Secluded Problems

 

A/N: Hiya! I'm on the third page of the outline and I couldn't wait to get started on this fic! I'm NOT going to be wavering form the main outline so I hope ya like it! I know that there's a great part to leave it off as a cliffie, but I want ta get the WHOLE battle in this chap!! In this fic, Kagome is thirtteen! She fell down the well at age twelve and spent a year looking for shards not goin home. Miroku is actually a wind youkai. Sango is a ningen taijiya still and everything else is the same! Miroku is fourtteen in ningne years. One year older then Kagome.

Part One: The Defeat Of Naraku

 

A hanyou in a baboon pelt stood laxily on the summit of a large hill watching the bloodshed before him with a smirk. That same smirk was the one he always wore whenever someone was pleading for their lives before he killed them. It was always the same. Capture. Torture. Watch them plead for their lives. Kill. The same old routine over and over again. It got quite boring after a while. He came up with more and more way. Each one different from the others before.

 

Screams of pain were heard all over the miles and miles of battle all around that one hill. As far as the eyes could see, two armies were waging war. His, the biggest; consisting of thousands of youkai, all at his command. His opponents, consisted of only six warriors. All strong ones who can kill many youkai in one attack. Who will win? Their evenly matched, for the most part.

 

On the North side of the battlefield, a taiyoukai grunted as a gash appeared on his new left arm. He didn't think anything of the wound. It was just a scratch. It would heal anyway. He decapitated seven youkai with one swing of his Tokijin letting the powerful youkai aura around it disapitate other youkai in close range. Their screams didn't stand out from the rest. Sensing an attack from behing he growled and used his Tokijin to decapitate the honorless offender while turning around. Sheathing his Tokijin, he created a whip form his youki and lashed out an many youkai. Every youkai around him within a twenty foot raidiance was killed instantly. The taiyoukai smirked as more came and took the place of the ones before them. He used his whip again and they were killed. Sensing another attack coming at him, he did a back filp and attacked with his poisonous claws.

 

A taijiya growled inhumanly as she let her giant boomerang fly with a cry of "HIRAIKOTSU!!!" She grunted in pain as a Katana slashed at her back. She quickly turned around while unsheathing her katana wnd cleaved the youkai cleanly in half. She decapitated another youkai and sheathed her katana just as she caught Hiraikotsu. She held onto one of the straps and swung it around killing the youkai around her. Once again, she let Hiraikotsu fly while unsheathing her katana again and killing three youkai this time.

 

Reaching under her shoulder armor, she pulled out a shell full of poison. She watched as itwent all over her katana black and started killing again. Hiraikotsu never came back as someone knocked it out of it's path. The youkai that came up to her and stepped on the poisoned youkai didn't see the poison oozing onto themselves form the dead bodies and were killed slowly as the taijiya went into a different direction to help her friends.

 

A houshi was on the South side of the battlefield throwing hamafudas in every direction. Several screams of pain came to his ears. Small piles of dust was all that was left of the purified youkai. Wind blew and scattered the dust all around the battlefield. The houshi blocked an attack with his staff and stuck the middle of the offending youkai's head with it killing the youkai instantly. The youkai fell with a thump onto another small youkai knocking him unconscious. The small youkai quickly suffocated form the heavy weight pressed upon it.

 

The houshi threw some more hamafudas and black two attacks with his staff before bashing another youkai's head. The same routine over and over again. Throw. Block. Bash. Throw. Block. Bash. Throw. Block. Bash. He sighed and decided on doing a new move. He quickly spun around gracefully while decapitating six or seven youkai with that one swing. More youkai took their place and he quickly purified them. Their screams went unheeded to the youkai that took their place. The houshi smirked. These youkai were extremely stupid.

 

The inuhanyou on the East side of the hill used his Tetsusaiga against hundreds upon hundreds of youkai with a cry of, "BAKURYUUHA!!!" and against lesser with a cry of, "KAZE NO KIZU!!!!" Many bodies fell to the ground with sickening thumps by his katana's attacks. Stiil, more and more youkai filled up the dead ones' spaces and they were killed with the same attacks. Sometimes, the inuhanyou would use different attacks like: Blades of Blood, Exorcising Claws of Steel, Claws of Steel, and Sankon Tessou (i forgot what it was. i got a feeling that i already said it though). A katana made it's way through his abdomen and he hissed in pain. He quickly turned aorund and decapitated the offender with his claws. He used his Tetsusaiga's attacks some mroe and helped lessen the amount of the army left, little by little. He flipped once or twice to avoid an attack before relatialing.

 

Around thirty feet away from the taiyoukai was a small girl. Her long black hair was in a side half ponytail and a look of confidence crossed her face as she shot hamayas at youkai that were getting closer to her than wanted. They screamed in pain as they were disapitated. Their remains were unheeded warning to any other youkai that got close to her. She had a look of determination on her face as she notched another arrow. Her magic quiver was still completely full. No youkai dared touch the young miko for fear of upsetting the taiyoukai once more. He already came to her rescue once and killed all the youkai around her in a hundred foot radius.

 

A kitsune kit burned many youkai to ashes by his favorite attack, "KITSUNE-BI!!!" A pile of ashes built up around him almost blocking him from view. All the ashes were of youkai that the little kit had killed during this one battle. A few youkai came up behing him. The kit turned around and made illusions of himself and they went after them instead of him giving him the chance to kill them with his Kitsune-bi. More youkai came at him, but died of burns. The way that al of the one's before them did. Soon, the kit couldn't even be seen. He jumped on top of the pile of ashes ans shot a huge ball of Kitsune-bi at one side clearing a way out of the circle.

 

A taijiya miko fired her hamayas like the young miko, but more miko power surrounded them. Her whole body glowed in pure power as any youkai that tried to attack her were desintegrated. She summoned her Hiraikotsu from a charm bracelet and swung it around by a handle as it glowed with dark green miko power. To say that the youkai were the only one's surprised at the odd miko energy was an understatement. The taijiya miko's eyes widened considerably as she froze for a few seconds. A few stupid youkai tried to attack her now, but were purified by the power surrounding her body. She blocked two attacks with her Hiraikotsu before letting it fly through the air with the same cry of "HIRAIKOTSU!!!"

 

She took out her katana just in time to spin around and block six attacks coming from different ways. Another swing and the stunned youkai were decapitated. Their bodies fell to the ground with a thump as she sheathed her katana and caught her Hiraikotsu just in time. She tossed her Hiraikotsu again, but it never came back. Many youkai attacked her from every side. She spun around and blocked most of their attacks, but got a few gashed on her back and arms. Blood spurt. From everyone in the battle. There was a second where everyone just watched the blood. Then, everyone got back to the battle. The miko's katana was knocked out of her hands. She growled a "Shimatta!!" and started to glow.

 

The hanyou watching the battle from the hill snapped his head to look at the light. His eyes widened as he saw who it was. The taijiya miko. She was the one he truly feared. The one with the power to defeat him. This time, the entire battle stopped. No one moved or said anything as they watched the light. Dark clouds flew into the sky over att of the battle. Thunder rumbled. Lightning flashed. The white light turned into a mixture of pink, purple, blue, and green. All contrasting with each other (creepy tyedye). The light kept on getting bigger and bigger. The hanyou on the hill tripped, but that was the only movement. The taiyoukai dropped his Tokijin on his retainer's head in shock at so much power the taijiya miko had. The taijiya dropped her katana, but caught it in time, abd sheathed it before she really did drop it.

 

All the youkai within a hundred feet of the miko, besides her partners, were desintegrated. Their screams were the only sound that was ever made, except the storm. Lightning flashed. Rain fell. Thunder roared it's warning, but none were heeded. Within seconds, everyone was drenched with the rain as it attempted to was away the blood that stained the ground.Within two hundred feet of the miko, all the enemy youkai were desintagrated like the ones before them. Their screams were unheeded. Suddenly, the glow stopped and there stood the taijiya mik with longer black hair that went to her hips, brighter blue and green eyes, and was wearing a long brown skirt with a lsit to her mid-thigh so she could fight.

 

She wore armor over her front and back. Everyone was stunned. No one moved. The taijiya miko put her hands on a wolf youkai and took out balanced his soul. Screams were heard all over the battlefield. Many bright souls drifted into the black coulds. Thunder roared. Lightning flashed. More rain fell drenching everyone even more. The battle began again as everyone began moving. The hanyou on top of the hill growled in frustration. He spent his teleportation skill on this whole army and now less than half of it remained. It wasn't long before they were killing him. He fingered the necklace he had around his neck. It would take his soul and reincarnate it to hundreds or years into the future.

 

Soon, his whole army was gone. Defeated. And they ran up the hill leaving blood from their wounds in their wake. The evil hanyou smirked as he saw their wounds. Even the taijiya miko had serious wounds. He doughted that the hoshi, taijiya, and taijiya miko would even make it through him.

 

"NARAKU!!!" The inuhanyou yelled venomously. "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!!!"

 

The hanyou known as Naraku smirked again earning a growl from the taijiya miko and the taiyoukai. The taijiya miko whispered something to the young miko and the kitsune kit, they nodded and ran down the hill and into the woods. The inuhanyou charged at Naraku, but he dodged. The taijiya miko got up and looked at what was happening. She sighed exasperatedly and let her hands glow. They formed a ball of miko power and she shot it at Naraku. Naraku didn't even notice what was happening until he was already dead. Everyone looked at Kagome.

 

She walked to the taiyoukai and healed his wounds. She walked over to the inuhanyou and healed his wounds. The same went for everyone in the entire group. They all left for different places, not taiyoukai made the taijiya miko his imouto before he left and she now was a youkai. A red kitsune, like her son. They all went back to Kaede's village and explained it to her. As the taijiya miko was getting ready to leave for good, the houshi and her son came up to her.

 

"Kagome-sama?" The houshi asked. The miko now known as Kagome looked at him warmly.

 

"Sou?" She asked as her son jumped onto her shoulder.

 

"You know how Sango-sama is betrothed to Kuranosuke-sama?" He asked. Kagome nodded. "I was wondering if I could live in your time since you taught me a lot about it."

 

"Of course you can!" Kagome exclaimed. "It would be nice to have you and Shippo-chan come live with me, Miroku-sama!!" Miroku's spirits lifted. "But, I can't get home... I've tried the well many times and it won't work..."

 

"Oh, well," He said. He changed into his youkai form. Kagome and Shippo gasped. InuYasha had already left with Kikyo and Sango left to find Kuranosuke. "I guess no one noticed..."

 

"Oh, well," Kagome changed into her kitsune form making Miroku smirk. "I'm one, too."

 

"I knew that," He said. "You forgot to cover your scent well enough for a wind demon. Hnayous are easy enugh to trick."

 

"Yep!" Kagome and Shippo exclaimed.

 

"Let's go!" Kagome called to Miroku as she and Shippo started leaving him behind. Miroku caught up quickly and they all walked down the familiar path towards the well.
