Disclaimer: I don't own anything but Kit and Sune. Oh, and Izayoi is from Inuyasha, but, she's the only character from that show will be seen (read) here, and Inuyasha, but he is only mentioned.

Chapter One: Introductions to Her Parents, Sune and Izayoi

Running. Running. They had to keep running, if not, it could mean the end of their lives. Two mortal enemies, crossing the line of hatred to cross into the side of which love knows no boundaries

"Pick up the pace Izayoi. If you expect to live through this, then you must run faster!" Sune, the young demon lord of the Eastern lands, said. His eyes were as gold as shimmering than any piece of jewelry, hair black as coal, with ears and a tail to match. He was the last of his kind, the last of the Kuro Kitsunes (Black Foxes). With the same ability as any kitsune youkai (fox demon), but one thing made him the main target for many assassinations and killing attempts, his ability to engulf others in eternal darkness.

"You want me to pick up the pace!?! You try running away from bandits, armies, and bounty hunters when you're pregnant! I can't go any faster!!" Izayoi yelled at her youkai mate. Her long hair black as the darkness, eyes brown like chocolate. Her pink kimono worn and ruined. But, if looked at it closely, her clothes depict her royalty among the humans. In fact, she is the daughter of a nobleman.

When she first encountered the young handsome demon lord, she was terrified, but as the days passed, and his visits became more often, their love for each other grew. When they first decided to become mates, they hid it, in fear they would be killed, it would've kept on going, until they were spotted by a slave. And now, they are on the run, but not only for their own lives, but for the life of their unborn baby. A baby that will be immediately killed for being the creation of an "unholy" relationship.

"Sigh. Fine, come here and allow me to carry you," dropping his arms to his sides and bending down a bit. After all, he was a few inches over 6 feet, while Izayoi barely reaches 5 foot 5.

After hoping into Sune's arms, they began their run once more. Unbeknownst to either of them, their unborn baby is currently on her way to the living world, and with her follows death, sorrow, hatred and pain.
