STARTING OVER

Sorry for the delay folks…I blame Naruto, I just found the manga and I have been hooked. Seriously, it is taking every ounce of my will power to sit here and write this instead of finding out how that fight between Gaara and that guy who uses his bones as weapons turns out…I'm dieing to know! The only reason I am writing now is because I feel guilty because I promised a new chapter like 2 weeks ago and I am just now writing it…*sigh* please forgive me. To make up for it I will try to make this long and interesting…cant promise the long part though, I have absolutely no inspiration…I'm running on fumes here! okok ill stop whining and write… ON WITH THE STORY!
CHAPTER 17
Shippou jerked up from his relaxed position, causing Reiya to tumble to the floor. Shippou brought a quaking hand up and scrubbed at his dampened face. He noted absently that his clothes where sticking to his body because of the cold sweat that had broken out as a result of the unsettling dream.
A lone thought crept into his head and wouldn't leave. Was it a dream? Shippou shook his head and smiled reassuringly at Reiya who had reclaimed he spot on the couch next to him and was sending worried glances his way.
"I'm fine Reiya-san, just a bad dream."
She smiled innocently and spoke while she was, once again, snuggling against his chest.
"You shouldn't pass dreams off as nothing Shippou-kun, they are gateways to the future."
As she snuggled deeper into him and the couch (mainly the couch, they just met you pervs!) she failed to notice how rigid he had gone after hearing her words. Shippou mentally slapped himself. There was no need to get all worked up over a tiny nightmare. Shippou worried his bottom lip between his fangs, careful not to cut it. Maybe he should just go look… was it really so childish to seek comfort in your mother after a troubling dream? Felling slightly better he wriggled and twisted gently until the slumbering demon's arms unwound themselves from his torso. Shippou smirked at his success, then quickly placed a large body pillow next to her in his place. She mumbled something along the lines of `wobbly muffins' and hugged it close to her.
Shippou smiled softly at her and brushed the pink bangs away from her eyes. She seemed so innocent while sleeping, not the fierce demoness she was in the ring. Shippou frowned again as a thought passed though his head. `Am I really going to go into Haha-ue's room like a pathetic child?' He snorted at himself and nursed his pride as he made his way to his mothers door. Opening it he saw a scene right out of his nightmares.

ya ok, I said I would make it long….i am an evil liar. Im sorry for the wait guys and im even sorrier to say that I wont be updating as often as I used to. Naruto hooked me so bad that I started a fic. Its called frightening truth. For those Naruto-kun fans out there here is the summary…its rated `r' by the way.
Naruto gets attacked while he and the rest of team 7 are trying to find a cat in the Forbidden Area. What is this jutsu and how will the others react when they finally get to see what Naruto is like on the inside. rated for language and violence.
