Disclaimer: Same as before, I only own Kit, Sune and Youko's father. Nothing more, nothing less.

Chapter Three: Her Arrival and Tragedy Strikes

As the morning sun began to rise, the young forbidden couple began to stir and awake from their sleep. Sighing, Sune began to stand up and walk towards the bathroom, until the moaning of his mate was heard.

"Izayoi! Izayoi!" Sune ran towards the bed as her moaning grew louder. "Ahhhh! The baby! It's coming! Ahhhh!" Izayoi began to scream in agony. As Sune began to panic, Hoshi walked into the room.

"Oh my! The baby is on its way! Go and get me a towel, a blanket and hot water! Well, what are you waiting for?!? Go!" Hoshi commanded and gave orders to the frightened Sune. Once he was finished retrieving the items that was requested and delivered them to Hoshi, he was pushed out the room, and was told, "Come in without my permission, and I'll make sure that you'll never be able to have child ever again!"

As hours passed and the sound of Izayoi's agonizing screams, Sune's patience slowly disintegrated. Worry, fear, queasiness, and anger began to boil inside of Sune, which was until the door slowly cracked open.

"You may come in now Sune. The baby was just born and Izayoi will be fine in a few days. I would like you to meet you new baby girl," Hoshi softly said, "but please, do be quiet, Izayoi is very exhausted and the baby is still getting used to the living world." Nodding to her request, Sune slowly and quietly entered the room. The first thing he saw was the towel covered in blood and the hot water with traces of blood. So that's why she needed those, to clean the baby and make sure it wouldn't be cold. Sune thought. Upon walking closer to the bed, what he saw brought tears to his eyes. The love of his life holding the very product of their love, a beautiful baby girl. But, not just a regular girl, a little hanyou with wavy midnight black hair, 6 tiny black tails, two fuzzy black ears, and her eyes of two different colors, the left gold and the right brown.

"Sune, isn't she beautiful?" Izayoi said weakly. "Yes, beautiful indeed. She has her mother's looks, so of course she's beautiful." Sune picked up his little bundle of joy and cradle her in his arms.

"But, what shall we name her?" Izayoi looked at her daughter, trying to think up the perfect name for her. "How about Kit? Kit means little fox, and she'll always be our little fox. So how about it?" Sune asked his mate. "I like it, it does suite her well, and she really looks like a Kit to me. So there we have it, our daughter's name is Kit." Izayoi smiled happily and she began to stand up and walks towards the two people she loved the most. As Izayoi and Sune were about to kiss, a crash was heard. And following the crash was a scream, but not just anybody's scream. It was Hoshi's scream. Soon, the demon bandits crashed through the bedroom door.

"Grrrrr. What do you want Suiichiro!?!" Sune stood between the demon bandits and his family, arms up defensively.

"What do I want? What I want is the heads of you and your disgusting family!" Suiichiro yelled as he charged at Sune, Izayoi and Kit. Before Sune was killed, he took Izayoi's hand and threw her out the window. (A/N: they were one the first floor) But, what he forgot was that before they heard Hoshi's scream, they placed Kit down on the bed. No sooner than Izayoi was thrown out the window, the room burst into flames.

"Sune!!! Kit!!! Hoshi!! No!!!" Izayoi began to weep the wounds of her heart out right there. And then, she realized, Sune threw her out to save her, and so, she began to run, to make sure that Sune's death was not in vain.

"Hahahahahahahaha!! Now who's the strongest, you fool! Hmm. Wait. What do we have here?" Suiichiro walked towards the bed, "so, this is their child. Fools. Now little one, you shall suffer the same fate as your stupid father!" Suiichiro yelled and his sword neared the young Kit.

"Father! No!" the young Youko yelled as he ran in front of Kit to protect her, "please Father. Please don't kill her. Instead, let her live with us."

"Live, with us!?! Why in the world would I let that filthy hanyou live with us!" Suiichiro's voice filled with rage and confusion. "She can live with us and be my friend. Plus, you can train her to be a skilled thief as well. Please, Father?" Youko pleaded while using the "puppy dog pout". (A/N: you know, when you use the puppy eyes to get what you want. I just call it the puppy dog pout) "Sigh. Fine, she can stay with us, but make sure she stays out of my way, got it!?!" Suiichiro knew it was futile to try and resist the puppy dog pout. "Yea! Thank you Father!" Youko said as he careful ran out of the burnt room with Kit in his arms.

With that, the bandits slowly followed the little kitsune out of the house and back to their lair. Somehow, I can see those to growing up together and falling in love. Sigh. How do I get set up into these predicaments and how in the world do I manage to put up with them. Suiichiro thought, unknowingly to him, he may have just predicted Youko and Kit's future. Maybe, maybe not. But, only time can tell what lies in store for the two kitsunes.

TLS: In the next chapter. You see, it's gonna be about……wait, I can't tell you now, you're just gonna have to wait and see in the next chapter.
