Chapter 1: Betrayal

She was running…

`Why did you chose her Inu Yasha…you said that you loved me'

Running from the pain…

`And that we could live our lives here togetherin the past like you wanted..'

Running from reality…

`How could I've been so stupid…I always thought that you love me for who I am not just

because I'm her copy!! You idiot!! I'm not her!! I'm not anybodies reincarnation!!....im just

my own self and nobody else…'

Running from…..him.

----Flashback----

It was a quiet night as Inu Yasha walked in the forest to clear his mind. The full moon was beautiful.

And the wind was gentle. ` Snnf snnf…That scent its….Kikyo.'

"Kikyo" Inu Yasha said.

Kikyo appeared from the darkness without no emotions on her face.

"It is you Inu Yasha."she said as the wind blew her hair.

"Sango, have you seen Inu Yasha? I've been looking from him everywhere."Kagome said with a worried expression on her face.

"Don't worry Kagome-sama, he's just taking a walk in the woods."The monk said leaning in the corner of the hut.

"In this time of night?"Sango said with a curious look on her face.

"Well I'm going to look for him. Sango, could you watch over Shippo for me?"Kagome said.

"Okay." Sango said.

"Kagome-sama it might be dangerous for you to go in the woods alone in this time of night.." Miroku reasoned.

"I'll be fine, I can take care of my self."she said as she tucked in Shippo to bed.

"Be careful Kagome!!"Sango yelled as Kagome went outside.

"I will!!"she shouted back.

"Kikyo…" Inu Yasha said.

"Its been a long time, Inu Yasha."Kikyo said.

"What are you doing here?" Inuyasha ask as she came closer to him.

"Do you still love me Inu Yasha?"she said while she came closer and hug him..

"I…" he could feel her cold dead body close to him and he could smell the scent of death in her.

"I always wanted to be with you Inu Yasha…but fate kept us apart."she said in a sad voice.

"Kikyo…I.."he wanted to say the words but he could'nt make it out.

"Please Inu Yasha…come with me...my body cannot live much longer in this world..i don't want to be alone..i want you with me.."she said as the wind engulfed around them with a pink light opening a gate.

"Huh, that power it seems so familiar…its Kikyo."Kagome ran as fast as she can to the forest where she sensed Kikyo's power. `Please be alright Inu Yasha'

"Come with me, Inu Yasha."she said as the wind got stronger.

"I will…I want to repay you for what I have done in the past.."he said with a blank look in his eyes.

"NO!!"Kgome shouted at Inu Yasha."Wake up Inu Yasha!!! You have to resist!"

"Its you, my copy."Kikyo said as she gazed at Kagome.

"Leave him alone Kikyo…he hasn't done anything!!"

"Do not interrupt us….come Inu Yasha.."

"Inu Yasha!!"

"Kagome…I'm sorry….i have to repay her for what I done to her…if I wasn't selfish this wouldn't have had happened….I'm sorry….Good-bye Kagome." Inu Yasha said as the gate to hell widened.

"No…no.."Kagome stepped back and began to run…far away…She cried while running, and the sky began to rain.She didn't care if she got wet…she just ran and ran while her tears fell off the ground and washed by the rain….
