Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha made a small camp on the edge of the field. Inuyasha poked the camp fire with a long stick; he had trouble grasping the fact that Kikyo was gone. She would never try and take him again. He was finally free. And he had been released by a girl with the most sparkling and beautiful eyes he ever had seen. "Hey, wait a minute.." his head jerked up and he growled low, catching the attention of Sesshoumaru.

- What is the matter little brother? asked Sesshoumaru.

- Nothing, grunted Inuyasha and threw the stick into the fire.

- If you want us to be true brothers we should not lie to each other, said Sesshoumaru.

- Alright, alright, you know the story behind me and Kikyo?

- Yes I do.

- Well, I just can't believe I am free from her. That girl, Botan, she freed me from the possibility that Kikyo might take me to hell with her, said Inuyasha and fiddled with a new stick.

- Nothing else?

- [Ilikedhereyes], ranted Inuyasha with a growl.

- What?

- Uncle Inu likes Botan-sama, giggled Rin.

- Is that a fact? Sesshoumaru actually smiled at this.

- She seemed nice, muttered Inuyasha.

- Inuyasha? asked Shippou.

- Yes what is it Shippou-chan?

- Are you sad because Kikyo is dead again?

Inuyasha looked up into the sky and shook his head. No, he was not sad at all, only relieved.

- No, Shippou-chan, I am not sad. I am glad. We will travel back with her remains to Kaede so she can bury them again in the temple, said Inuyasha.

- I am glad too Inuyasha, I would have hated it if you were gone, said the young kitsune and climbed up in the hanyou's lap and hugged him tight.

- Thank you Shippou, said Inuyasha and hugged the kitsune back. - It means a lot to me.

- Daddy? asked Rin and moved to sit in Sesshoumaru's lap.

- Yes Rin?

- Do you think Botan-sama will come back?

- Yes, I think so.

- Rin liked her, she was nice. She called the evil lady Miss Baboon face.

Both Rin and Shippou began giggling when they remembered the slight confused face of Kikyo. The ferry girl had caught the chilly bitch off guard.

- Baboon face? Inuyasha gaped.

- Yes, and she kicked her butt good too, said Shippou.

- Baboon face?

- Yes Inuyasha that was the word she used.

- What kind of insult is that?

- A very good one my dear brother, have you not seen the ass of a baboon before? said Sesshoumaru and bit his lip, he was about to laugh, and that would not do at all.

- I see, well…

That did it for Inuyasha and he began laughing like a maniac. Poor Kikyo, she must have taken it very hard. She who always was calm and never let anything get to her. She always thought that she was much better than her reincarnation, and here came a girl from the spirit realm, telling her that she looked like a baboon's ass. Man, this was just too much.

Sesshoumaru twitched his lips but held back the urge to laugh. Rin and Shippou were rolling around on the ground and their laughter filled the air.

Botan heard them and smiled. They were an odd bunch, but she liked them. Especially the guy with the red clothes. It was something about him that made her want to kiss him. "Oh no… what am I thinking?" she felt her cheeks warm up. She swallowed hard and descended down with her oar and walked over to the happy little group.

- Hi again, she said with a shaky voice and waved her hand when they turned their eyes towards them.

Shippou and Rin rushed over and took her hands and pulled her towards their camp.

Ok, so everyone is OOC - but I don't care, I like them to be...
And I am thinking about a new title since this story turned out to be more then just about Kurama's curiosity... Ideas??
