When Yusuke woke up, he was greeted by the ceiling of one of the Rekai offices and Kuwabara's ugly face.
"GAH! Get out of my face Kuwabara! And what happened?" Yusuke shouted while shoving Kuwabara out of his way so he could sit up.
"Hn, we fought the ghost of Kagura and she made a deal with us."

I was watching Yusuke cry over Kagome's body. All of a sudden behind Yusuke appeared Kagura, who used her Blades of Wind to knock him out. I jumped at her and kept blocking her attacks with my own. I was getting sick of the ghost, she had killed my two best friends and the woman I loved.
"Wench! Just let us go and we may be able to find a way to help you! I know of an artifact that can bring you back to life."
"Why should I listen to you? You are male and all men lie."
"I don't."
"Alright I will let you go, and if you can find a way to help me I will give you the souls of your friends back."

"How are we going to help her?"
"The only way to help her is to finish the Shikon no Tama. So we will have to go back to the past and help defeat Naraku. Kagome told us they were the only two groups with jewel shards left."

Hiei, Yusuke, Boton, and Kuwabara were all at the well. They had told Kagome and Kurama's parents that they were all working on a project for school, so they wouldn't be home for a few days.
"Are we all ready?" said Boton
"Yeah."
"Here goes nothing."
"Hn."
And with that they all jumped into the well.

This chapter and all the rest are by me.
Kagome and Yusuke are cousins. They know each others stories, as do the rest of the groups. The YYH group hadn't helped them before now because Kagome said they hadn't needed it. But they were going to help in the final fight. So yes the IY group does know of them. Kagome didn't have the shards on her at Kagura's haunted house, she had left them at home. Kagura was never part of Naraku, in fact Kagura's mate was a descendant of Naraku's.
