Disclaimer~dont own them so dont sue k? and on a side note, I know yall are really upset at me for not updating but please be patient? My muse is gone, my desire for any of my fics is not here, so I dont want to write tripe so I dont write till in the mood. Now this may not be a long one or a very good one, since as I said my muse is not here with me, but with death threaths, *cough cough animalluvah* hehe, I thought I would write something, besides I know yall want something so I am trying k?? Again just remember I do have writers block so if this sucks??? forgive k?? ty ty huggles and smiles Mija..:-)

Chapter 15~Companions!

~~~Inuyasha had been going nuts since they had left the demi god Koenma's office and started on thier hunt through what they called the Makai. They had come across the cobra demons lair and saw his mutilatied body, but all Inu could think of was the smell of Kagome, her fear, her anger and her basic rebeliousness. The fox human called Kurama had gathered information from those near by about the cobra and what had transpired, although by all looks of it, it was plain to see the distinctive mark of Hiei's handy work. But the information had been helpfull. They had heard that a Miko had been kidnapped and held for a very important client, a fox demon by the name Inari. Inari had taken his prize before the cobra demon had fallen to the hands of a small but deadly enemy in black.

~~~They had made their way to Inari's strong hold. Granted, each and everyone of them had been disturbed and grossed out by the strange fauna and flora, as well as the demons that had been residing in the strange forest, so much so that Yuskie has something to say about this while they battled some amorous vines.

"What the fuck?? Kurama your a fox demon, what the hell is up with this forest??..is it just me or is everything here trying to stick thier tenticles, hands or whatever in places they shouldnt be??" Yuskei growled as he used his shot gun to clear a path before him from some very frisky and amorous vines.

"Yes...they seem to be...a bit amourous dont they?" Kurama sighed as he used his own rose whip to slice threw some tree limbs that seemed all to eager to touch places upon thier bodies, that one did not touch unless aroused or given permission to.

"AMOROUS?!!..these things are freakin horney as hell and determined to get to us one way or the other...!!" Inuyasha growled angerly as he used Tetsiega to rip threw more of the forest as they made their way to the fortress they Knew was in the center, where he hoped Kagome was.

"And I dont think they care if we are male or female, they just want in...one way or the other." came Kuwabara's own response as he too used his spirit energy with a sword to cut through thier path.

"Is this guy Inari a fuckin fag or what??" Yuskie growled. (please forgive me, I am in no way against gays or lesbians and mean no offense, it just seemed the word he would use for this)

"Whay are you asking me Yuskie?" Kurama huffed.

"Because your a fox demon too, are all of you bi or what?" Yuskie replied.

"No we are not....some of us are monagamous and seek only one mate in life, others seek many..but this sort of thing?? Only someone who truelly relished sexual prowess would seek, I have heard of this Inari and if I am correct, his only real desire is to have ultimate control of others and through his warped twisted mind he thinks he can do so if he has power over thier sexual desire...after all....desrire and lust can make any demon or man loose control and give you what you most desire if you dont know how to control it." Kurama explained.

"What the fuck are we sitting around chatting for?? Kagome needs me!" Inuyasha roared with renewed vigor as he slashed away more of the forest. His only thought was to get to Kagome and make sure she was fine, to make sure this freak Inari hadnt touched her. He didnt know what he would do if he was to late and she had been harmed. He had promised to protect her. To keep her safe. She was his best friend, the best thing in his life and the only thing worth living for. He couldnt stand the thought of anything harming her. He would die to protect her, or kill anything that would harm her.

~~~They had finally made thier way to the fortress, only to discover that it had been invaded and the miko rescued. The Yu Yu gang breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that it had been Hiei who had done all this damage, but Inuyasha was not so relieved.

"This fuckin place is crazy...as it is my own fuckin hormones are in overdrive...if your friend so much as touched one hair on Kagomes head I swear I will rip him to shreds!" Inuyasha proclaimed as they made their way back out of the fortress and back into the forest.

"Oh shut it dog breath..trust me...if anyone can control his instincts, its Hiei, I never met anyone so cold and unemotional than him." came Kuwabara's remark. This did not help Inuyasha, nor Kurama. He knew that all demons, even ones with Hiei's strong will could easily loose control. He prayed the Miko was still pure and untainted by his friend. He did not want to see what might happen when and if the Inu hanyou smelled something on his dear friend. He himself didnt know what would happen either. His own emotions were not so clear. He hoped Hiei would have more control and prayed he did, but even this forest was proving to be a real task for him. He hated to know what a fire demon such as Hiei would do to a ripe young beautifull Miko such as Kagome. Koenma would not be pleased if he had defiled her on his mission.
