* Hey evrone I'm back!!! So with out any further ado on with the STORY!

Sesshomaru winced slightly at the volume of their shouts. " You must be joking Sesshomaru," Kane yelled at the demon lord. " What good will that stupid wench be in battle." He paused momentarily to point at Kagome with a disgusted sneer on his face. " If neither Youko or I has been able to defeat Naraku what makes you think some worthless human woman could."

Kagome who had been silently watching the wolf demons outburst felt her anger grow at his words. At the moment she wished nothing more than to feel her hands squeezing the life from his big arrogant body. Taking in a few deep-calming breaths she was able to calm herself down…some.

Sesshomaru suddenly rose to his feet his chair toppling to the ground behind him in a clatter. Before anyone could realize his intentions he had grabbed Lord Kane by the collar of his robes and was holding him a couple inches off the ground. Leaning forward Sesshomaru look right into the frightened mans eyes and growled. " Don't you ever," Sesshomaru said in a low deadly tone. " EVER talk about Kagome that way again. DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!"

Tossing the man aside Sesshomaru turned his attention to Kagome and Youko who were both standing off to the side and out of harms way. " Kagome it would mean a lot to me if you would go to maikai and clear up this mess for me." Sesshomaru asked back to his usual calm unemotional self. " Of course." Kagome replied immediately a smile on her face. " Thank you." Sesshomaru said.

He then turned his gaze on Youko who had so far been silent. " This is agreeable with you as well Lord Youko." Sesshomaru inquired. " Indeed." Was the only thing he said before turning and striding to the door. After pulling the door open he pauses in the threshold. " We leave at dawn tomorrow Lady Kagome, be ready." Without so much as a glance back Youko strode into the hallway closing the door behind him with a soft click.

The momentarily forgotten Kane scrambled to his feet and ran from the room Youko pausing only to send a glare in Kagome's direction. Shivering slightly from the malice she saw in the wolf demons eyes turned to Sesshomaru with a deep frown on her face. " Why didn't you ask me first before volunteering me to go on this little excursion?" " Because," Sesshomaru said with a humorous smile on his face. " If I had told you before hand I would have had to listen to you rant and rage the whole time at break fast this morning.' Sesshomaru said simply. Without waiting to hear her reply Sesshomaru too fled the room. Chuckling to himself when her herd Kagome's furious scream echo threw the castle.
