Kagome exited a small coffee shop carrying a cup of coffee. As she walked down the street she started to think of the Feudal Era. ` +SIGH+ I wonder how long it will take Inuyasha to figure out I'm gone. I can image his reaction right now. He would yell and scream about how stupid I am and run to the well to find out I've sealed.' "HaHa", `I wish I could see his face when he finds out he can't get through. But I hope he doesn't finds out that that it's just temporary.' Then a voice brought her out of her thoughts.

"Hey Kagome, It's been a while what 2 years since Graduation." (An: ok just for your info. It's been 5 years since the journey started and 2 years since high school Graduation making her 20) said a 20 year old version of Houjo.

`Aww man I thought that Houjo would have given up by now.' "Oh. Hi Houjo yeah it has been a while." `and here it comes 3…2…1'

"So, Kagome if you're not doing anything tomorrow night I was thinkin' that maybe you might want to…"

"OH! Houjo I'm sorry but I'm goin' to my cousin who lives across town to visit for about 3 weeks I'm so sorry." `THANK YOU, URIMESHEI' (Yuske as her cousin surprise right I know)

"Oh. Well maybe some other time."

"Ok, Houjo…uh…gotta go bye."

` Ok now I've got to deal with that hardheaded jerk that I call a cousin. But good thing I carry around an extra pair of enchanted beads.'

Kagome caught a subway to cross-town with her trusty backpack on hand. On her 19th birthday her old, yellow one had broken so her mom got her a new one that wasn't so clunky and is a deep violet.

When she got to her stop she ran out and up the subway stairs. When she was half way to her cousins' she was deep in thought when she bumped into a guy who looked about a year older than her. When the collision occurred her backpack fell off her back spilled out some of her clothes and her notepads.

"Oh. Excuse me I wasn't lookin' where I was goin' …um…I'm so sorr…" kagome was stopped in mid-sentence when she saw the face of the man she had bumped into.

"It's quite all right I wasn't paying attention either." said the tall red head.

He was a couple inches taller than Kagome, with red hair, forest green eyes and was GORGOUS!

"And by the way my name is Suichi"

"My name is Kagome. Oh I'm sorry I've got to get goin' if I don't my cousin will be furious. Bye, Shuichi."

"Goodbye Kagome"

As they were leaving they brushed against each other.
