Please be gentle, this is my first posting ever. If I get good turn out and reviews I may think of posting more fics I have written. Please no angry flames, I will except constructive criticism. Tear my stories apart and then try to tear me down and you will be ignored. I hope you all enjoy.

Genkai stood in the door way of her living room and sighed heavily. She turned to Yukina who looked over each boy nervously. They had really gotten thier asses kicked this time. Koenma had sent them to retrieve a weapon that the old fool Toutou-sai had just recently made and had stolen from him. It was dangerous in the wrong hands. They were grateful thought that so far the person that had stolen it could not find any one that could use it besides the one it was made for and so far here was no way in hell she would use it for the thief's purpose. Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama, Kuwabara, Touya and Jin all laid out in her living room. Three out of the six were unconscious but should wake soon, the other three were sleeping to help quicken the healing process. Yusuke, Hiei and Touya had taken the heaviest hits and had yet to wake. Kurama, Kuwabara and Jin had taken sever hits too but had arrived dragging the others.

Genkai moved to Yusuke’s side and pulled out the communicator. As she did her mind continued to wander. Yusuke had come home over a year ago. He had tried to patch things up with Kayko, he even managed to graduate High school some how. He didn’t do so well with Kayko thought. During his absents she had grown closer to Kuwabara the two were engaged now. Yusuke held no hard feelings, he couldn’t. It had hurt him greatly Genkai know it had, but he could never be who she wanted him to. Eventually he moved on, thought he never had a serious relationship. Half a year after the Makai Tournament Hiei returned. Mukuro grew tired of trying to get him to mate her and released him from his position by her side. When Hiei had returned Koenma finally admitted that he needed his old team again. He agreed to pay them and allow Touya and Jin to join. A few months before Hiei returned Kurama, Kuwabara and Yusuke had opened a Dojo. Kurama taught most of the classes, Yusuke had to go between Makai and Here. Though he was no longer ruling he was still a Lord and helped Enki out a lot. The biggest thing Koenma had them do was handle the harder cases that his new teams, that the old team trained constantly, couldn’t handle. Or one of them would go with one of the new teams to a harder case and help.

That was what had happened this time. Koenma had gotten bad information and sent in a new team. The team never came home alive, in fact they barely came home in enough pieces to know that it was the team. From there he had sent in the old team. They had come back severally injured. Genkai shook her head and opened the communicator. She knew what was going to happen next. Koenma was going to have to call in the triplets, his cousins and her granddaughters. This was going to get messy. Touya, Kurama, Yusuke, Jin and Hiei were dominate males. Though the others were submissive to Yusuke they were not going to be easy on the triplets. The triplets were female and bowed to no one. Heads and fist were gonna knock.

Botan’s cheery face popped up on the screen but quickly fell when she saw Genkai and how grim she was.

“Genkai-sama? What’s happened to the boys?” Genkai glanced over the communicator to the boys some were starting to wake. She glanced back to the screen.

“You and Koenma better get here. Thier all alive but didn’t show up in very good shape.” She answered quickly. Botan nodded, Genkai closed the communicator with a click ending the conversation.

Genkai turned her attention back to the group. Yukina had healed any life threaten injuries but some of them still had bad injuries that need to be healed soon. Yukina was far to drained from what she had already done to do any more healing for a while. Botan will have to help and they may need one of her granddaughters help too. Soon Kuwabara, Jin and Kurama were up. Yukina quickly returned and served them all some soup and water to help. Kurama looked over at the other three and winced. Yusuke still had a nasty wound on his shoulder. A hole the size of a small fist. Going threw his right shoulder, he had deep lacerations on his legs, both upper tights. Touya had some nasty cuts on his face, a bad cut on his head in the back, he had a broken arm, his right one. That wasn’t good he’d need that to fight with his ice katana. Hiei was laying not far away. They could see where the blood had pooled and caused a bruise from internal bleeding in his abdomen. He had a broken leg, again not good he kinda needed that leg for his speed let alone moving around at all.

Soon after the first three woke Hiei and Yusuke began to stir. Yusuke woke first.

“Damnit as soon as we’re all better I’m so going to slowly torture that ass hole to death, then Koenma’s gonna bring him back and repeat the process till I’m happy.” Kurama shook his head at him, Jin and Kuwabara laughed at him and Genkai groaned. Hiei opened his eyes and glared at him but quickly looked over at Touya then back to Genkai and Yukina.

“He has not woken yet?” Everyone’s eyes turned to Touya. Yukina looked ready to cry her voice wavered as she spoke.

“No he has yet to wake.” Hiei nodded and Botan took that moment to portal her and Koenma in. Botan stepped out first and gasp at the sight. Quickly followed by Koenma who’s mouth fell open and that stupid pacifier hit the floor.

“Botan, heal Touya he is the worst and has yet to wake.” She closed her mouth at Genkai’s command and moved forward quickly pouring healing energy into Touya. His eyes fluttered open and he looked around. Nodding to the rest he sat up with Botan’s help and took the soup and water Yukina gave him, along with Yusuke and Hiei. Koenma eyed them all.

“What happened?” He questioned he was afraid to know. Kurama sighed and looked at him.

“We went to were the last team had fought them. They were waiting, it was an ambush. Who ever this is they have an unlimited amount of lesser Youkai at there disposal. We never even got a good look at the main youkai leading the ambush they moved too quickly.” Koenma nodded and Genkai moved in from the hallway doorway.

“Call the triplets.” Koenma jumped at her voice and spun around to face her mouth open to protest. Genkai waved a hand at him in a silencing motion.

“Call the triplets. The mirror was made for one of them. They may be able to call it to them. Thier the best. Better then the Reikai tantei.” Yusuke yelled at that. Genkai ignored him. “The Tantei will need thier help.” Koenma looked ready to argue then slowly nodded and pulled out a communicator the Tantei had never seen. He opened it and they could hear ringing.
