"Hey Kuwabara have you see Keiko?" Yusuke asked as he looked questioningly at his dumb friend.

"No not since yesterday…but now that you mention it I haven't seen my sister, Shuzume either." Sitting down Yusuke started to ponder to figure out where Keiko and Shuzume could be. CREAK. Snapping his head up Yusuke jumped up and strolled towards the door. Jerking it open Yusuke stared into the faces of his other tow friends.

"Have you two seen Keiko or Shuzume anywhere?"

"No not since the fight yesterday. Why do you ask?" Kurama questioned as he noticed the disappointment in Yusuke's eyes.

"I haven't heard from her since the fight and when I called the house her mother said she hadn't seen her either but she figured she was with one of her friends. I called all of her friend's houses but they said they haven't seen her in the past two weeks." Yusuke replied as he sagged into the chair. "And Kuwabara hasn't heard or seen his sister anywhere."

"Hn." `Fox do you think they are with Yukina?' Hiei asked as he stared at Kurama.

`They could be.' Kurama replied. "Hey do you think they are with Yukina?" Glancing at Kurama and Hiei Yusuke dashed towards the door.

"They could be, let's go and see." Yusuke replied as he ran out the door, Kuwabara following."

"Shall we?" Kurama asked as he looked at Hiei. The only response he got from the demon was a.

"Hn."

~With Flame and the others~

"Shippo, why are you still up?" Shuzume asked as she stared at the young kit.

"I couldn't sleep…and I fear that something bad is going to happen to me mo…to Flame." Shippo stuttered. Smiling gently Shuzume scooped Shippo to her and cradled his small form against her.

"You care for Flame don't you?"

"Yes…yes I do care for her." Shippo muttered as he avoided Shuzume's gaze.

"But you love her like a son would a mother, don't you?" Shuzume asked as she noticed Shippo's cheeks turn red.

"Yes I do love her like a mother but I'm afraid to ask her is she loves me like a son and would accept as her own." Shippo chocked as tears rolled down his little face. Smiling sadly Shuzume let Shippo cry his eyes out before answering.

"Shippo…Flame, my sister, has many things on her mind and because of that she has become cold and distant, but if you look close enough you shall find the same old Kagome you use to know, but you must remember this, she was born as Flame and became Kagome in order to survive in this world." Pausing Shuzume looked at Shippo who nodded his head for her to continue. "But when InuYasha betrayed her she had to reveal who she really was, but no matter what she looks like or what name she goes by she will always love you and she will accept you as her own…if you tell her how you feel she will acknowledge it. Now get to bed."

"Thank you…Aunty Shuzume." Shippo smiled as he ran off towards the camp. Turning her gaze from Shippo Shuzume plopped back onto the cool night grass.

"That was very sweet what you did Shuzume. I've never seen you act so loving or caring for more then a second." Grinning stupidly Shuzume playfully mocked glared at her two sisters.

"Just because I like to be all serious and act like a bitch at times doesn't mean I don't have a softer side to me." Shuzume replied as she glared at her two sisters. Laughing Keiko walked over to Shuzume and sat beside her, Yukina following.

"Aaawww come on Shuzume you know we love you." Yukina teased as she hugged her sister. Snorting Shuzume playfully shoved Yukina away.

"Yeah, when pigs fly." Retorted Keiko as she watched her sisters fight with each other. Grinning at each other Shuzume and Yukina lunged at Keiko making her fall backwards into the water. Sputtering Keiko glared at her sisters as they splashed around in the water acting as if nothing had happened. "You guys are so cruel."

"You three look like wet rats." A voice laughed behind them. Turning around the girls glared at Flame as she swiftly walked back to camp. "Come on little rats I don't want you guys catching a cold." Flame sniggered as she heard there complaints.

~With Miroku and Dog Boy~

"That bitch she will learn her place once I get my claws on her." InuYasha snarled as Miroku bandaged his wounds.

"Hold still InuYasha or you will reopen your wounds again and I don't feel like re-mending them again." Miroku snapped as he tightened the bandage. "There, done" Standing up Miroku walked over to the small stream and washed his hands of the remaining blood.

"What did the bitch say to you before she left?" InuYasha questioned as he slipped his harou (sp?) back on. Tilting his head up Miroku thought silently to himself.

"She said, `I'm not going to kill you…yet, but don't think I won't hesitate to kill you I'll let you live…for now.' That's all and then I was knocked unconscious." Miroku replied as he walked back towards InuYasha. "Your mate is here, you should go to her." Looking at Miroku InuYasha sniffed the air and dashed off towards his…oh say beloved mate.

"I'll be back." Was the only thing Miroku heard as InuYasha left. Mumbling under his breath Miroku flopped down onto the ground.

"What an idiot he chooses the dead corpse instead of a living breathing person…he is so stupid." Sighing Miroku laid down on the ground and watched as the sun started to rise. `How did we go so wrong, so fast?' Jerking up Miroku grabbed his staff and ran off to find Flame and others. "I'll do whatever it takes in order to have forgiveness." Miroku spoke as he picked up speed.

~Back to Flame and the others~

"Momma…no momma." Shippo screamed as he bolted awake. Hurrying to his side Flame scooped him up against her and started to stroke him whispering comforting words to him.

"Its ok, its ok I'm here sweetie, I'm here." Flame cooed as she rocked Shippo back and forth. "Wake up sweetie, come on wake up." Opening his eyes Shippo stared into Flames gentle face.

"Momma...oh momma…I keep seeing you being killed by InuYasha and…and."

"Shhh its ok Shippo I'm here and nothing is going to happen to me my son."

"Son?" Shippo questioned staring at Flame, smiling Flamed nodded her head.

"Yes Shippo you are my son, my child, and my pride and joy. Never forget that, never." Crying Shippo snuggled into Flame's warm embrace as he wept tears of happiness. "I love you my son and nothing will change that." Flame whispered.

~With the Girls~

"She'll finally find some happiness." Yukina whispered as a smiled graced her face.

"Yep and now we can finally rest and get some sleep." Shuzume yawned as she snuggled into her sleeping bag, earning glares from her sisters. "Alright, alright I agree with you guys but I can't help it I'm so tired." Sighing Keiko shook her head in embarrassment.

"You will never learn."

"Yep that's the truth." Yukina replied earning a slap on the head from Shuzume. Spinning around Yukina froze Shuzume's arm with her ice powers, grinning in victory Yukina walked over to her sleeping bag and eased herself in. "Good night you guys."

"Night." Keiko replied as sleep clamed her.
