Chapter 8. "Getting her back"
*Damn it! why des he have to come along! the twerp and his gang is enough already!!!* Inu Yasha thought to himself as he eyed Sesshomaru flying overhead, while he was hopping from tree to tree, *I don't care if he comes or not, as long as he gets out of the way and Kagome gets saved.* after that he leaped far ahead of everyone. Knowing that Sesshomaru was on his side he knew it would be a lot of help, but being the stubborn type he doesn't like to admit it, even in his head.
"We're here." Sango stated, they all stopped in front of a huge mountain, "this place is called the Higashi-bakemono, Ryozo's resting place."
"Damn...it's huge." Kuwabara commented.
"Hm. I don't know if he's in there, I can't get a wiff of anything if I don't know what he smells like..." Inu Yasha said.
"He is lurking deep inside the abundance...I can sense it." Sesshomaru uttered narrowing his eyes.
"Wait a minute..." Inu Yasha walked over to his older half brother, "how do YOU know of his scent?"
"I have encountered Ryozo before, we fought."
"And you lost??" Inu Yasha was suprised, so was everyone. It seemed like the only explanation since Ryozo was still alive.
"No, he yeilded and abandonded the fight."
"ooOOOooo....." they all said.
"Feh, don't scare me and tell me your that weak.."
Sesshomaru glared back at him, "It would be wise if you do not speak for the rest of the journey."
"I can say whatever I want!!" Inu Yasha retorted, "go ahead and try to stop me! I'll just keep talking!"
"If you wish.." Sesshomaru raised his only hand.
"WhOA whoa!! jesus guys! we're on the same side remember!" Kuwabara reminded.
"Hai, for now.." Sesshomaru withdrew his hand and continued walking ahead.
"Humph, jackass..." Inu Yasha mumbled.
An abrupt earthquake shook them all, two giant demons arose from the earth and roared at them.
Sesshomaru looked up, "I do not have time for this.." his eyes widened and turned red, wind blew fiercely surrounding him, soon his whole body turned to light and expanded to a shape of a giant dog demon.
They all stood back.
"Incredible!" Miroku gasped.
"He's just another giant demon...so what?" Hiei said.
"Not just an ordinary demon...Hiei, have you ever encountered a demon who has two forms? his own and his full demon form?" Kurama asked, "Sesshomaru is no ordinary demon, only those of royalty can transform because of their natrual blood."
"Hn."
"Feh! whatever! it's not the first time you've seen him fight so don't be surprised." Inu Yasha looked up at the inu youkai, "Hey Sesshomaru!! can you hurry it up! we don't have all day ya know!"
Sesshomaru looked back down at Inu Yasha and ignored him, he attacked with his claws, and the two demons fell back, Sesshomaru spit out his poison gas. Inu Yasha and the rest had just enough time to get out of the way.
"Hey!" Inu Yasha shouted, "What the hell are you doing?! warn us before you do that next time ya asshole!!" Sesshomaru growled in response.

"Argh! ARGH!!! damned ropes! what are they made out of?! steel?!!!" Kagome yelled, trying to free herself.
"hmhmhm....no, if it was steel you would have tore them apart easily." Ryozo once again submerged from the shadows, "it is forged with magic, to keep you locked, and so that you cannot use any of your youki...incase you do something."
"T.T...that's nice.......and do you have to do that ALL the time?"
"Do what?"
"Suddenly appear from somewhere, how long have you been there anyway?"
"A while," he pat her back, "come now. They are here."
"Who here?"
"Your companions" He made her get up and walk along with him.
"Companions?...Inu Yasha..." Kagome whispered.
"Him ,AND his brother are looking for you too."
"b-brother?" o.o
He saw her reaction blushing madly, then chuckled, "My dear lady Kagome....it will be alright, once the jewel is mine, then you can go free."
"What are you talking about?! Once you have the jewel, nothing with go free!"
"Hm, you predict too soon....it might, or might not happen."
"Humph!" Kagome averted from him and kept on walking.
Ryozo took her to a balcony, Kagome gasped at the scene of destruction, Sesshomaru was in his full dog youkai form, Inu Yasha was swinging Tetsusaiga around, Kurama was using rose whip and other plants, Hiei sliced every demon that got in his way, Sango just caught her boomerang, Miroku used his staff since he could not use the wind tunnel, the demons were too large for him to handle, and Kazuma...well, he put some effort in it at least ^^'
"*gasp* what are you doing?!" Kagome yelled, then turned to Ryozo, "Stop it!! why are you attacking them?!!"
"They are the ones who attacked my dwelling first, I only ordered my puppets to defend the dome." he explained.
"that's a lie!!"
"Is it?...I only brought you here outside to exchange you, for the jewel..."
"Which was a bad mistake!" Kagome then took a deep breath, "INU YASHA!!!! SESSHOMARU!!! KURAMA!!! YUSUKE!! SANGO!!! MIROKU!! HIEI!!" Ryozo lifted his eyebrow, standing there watching her yell.
"WH-WHat about m-me?!!?!" Kuwabara dropped his mouth. Everyone, as they always do, ignored him. (how sad^^)
"Th-that's Kagome!!" Inu Yasha shouted, Sesshomaru lowered his head and leaped for the balcony, but another demon stood in his way, he barked loudy at the beast, it was prepared for a fight. Inu Yasha jumped ontop of his brother's back, Sesshomaru didn't seem to mind, "I'm coming Kagome!!" he yelled.
"Good! cause I don't like it here!" she yelled back down.
"Hm, what a pity then." Ryozo shrugged, "I really enjoyed your company here, I was thinking about keeping you."
"In your dreams you jerk!!" Kagome screamed at him. Ryozo grabbed her arm and pulled her close to his side, just right when Inu Yasha jumped aboard.
"Give her back bastard! and don't touch her!" He pointed Tetsuisaga at the puppet master.
"Only if you have what I want."
"Aye! as much as I want to get out of here, don't do it Inu Yasha! It's not worth it! do you know what he could do with that?!" Kagome said.
"Yeah, I know, "Inu Yasha replied, "but I have to.." he took the jewel from his firerat coat and held t in his palm.
"Inu Yasha.." Kagome breathed.
Suddenly, a yellow whip lashed out in front of Inu Yasha, he dropped the jewel, Sesshomaru(in his normal form) jumped between Inu Yasha and Ryozo.
"Why if it isn't the new western lord..." Ryozo grinned, Sesshomaru gaped cautiously at him.
"Se-s-s-s-Sesshomaru!" Kagome gasped for air, seeing them two in the same place made it hard to inhale the air around her.
"Is there something wrong my dear?" Ryozo asked frowning at her reaction.
"Y-yes! you! you planned this out didn't you!?"
T.T' , "excuse me?"
"Them two! and me! and the things that will do to me!!!"
"...?"
"Oh god..I....I can't...." she took one more light breath, and then fell on the ground.
Everyone huddled around the passed out demoness, "Ka...gome?" Inu Yasha asked.
"Oh my, I think she fainted."Ryozo said.
"It's only obvious." Sesshomaru looked over to Ryozo.
"So what now?"Inu Yasha looked at the both of them.
"The girl is unconsious, what do you think?" Ryozo exaggerated, then lifted her Kagome up, and setted her in the corner of the room, then turned back to the two brothers, "Now, where were we?"
"Oh right,...Give me back Kagome!" Inu Yasha abruptly yelled.
Sesshomaru slapped his forehead, "You idiot, we just missed our chance." Sesshomaru scolded.
"What?! then why didn't you tell me before?!"
"Now now, it's better to play fair. I really don't like hurting women, especially this one...so it would be better if you hand me the jewel right now."
"Give her back first you ass!" Inu Yasha yelled.
"I WILL kill her.." Ryozo threathened, his expression grew repulsive, and cold.
"We shall see about that." Sesshomaru almost got him with his whip, but Ryozo dodged, then appeared floating near the ceiling. Again Sesshomaru attacked, but this time with his poison claw, Ryozo appeared in the corner. Sesshomaru's poison melted the wall and there was a big hole in the middle of the room.
Ryozo pouted, "I hope your going to fix that." Sesshomaru ignored his request and aimed for him, Ryozo defended himself with a sword that appeared in his hand and struck back, causes Sesshomaru to push backwards a bit. Indeed Ryozo was equal in his puppet mastery and his strength. He was not like Naraku, he actually fought without a decoy.
Inu Yasha couldn't stand by and watch, he tried to pick Kagome up but his hand were shocked making him drop to his knees.
"Careful." Ryozo noted as his eyes rolled towards Inu Yasha while fighting Sesshomaru off, "it's magic, if you stayed there long enough you would have been killed."
"Shut up!.."Inu Yasha took the hilt of Tetsuisaga and weakly stood up, he shook his head to recover from the strong electrical pulse. He had his energy to charge towards Ryozo and Sesshomaru interrupting their battle.
"Stay out of this little brother." Sesshomaru said.
"Back off! I'm doing this for Kagome!"
"Hai, let me settle the score with Sesshomaru-sama, then you may have your turn." Ryozo said.
"No! I wanted to rip you to pieces ever since I got here!"
"I am getting very impatient with you hanyou!" Ryozo rose his voice, his red pupils grew bigger until his eyes were al glowing red, then a thing flew out of Ryozo's kimono sleeve and bolted past Inu Yasha taking the Tetsuisaga from his grasp. It yelped when the fang burned it's claws, Tetsuisaga dropped and slid near the edge. Inu Yasha was too slow to react to just what happened and was caught off guard .Ryozo swiped at him, his nails digging into Inu Yasha's flesh capturing every detail of his blood spilling out. Inu Yasha fell back with claw marks all over his body in just that one attack. Sesshomaru swung Tokijin at Ryozo, this time Ryozo got cut on his chest a bit.
"Enough, your fight is with me. Not him." He said solid.
"There won't be a fight if he keeps intruding." Ryozo stated.
Sesshomaru negleted the puppt master and turned to Inu Yasha on the floor, "Inu Yasha, do not rest, get up halfling."
"Sh-shut up!.." his knees bent stuggling to get up, but he was too weak, then he caught sight of Tetsuisaga just a few yards away on the floor. The little demon was still there, guarding the sword glaring back at him, "N-n-no! don't you dare you little bastard!" Inu Yasha warned.
It's grin spread wider, it scooted closer to the Tetsuisaga, and then....Inu Yasha's birthright sword fell down the balcony, "NO!" Inu Yasha yelled, "Argh! I'll gonna get you!" he growled, the little demon squeaked and in a flash retreated behind it's master.
"Do not threaten my pet." Ryozo said sternly.
"Well don't threaten Kagome then!" Inu Yasha retorted.
"Kagome is-....she..where is she?" Ryozo realized.
"What do you-"Inu Yasha turned to look at the corner, Kagome was gone.
"She...has gone." Sesshomaru wondered too.
Inu Yasha then looked around his Kimono, touching his clothing searching for something, "Th-the jewel! it's gone! I don't have it!" he gasped.
"What?...where did you put it." Sesshomaru demanded.
"Kagome.." Ryozo whispered.

"*pant pant pant*...Damn! I thought they *gasp* would have *gasp* noticed by now!" Kagome said to herself as she kelt running with her hands still tied, and the Shikon jewel in her palm, "and I can't believe! *pant* that Inu Yasha *pant* didn't notice! *pant* that I took it!" thenstared ahead, *Now to find The rest of the gang* Kagome didn't notice that she was heading far away from the place, far away from the battle, far far away. That she missed her friends who were still back at the castle fighting the puppet master's demons. Kagome found a way out back, it was full of trees, so she couldn't find her way. It took Kagome a few minutes to realize that she as going the wrong way and that she was lost. Kagome slowed down and sat by a tree gasping for air. "Oh god...so this is what a few days of no PE can do to you.."
"Kagome!" she heard someone yell.
"I-it's Sess-" he mouth was covered and she was drawn into the bushes, she stuggled to get free but the grip was strong, plus she didn't have any of her youki so it made it impossible.

That she missed her friends who were still back at the castle fighting the puppet master's demons. Kagome found a way out back, it was full of trees, so she couldn't find her way. It took Kagome a few minutes to realize that she as going the wrong way and that she was lost. Kagome slowed down and sat by a tree gasping for air. "Oh god...so this is what a few days of no PE can do to you.."
"Kagome!" she heard someone yell.
"I-it's Sess-" he mouth was covered and she was drawn into the bushes, she stuggled to get free but the grip was strong, plus she didn't have any of her youki so it made it impossible.
