Chapter 6: Itty Bitty Hero

Yusuke and Kurama ran as fast as they could to Sesshomaru's palace. Youko knew the way and they were going on by his directions. "This way!" Kurama pointed to a large palace in the west.

Yusuke was in awe at the size of the large home. "Who's rich enough to own a house this big?!" Yusuke shouted.

Kurama calmly stated, "That would be Lord Sesshomaru's palace. He has Kagome." Kurama motioned for Yusuke to follow him to the gate.

They got there and 4 guards stood to attention at the `trespassers'. One of them took a step forward and said like a pro, "What business do you have here?" Kurama said with a fake panic in his voice.

"I have urgent news for lord Sesshomaru! Please let us see him or bring him to us!" Yusuke played along and put on a face of terror.

The guards stood aside. "Right this way sir." The gates opened and they ran to the door. They opened it and saw a short toad demon with a staff in his wart filled hand.

The petite demon looked over at them and shock and anger filled his face. He yelled at Yusuke and Kurama. "You! What do you think you are doing in the Great Lord Sesshomaru's castle?!" The toad was greeted by a large whack from Yusuke.

Kurama rubbed his temples in a frustrated way. Yusuke looked proud of himself. Kurama walked up slowly to him. "Yusuke, he could have had information on where Sesshomaru is." Yusuke rubbed the back of his head.

"Sorry?" He laughed nervously.

"Come on let's look over here." Kurama was about to go on when a cold voice said.

"Who gave you the permission to come in my home." It was more of a demand then a question.

Kurama turned around and bowed low as did Yusuke. "Do you have a girl by the name, Kagome Higurashi?" Sesshomaru raised an eyebrow.

"Yes. Why do you ask? Are you friends of hers?" He started to think about what could be happening to Kagome in the dinning room right now.

"Yes, Yusuke here is her cousin and I am his friend." Sesshomaru sniffed for a minute.

"This human does not smell of Kagome, he reeks of sweat and dirt." Yusuke held his anger. (WOW!)

"We had run here to find her. May we see her?" Kurama waited patiently for Sesshomaru's answer.

"I suppose." Sesshomaru looked down at Janken's unconscious figure. Then Kurama. "Did you do this?" He asked. He didn't care, he just asked.

"Yusuke did. He tends to loose his temper easily." Kurama bowed in forgiveness, as did Yusuke.

Sesshomaru left Janken to go see Kagome and motioned for Kurama and Yusuke to follow.

They walked down many halls before they came to a stop. In front of them was just what Sesshomaru didn't want. He saw….nothing. They took her. I knew they would not beable to control themselves with her looks, but this is too far. They will pay. Sesshomaru turned to face them and said coldly, "She has been kidnapped by the thunder brothers." Yusuke and Kurama raised an eyebrow to state their confusion. "I will explain."

While Sesshomaru talks about the Thunder brothers, Hiei has just seen the mess Kagome is in!

****WITH HIEI****

The thunder youkai was on top of poor Kagome and she was facing the doorway while the youkai felt her and licked her neck. He hadn't marked her, but he was acting as her mate. Kagome's expression of surprise and anger turned to relief and calmness. But Hiei just stood there with his eyes slowly going red.

+Please, not now. Just get him off of me…+ Her voice was sad but strong in his mind.

Hiei snapped out of his youkai blood rush and took action. Hiten was too busy with Kagome to notice the small Koormie (sp?) charge after him and push him aside.

Hiten noticed his contact with Kagome was gone. He looked at where she was and he also saw a male youkai with forbidden blood tell her to get up and get ready to fly to her friends.

Kagome did as told. Hiten was mad at the fire apparition for taking away his time and he smirked. "You really think you can take away my mate to be?" Hiten looked at his attire and found that he was in no armor. Damn, guess I will just have to use my fists! Hiten lounged forward and met with a large impact on his back. He was knocked unconscious.

Kagome stood in shock. This guy id tough! Even InuYasha had a hard time with Hiten! She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard her savior's voice. "Come on. We're leaving. Or do you wish to stay?" His voice was cold and uncaring. She shook her head fiercely and ran to him. He took her to the balcony and she hopped on his back. In the middle of jumping off she figured she could use her wings.

She surprised him and took flight with him in her arms. She held on by his waist and he looked annoyed. "Woman I suggest you put me down." She giggled.

"And let you fall a bazillion feet to the ground? I don't think so…." She waited for him to say his name.

He didn't give it to her until she threatened to let go. "Hiei." He said in irritation.

"Alright, Hiei." She landed in a clearing and put Hiei down. "Who sent you?" She appeared in front of him to his amazement and hers alike. Whoa, I did it again! Another weird power thingy! She thought to herself. Hiei just figured she was threatening him.

He pulled out his katana and pushed her up against a tree. He looked into her eyes. He was surprised at what he saw; Silver with blue lining as eyes for one second and the next a dark lonely blue. He snapped out of it and put his katana to her throat. He leaned up against her to her ear and whispered coldly. "Was that a threat, Kagome." She replied back.

"No." She wriggled under him which caused him some arousal. Kagome noticed this and mentally smirked. She played `miss innocent' and wriggled some more making him whimper.

He never let himself loose it like that! How could he let out such a groan?! Control yourself you fool! He let her go and she smirked. She spoke, "Guess you found out what I was trying to do huh?" He looked at her for a minute then spoke.

"Hn." Was his only reply.

"Who sent you?" She crossed her arms.

"Your friends. They are searching for you. I know where they are." Kagome smiled.

She walked over and pointed to her back, he hopped on hesitantly though, and they were off.

****WITH SESSY****

Kurama decided to open a link to Hiei to find him. Sesshomaru and Yusuke waited patiently.

::::Hiei?::::

||||I have her. We are traveling back to the camp.||||

::::I see.:::: Kurama opened his eyes. "They are at camp Yusuke. Sesshomaru, I cannot allow you to take Princess Kagome by order of Prince Koenma of the Reikai.(sp?)"

Sesshomaru looked shocked. "Princess? Kagome is not a princess. What do you speak of?"

Kurama cleared his throat. "She is Princess Kagome of the `Vixen Empire', daughter of Lord Shishio (made it up!) and Lady Kora (Made it up!)" Sesshomaru's eyes widened but turned unmoving again.

"You tell me now, that I have kidnapped the daughter of some of the two strongest beings alive?" Sesshomaru asked.

Kurama nodded along with Yusuke. "And we must leave now." They bowed and left.
