~Outside (dark) ~

 

 

“It's cold” Brooke said rubbing her arms. The rain was falling faster, and the wind was blowing, and causing it to hit her in the face, and it felt as if she was getting slapped around in the face. She was sitting underneath a stone table trying to keep dry, and stay away from the cold.

She wasn't ready to go home just yet; so she stayed out longer.

 

Brooke was staring at the gray and rainy sky. Her direction was directed to some thugs that were following a young girl into an ally way. She looked just about two or three years younger then her, and looked stressed out.

Brooke tried to call out to them, but it was useless; they had ignored her. Brooke crawled out from under the table, and followed the guys, and girl into the ally.

 

She heard a scream when she reached the corner. When she turned the corner she saw the girl lying unconscious by a trash dumpster. She was bruised; the guys turned and faced her.

 

“Hey!” Brooke yelled at them. “Why'd you do that?”

“Go away stupid girl” the man said in a low, and cold sounding voice. It sounded almost dead, like the scratching at your window from a tree branch on a cold rainy day…like today.

“What if I don't want to leave?” she said in a sassy tone. This aggravated the man. He turned and faced her. He held his arm up to her, and some weird blackish green vein shot out at her, and plastered her up against the brick wall, and wrapped her there.

 

Her entire body was covered up to her neck and felt as if it was crushing her, she felt her chest being pushed on harder and harder. She watched as the men suddenly turned into some strange monsters.

 

They were tall, fat, and gray monsters with pig like faces, and they had some slim dripping off of them There voices changed, and they had groggy voices, and their eyes were red, and looked like a bloody pool.

The one with grip on her walked toward her, and began to breath down her neck. She pushed her head to the side to wear he could only see half of her face. She was pushing herself against the wall trying t get away. She could feel the fear tricker up, and down her spine. For the first time she was afraid. “Is this is?! Am I going to die?! NO! I can't, not yet!” she said to herself. Hiei, Yuske, Kurama, Someone please magically show up, and help me.

 

“No one is going to help you, they aren't here to watch you die.” He said.

“He's toying with me, he can read my mind.” She said to herself.

 

“Yes I can read your mind; I was sent here by Naraku to kill you, and bring him your heart, and bear him your blood.” He said

 

“Nar…Naraku!” she said stuttering.

“I didn't stutter” he said

 

“He wants your blood, and your body, but I don't know what he wants with a human girl. I prefer to take you to him in pieces, but then again I don't have to listen, but in this case he's offering a piece of the sacred jewel” he said.

 

“Sacred Jewel?!” she said. Brooke tried to move, but she couldn't, she couldn't even feel her legs anymore. The demon leaned in closer to her, and began to breathe down her neck, she could feel his hot breath.

 

Brooke tried to get away from him. She began to panic, and she knew he could sense her fear. It was in her blood, and all over her face. The demon stuck out his long tongue, and began to slide it down her neck.

 

Brooke suddenly began to squeal, she felt, a hot tear run down her face. She wanted to be somewhere else. She suddenly began to feel week, she was losing her spirit energy; the demon was sucking all her spirit energy from her. She turned her head, and spit in his face.

 

The demon had her saliva running down his face. He turned his head slowly, and raised his other arm, and quickly slapped her across the face, and clawed her face. She had three claw marks across her face.

Brooke had blood running down her face. She was sweaty, and cold.

 

~Somewhere else~

 

“Is your sister ever going to come home?” Kuwabara asked staring at the T.V. “I have no idea!” Yuske said. Hiei was sitting over at the window sill staring out at the dark and rainy picture out the window. Kurama was sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee, and the newspaper.

Hiei suddenly stood up, and walked out the door. “Where do you think your going?!” Kuwabara asked. “Out” Hiei said slamming the door behind him. Botan suddenly appeared before them all.

 

“Hi” she said in the most cheery voice. “Where's your sister, and where's Hiei?!” she asked confused.

 

“Umm….Hiei just left, and my sister left somewhere” Yuske said. “WHAT” Botan said “You're supposed to be watching her.

“We were before Kuwabara pissed her off.” Kurama said Botan looked up, and ran over to the door, and opened it wide. The rain just kept getting worse and worse, it didn't look as if it had plans to stop soon. Botan suddenly heard a faint cry for help. Yuske and Kurama jumped up, and ran over to her side. Kuwabara got up, and was moving slow.

 

“Did you hear that?!” Kurama asked. Yuske nodded, and then all three of them took off into the direction of the cry. “Please get there in time boys” Botan said when they were off.

 

~ Ally way ~

 

Brooke started to pushed herself up, and she began to move slowly, but she couldn't the demon's hold on her was to strong, and she had lost way to much spirit energy.

 

Her vision began to become blurry, and she was seeing things. She suddenly started to scream, and she couldn't stop, she didn't know what had just come over her, but it hurt, and she couldn't stop. The demons began to let out a faint cry, and his grip on her loosened, and she was dropped to the ground. She feel on her knees, and she crawled over to the side of the wall.

 

She crawled over to the girl on the ground who was lying by the trash can. She turned her over on her back, and the blood on Brooke's face fell and landed on the girl's and suddenly the girl sprung back to life, and was crying.

 

Huh?! Her body was just cold as can be. She felt al…almost dead. “Are you alright?” Brooke asked.

The girl looked up at Brooke, and hugged her. “Thank you, I'm fine” she said looking at her face. “Your face it's…it's bleeding” she said.

 

“I know” Brooke said, and she began to smile, and suddenly she felt herself falling slowly, and she hit the ground, and was lying motionless in the cold , now poring rain. The girl stared at Brooke's body for a little while, and then suddenly got, up and ran away.

 

Hiei saw Brooke lying on the ground, and he walked over to her side, and held her in his arms as he knelt down by her side. “Wake up” he said softy. Suddenly a black hole began to form around the two. Hiei tried to move, but he couldn't he was being pulled down, Brooke's body was covered in a greasy grimy slime, and she was slipping from his grip, and he was trying to hold her tight.

 

Yuske, Kurama, and Kuwabara showed up in time to see the two. Kurama, and Yuske ran over to them both, but they couldn't reach them. Hiei tried to keep his head up, but………it covered over him. Yuske ran over to the spot, and fell into the hole, and kurama, and Kuwabara jumped in after them.
