"Argh, I can't believe him, that self centered son of a bitch." Kagome spat, mumbling more curses under her breath.

"KIKYO…" Stopping in her tracks Kagome turned and looked back where the scream came from.

"He would rather fuck a corpse then a real a human, what the fuck is wrong with him?" Shuttering in disgust Kagome turned back and walked back to the village. Entering the village a small puff of orange rammed into Kagome.

"Kagome your back!" Shippo cried knocking Kagome onto the ground. Sitting up Kagome stroked Shippo calming him down as he cried into her stomach.

"It's ok my pup I'm right here, I'm not going to leave you…ever." Kagome whispered holding Shippo closer to her breast as he nuzzled farther into her.

"Kagome you're safe, thank goodness." Sango cried as she ran up to them, Miroku right behind her. "InuYasha said that he was going to kill you when you came back." Collapsing besides Kagome Sango threw her arms around her and sobbed onto her shoulder.

"I'll be fine, don't worry about InuYasha. Lets just leave before InuYasha gets here. I need to get the rest of the shards before Naraku or Kikyo get anymore." Standing up Kagome cradled Shippo in her arms as he was fast asleep from crying, Sango following after.

"Kagome where will we go? What's going to happen to Kaeda and the villagers? When InuYasha finds out that we are gone he'll go mad." Sango questioned leaning against Miroku as he helped her up. Stopping Kagome looked at back at Sango and Miroku.

"Don't worry about Kaeda and the villagers they shall be safe. As for where we are going…who knows?" Shrugging Kagome turned back around and headed into the village.

"How do you know that they are going to be safe Kagome?" Sango questioned cocking her head to the side.

"Simple, I have placed a protection barrier around the entire village and all of the villagers. If InuYasha tried to harm anyone then he would be instantly transported to the Northern Territories." Kagome replied walking into Kaeda's hut, Sango and Miroku right behind her.

"But what about Kikyo?" Miroku questioned sitting down by the fire pit.

"If Kikyo tries to harm or enter the village the souls in which she poses would leave her body and she would die instantly." Kagome replied coolly sitting down trying not to disturb the little bundle in her arms.

"Aaaawww the Soul Tenshi, I presume." Kaeda replied walking in. Glancing up Kagome looked at Kaeda and smiled.

"Yes…it is the Soul Tenshi. I figured that since InuYasha has joined with Kikyo that you would need protection from both of them." Kagome replied shrugging her shoulders and gazing into the fire. The others looking at her silently as a blue energy wrapped around her, making the occupants shiver in cold.

~With the YuYu Gang~

"This had better be good Koenma." Yusuke (sp?) growled strolling into the room, Kuwabara right behind him.

"Trust me it is." Koenma replied smiling lightly. A loud crack was heard as a portal appeared in the room revealing Botan as she stepped out Kurama (sp?) and Hiei following suit. "Good now that you are all here lets get down to business. I have summoned you here for your next mission."

"We figured that." Yusuke snorted as he crossed his arms. Glaring at the spirit detective Koenma turned his attention on to the screen.

"As I was saying you next mission involves the guardian of the Shinko-No-Tama. You are to…"

"Did you say Shinko-No-Tama?" Kurama asked as he stepped forward.

"Yes…yes I did. Now if you would all please stop interrupting me I would like to continue on about your next mission." Looking at them closely Koenma sighed and clicked to the image of the guardian. "You are to find the guardian and protect her at all costs. Once you have the Jewel and the guardian bring them back here."

"What the fuck that's Kagome!" Yusuke shouted as he stared at the screen, the others looking at him questioningly.

"You know who this is?" Kuwabara asked jutting his chin out to glare at Yusuke.

"Of course I know who this is. She is Genkai's only daughter and…shit shouldn't have said that." Yusuke mumbled seeing the death glares he was receiving from the occupants in the room.

"Genkai's daughter? My god I never even knew, she never told us not even Kagome told us." Botan replied sinking to the ground.

"How do you know this Yusuke?" Kurama questioned taking a threatening step towards Yusuke. Sighing Yusuke looked at everyone knowing he wasn't able to get out of this predicament.

"Alright, alright I'll tell you. I meet Kagome when I was training with Genkai…"

"When was this?" Koenma asked eagerly even though he already knew the answer.

"When I was competing to become her pupil. Now shut up and let me finish. As I was saying I meet her when I was training with Genkai, on the fifth day of training she had showed up…"

~Flashback (he's remembering when he meet her) ~

"Damn old woman, making me do this, who the hell does she think she is?" Yusuke snapped balancing on the nail. Not noticing the presence watching him. Growling in frustration Yusuke let out another wave of energy to steady him.

"You now if you keep letting your energy out you are going to fall." A voice said from the shadows making Yusuke fall a loud crack was heard as he hit the ground. Cursing under his breath Yusuke looked around the room.

"Come out and show yourself." Yusuke snapped holding his shoulder in pain. Emerging from the shadows Yusuke gasped as the figure emerged.

"The names Kagome and who are you?" Staring at the beauty before him, Yusuke shock his head to snap back to reality.

"Yusuke, my name is Yusuke Urameshi (sp?) and I'm Genkai's pupil. Who might you be exactly?" Yusuke demanded glaring at the girl before him. Shrugging her shoulders Kagome walked around him slowly observing his body and reading his spiritual energy.

"I've already told you who I am Urameshi." Kagome replied her voice stoic and cold making Yusuke shiver.

"Yeah, yeah but I want to know what you are doing here in Genkai's temple?" Smirking Kagome sat down on the futon, Yusuke following suit.

"This is my mothers' temple." Kagome answered truthfully her stoic face never leaving.

"Your mothers…wait a minute then that would mean you are Genkais' daughter." Yusuke gasped in disbelief.

"Yes I am Genkais' daughter, I am also…"

"That is enough Kagome he doesn't need to know anymore." A voice snapped making Kagome stand abruptly. Turning around Yuska stared at Genkai, and pondered silently.

"Ssssoooo the old hag has a child." SMACK. Collapsing onto the ground from the blow Yusuke glared at Kagome. Glaring back Kagome replied in an icy voice.

"You will not speak to your sensei like that you insolent fool, it is disrespectful."

"That is enough Kagome. I don't want my pupil ending up a pulp as you did the last one." Grinning maliciously Kagome looked down at Yusuke.

"If I find out that you have disrespected my mother I will hunt you down and rip out your bones with my bare hands." Flexing her hands threatening, spinning on her heel Kagome fled the room.

~End Flashback~

"And that's how I meet her. She's actually pretty nice once you get to know her, but you don't want to piss her off. She's not a very nice when pissed." Shuttering in remembrance Yusuke walked towards the door. "Oh and Koenma if I were you I wouldn't take the Jewel from her, she would rather kill you then give it to you or anybody else."

"Uuummm…al…alright then. Change of plans then, you shall find her and guard her with your life, is that understood?"

"Hn." Was the only reply Koenma got from Hiei as he strolled out of the room, Kurama and Kuwabara following. Sighing Koenma plopped back down into his seat.

"Do you think Kagome will kill them when they show themselves to her?"

"I'll have a spot in the other world ready incase she does." Botan mumbled a portal swirling around her as she disappeared into it.

"You have done well my son, I am very proud of you, but be warned Kagome shall not like the concept of you sending Spirit Detectives to guard her. She does not like us interfering with her missions especially this one."

"I know father, I know. Let's hope that she shall forgive us and not try to kill us." Whimpering softly Koenma stared at the screen Kagome's image flittering through. "I hope she doesn't try to kill us."

~ Back with Kagome and the Gang~

Opening her eyes Kagome looked at companions, each one had the look of shock and amazement.

"Ka…Kagome?" Sango stuttered in disbelief as she stared at the transformed Miko before her. Smiling lightly Kagome stood up and walked out of the hut, Shippo still asleep in her arms. Walking to the river Kagome peered down at her reflection, her midnight black hair flowed down to her knees, squatting down Kagome noticed that her hair had blue and red tips, her brown eyes were now an icy shade of blue, her skin shimmered in the moonlight. Smiling Kagome stood up, her true form was now revealed, her energy level spiked higher then that of Sesshomaru's.

"Kagome what are you?" Sango asked stepping behind Kagome. Turning around Kagome smiled at her friend.

"You shall know in time Sango my dear friend." A soft gust of wind swirled around Kagome and played with her hair gently making Kagome laugh.

"That is enough Windy." A delicate laughter was heard as the wind disappeared.

"But it is fun to make you laugh and it is even a greater pleasure knowing I have made you happy." A soft voice answered as it disappeared into the night sky. Laughing softly Kagome looked at Sango and Miroku, both were frozen with amazement.

"Ka…" Sango asked meekly.

"It's Flame Sango, Flame, Kagome no longer exists."
