Chapter 9 `Free at Last! Maybe a Little to Free'

Kagome put her hands up as if it would stop Naraku from pouncing her and let out `The Siren's Scream' (It is the yell of a siren of course, I just wanted to give it a name).

Naraku tumbled onto the floor and lay sleepily on the floor. Kagome kept screaming. She didn't stop until Kagura came into the room and a dead <THUMP!> could be heard. (She isn't dead just unconscious)

Kagome's eyes slowly opened and her hands covered her mouth in shock and wonder…..

Kagura and Naraku lay unconscious on the floor. Did I do that!? No way!? The scream! Oh KAMI!!!!! Kagome's eyes widened to about the size of her head! And her mouth twitched in a weird way……

So…..for the next 15 minutes Kagome sat there and during these 15 minutes if she saw Naraku's fingers move she would squeal and then stomp on them……Thus, him not moving anymore…..

*The others are still searching for her in the forest and stuff*

She finally stood up (isn't it a wonder Kanna hasn't come yet? We will just say she saw it all in her mirror) and slowly and quietly walked to the door and over the sleeping bodies on the floor. She snuck away and ran into the dark hallways…..

She became lost in the halls….

She thought. Would Kanna help me? She sucked in a deep breath. She whispered in the darkness, "Kanna, I know you can see me in your mirror, will you help me get out?? Please?" Kagome waited…..and waited……still waiting……Okay, is she coming or what!?

Suddenly a quiet voice (female) startled Kagome making her jump out of fright. "Kagome, come please…." It was small and monotone but innocent in its own way.

Kagome turned around and saw Kanna (mirror faced down). She whispered. "Oh! There you are! What took you?" Kagome waited and when Kanna didn't say anything she smiled at her. "Okay, well thank you." Kagome followed Kanna down the halls when she began walking.

About 15 minutes later they came to large doors and walked out. Kagome gasped as sunlight poured from the sky. She quickly shielded her eyes and turned around to thank Kanna but she was gone. "Oh!" Kagome said.

Kagome looked ahead and saw nothing but trees. Kagome sweat dropped. I guess this means I'll fly! She looked up and smiled at the birds and trees. She closed her eyes and flapped her wings, she flew.

Kagome opened her eyes and she was looking ahead at a bunch of dots in the air….wait. THE GUYS!!!! Kagome screamed in her mind. She flew as fast as she could and in seconds she was flying before her friends and smiling.

"KAGOME!!!!" They all shouted (accept Inuyasha, Hiei, and Kurama because they are on the ground running (but they stopped) after Kagome)

"GUYS!!!" She shouted back! Smiles and hugs were swapped and they all landed in a bundle of joy at the return of their friend!

"How did you ever escape Lady Kagome!?" Miroku asked!

"Kagome how did you make it!?" Sango shouted!

"Kaa-san are you okay!?" Shippou cried!

"You're still in a robe…." Kagome blushed and punched Yusuke for that last comment.

"Yeah….*drool*" Kagome's eyebrow twitched this time and Kuwabara earned a new bump in the head.

The others appeared walking into this scene, Inuyasha smirking and Hiei and Kurama growling.

Did you like it!? Did it suck ass!? I accept flames now! I would appreciate 5 reviews please!! I will kill Kikyo and I think this one will be a Kurama/Hiei/Kagome!!!! I like that pairing! They can all be together happily ever after! No hearts broken! Once again, sorry, I had MAJOR writers block!!!! Well I hoped this was good! For those of you that have read my OTHER stories please tell me which one I should update next!!!! JA!!!
