What's up?!...I know the ceiling….Ok ok fine, I'll stop my `corny jokes'...Jeez!...By the way, sorry I took so long to update, its just that I have school stuff to do and I have to deal with my Big Bad Bossy sister's mouth everyday here at my house (since my mother went to Philippines) *sigh* man, I wish that I could just zap her in the middle of nowhere and get surrounded by a pack of wolves *chuckles evilly*...Hehehe…That'll be sweet.

Oh and before I forget, thanks for those people who reviewed my fic so far. It really means so much to me *grabs a tissue and blows nose* and also thanks to my good friend Kosaka-chan for helping me with the new OC…and yes, there will be an OC… So just sit back, relax, and enjoy this chapter. BEEP!!BEEP!!BEEP!!BEEP!!-

The teenage girl groaned as she shifted on the side of her bed reaching the Snooze button of the alarm and got up. `Ugh…what happened last night?' she questioned, and suddenly caught a flash of a familiar face in her memory. "Midoriko…" whispered the awakened girl. "Was it just a dream.?...Even though it was, it felt like it was real." She said as she felt a small object on her bed and took it. Shikon No Tama. "How did this get in here?...Oh!....duh..I was holding it last night then..."

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Her thoughts were cut off when she heard a knock on her door.

"Come in." Kagome said. As the door opened she saw her mother smiling at her. "Get ready to prepare for school, Kagome. I wouldn't want you rushing telling me you're late on your first day of school." Her loving mother said (A/n: no fair she has her mom at her house…Wahh!! I miss my MOMMY!!). "Ok, mom." she replied. "And don't forget to change your pajamas before going down stairs." Mrs.Higurashi said leaving her room. Kagome felt a bit embarrass and just got out of her bed. After changing her pjs, she sighed, first day of school. She finally graduated Junior High and now she would know that it would be much harder to survive High School considering that her responsibility as the guardian of the jewel isn't over yet. She fixed her room and put the half of the jewel around her neck. Though, she was still trying to remember what Midoriko said to her last night. As she went down stairs, she greeted her little brother Sota and her granfather and ate her breakfast. But her mother was still curious at her daughter, Kagome seems to change somehow, she once caught her in her room crying. Although, she doesn't know why she was crying but she got to know what her daughter's problem is.

After Kagome finished eating her breakfast she head to the living room, knowing that her mother was contently staring at her, she grabed her bag and about to say good-bye to her mother when Mrs.Higurashi called her, "Kagome," her mother called, "can I talk to you?" Kagome felt nervious when she called her, "Yeah, mom." Kagome walk closer to her mother. "Kagome, Is something wrong?" her mother asked. "I've been noticing that you seem different when you last came home, is everything okay?" Kagome felt uneasy and just didn't want to talk about what happened to Inu Yasha. She hated to lie in front of her own mother but she just doesn't want her to know what happened these past days. "Yeah...everythings fine...I've just been thinking about other school things that's all." She lied. "Well, im glad to hear it." Her mother said. "I have to go mom, bye!!"Kagome said as she head out the door. Mrs. Hirugashi just shook her head. "Teenagers."

Kagome walked through the sidewalks carrying her bag, while she starts to ponder about last night. `What did she told me last night? Arrg…darn, I still can't remember!!' She cursed. "Hey Kagome!!!" shouted a voice behind her. "Huh?" she turned around who it was. "Oh, Arie!" (A/n: that's the OC's name Arie ^_^) Kagome shouted back to Arie. Arie is Kagome's friend last year. She's about Kagome's hieght and has raven hair; her eyes are blue-ish with gray and wear the same uniform just like Kagome. Arie and Kagome had been friends since the start or their Junior High years, she and Kagome had been the prettiest girl in their class and many boys like them. Unlike Kagome, she liked a lot of boys last year and mostly the cute ones and even went out with a popular boy named Eichi (Er ^_^) "How are you Arie?" Kgome asked. "Fine I guess, been a while since I saw you!" Arie said. "Heh, I know." Kagome smiled at her. "So…where's your boyfriend? Eichi-kun." She said smirking at Arie. While Arie just glared at her coldly. "Higurashi…" Arie said as her face began to flush. "Hehehe, just kidding." Kagome giggled. "Well, come on, we're gonna be late if you walk slow." Kagome last said as the two girls walk to school.

~~~~~~In a distant place~~~~~~~~

"Have you spotted the girl?" asked the mysterious man lurking in the shadow.

"Yes." The second voice said.

"Then you know what has to be done." Said the mystery man as his pawn nodded.

"Good. Be sure no one interferes. And if you fail, I will kill you my self." The man stated as he dissappeared in the thick darkness.

"I won't…I will not make her reach her full transformation….she will die in my hands first." The voice started to chuckle sinisterly. "I'm watching you, precious shinigami." The mysterious voice said watching the young miko and her friend from a distant.

*Author:* Sorry I didn't work harder in this chappy, I'm rushing that's why. And the OC Arie (and Eichi….Oooh Er *Winks at Kosaka* ^_~) is not really based on myself…it's my friend...so yeah im putting her in my fic cuz' I wanted to. And I really wanted the YYH gang to make their entrance in this chapter but I'm still making an outline on the next event….so I'll work EXTRA harder next time on the next chapter….if I feel like it.....hehehe just kidding, only reviews make me want to write more, so just keep em' coming!!. And if you're tired of late updates just e-mail me or just give me a note on the review board telling me to get my lazy @ss to work, M'kay ^_^, I wouldn't mind . LOL . And lastly…yes, I do write poems and that was one of my own and I didn't steal it from someone ok.
