Sister Nightfall
1.
Sango laid in her room, listening to the house fall asleep. When she was sure that everyone, including her pesky parents, had gone to sleep she took her long dark blue cloak and climbed out the window. She was twenty one years old and her parents kept her locked up like a freaking bird in a cage. She hated it. This was the night she would run away and never return to these parts of the land. Never.
She had filled her pockets with jewellery and money, she wanted to get away as fast as possible, and carrying around some luggage would only slow her down. So she the only thing she owned was her clothes, the cloak and the stolen jewellery. She smiled evilly, her mother would never notice that they were gone, her treasure chest was filled to the rim with necklaces, earrings, bracelets and shit like that, her father bought her mother's love, she was sure of it. "Oh well, it will get me far, far away from the assholes." Sango shrugged and shimmed through the dense forest floor.
The reason for her departure was not only her hatred for her parents, it was the way they treated her. It was like she was a possession, an item, something they could trade off if it became inconvenient, and that was something they had tried. Sango snorted and remembered.
* Flashback *
Sango was called downstairs by her mother. Actually, her mother would never raise her voice, she sent a chamber maid to collect her daughter and take her to the great hall. Sango came into the big doors and waited until she was called forth. She hated this room, this display of power and wealth.
- Sango, my darling daughter come here and meet Lord Hojo, said her mother sweetly.
Sango nodded and walked up to her mother. She saw an overly dressed, almost feminine like male and she wanted to hurl. She did not like that look in his dark brown eyes. But she plastered on a fake smile and nodded towards the "gentleman."
- Sango-sama, I am very pleased to meet you, said the lord with honey smeared voice and took Sango's hand and kissed it.
- Hojo-sama, nice to meet you too, said Sango and pulled away her hand. She wanted to brush her hand off on her dress but she managed to keep herself in behaviour order.
- Have you been informed of the reason for my visit here today? He asked.
Sango shook her head and saw her mother disappear with an ohhh so loving smile. Something bad was up, nothing good ever came up when her mother smiled like that.
- No I have not Hojo-sama.
- I am glad to bring you the news then my lovely little Sango, he said.
- What news?
- I have asked for your hand in marriage and your parents have given me your consent. Is it not wonderful?
Sango was surprised that his face did not broke when he smiled up. But she was shocked over the news. They had what??!!!
- Sorry Hojo-sama, but I have not given my consent to anything and certainly not to a thing like you!! she snarled.
- But Sango-sama, we will be perfect together, he said.
- Take your shiny ass and disappear before I kick you in the balls, if you got any of course!
- Sango-sama!! he breathed, shocked beyond word of her language.
She snorted and turned around and walked away. But she was stopped; he grabbed her wrist and turned her around to face him again. Big mistake. She balled her hand and she hit him hard, making sure he was seeing a lot of stars.
- Never, and I mean never, touch me again if you want to keep your life Hojo-sama, she whispered with a low voice, filled with hatred.
He did not answer because he passed out. She snorted and put her nose into the air and walked out of the room.
* //Flashback *
Sango smiled at the memory. The fancy bird got what was coming for him. She dodged some low growing branches and headed towards a light in the far off of the forest. She had been running for at least a couple of hours, and she began to tire. Running that long was taking its toll on her and she needed to rest. Perhaps she could get some warm food and a shelter for the night.

Ok, I have been stuck with this pairing for a long time, but I think I have something going here.
I got the title from a metal group called Sirenia, they have an inspirational song called Sister Nightfall.
