Inuyasha was really jealous because he thought mommy was in love with Kouga. Kouga and Inuyasha had a fight over mommy, but mommy saved Kouga and let him get away cuz he was injured and she said he was a friend. And then that led to a fight between Inuyasha and Kagome. AND since mommy saved Kouga, Kouga thinks she loves him too, and pops up everywhere trying to get Kagome to accept him as her mate.

(AN: okay! That part is over people! I am done reciting that episode. So for those of you who didn't read it start reading again now k?)

`Yup! That wolf is sooo dead when I get a hold of him. How dare he do that to *my* future mate!' (Awww! Once again, don't you wish you were Kagome my fellow sistahs?)

All the while Shippo was telling his tale, Youko had started to run again; following the once again found trail of Kagome's scent. Now they had come to a building/castle where the trail ended.

"So I guess this is the place where Kagome and the other woman are being held right?" Youko thought aloud. Shippo nodded in agreement.

"Yeah Naraku's scent is all over this castle." Shippo added.

"Well we better go get them then huh?" said Youko.

So they walked into the castle in search of the missing girls.

Okay so I know that was a stupid chapter and all, but hey like I said, I have a huge writers block still so its really hard for me to write. But I did like this chapter a little because it *was* 6 pages long. That's pretty good for someone who has writers block!
