Chapter one: Time travel is painfull
The red-haired teen fell into the void created by the demon not to far from him and into a colorfull garden filled with beautifull flowers. The pittifull blooms provided no soft landing for the young male, causing him to land with a sickining crunch as his leg caught all of his weight under him. He barley registered his suroundings and tried to crawl towards the castle not too far away, only to slip into unconsciousness the colorfull suroundings blanking into darkness.
"Lord Sesshomaru, Lord Sesshomaru!" the young human cried, running up to the demon lord she held in high respect. "What is it Rin?" he questioned, looking down with love at the small child he had claimed as his own. "Theres a lady in the flowers, I think she's hurt bad. Her leg is all funny splayed..." She explained and Sesshomaru nodded. "Find Jaken and tell him to bring the healer to my rooms. Then go play somewhere else, okay?" he stated softly, but kindly, for human children were so easy to upset. She nodded and darted off with speed that put some demon children to shame. Shaking his head and smiling softly to himself, he walked to the outside gardens to see the red-haired teen in the flower bed. Sniffing slightly, his first thought was that a female kitsune had found her way into his gardens but a second sniff told him that this one was defanitly male, and not a demon as far as the inu-lord could tell. 'He smells kitsune...but he's not. Probaly a botanist or something..." he thought, carefully picking the teens crumpled form up. The younger male roused slightly, but only fell back into unconsciousness after a few seconds, this body wasn't used to such pain. Sesshomaru shook his head slightly and carried the red-head to his room where the healer waited. The inu-lord had long ago given up on what gender the slender healer was, for their scent left no clue, nor did their loose, flowing clothes. "Brought me another little one to raise up, didn't ya my lord?" the healer teased, their voice sounding flaunting and seductive wich made the demon lord think, out of habit, that the skilled cleric was a male, with likings of his own gender. "Or is this pretty thing going to your mate? Can I play with her first?" now the voice sounded light and giggily, making the demon lord once again think out of habit, that the demon was a female. "He's no she..." he mused, shaking his head. "Oh...." now the voice sounded neutral and Sesshomaru gave up. "I'll fix him up in a hurry, just don't go breaking him again, ya hear?" once again, the female voice and he sighed. "Avrie...just make him better please...and stop confusing me." he sighed and Avrie just made a noise that was a cross between a giggle and a chuckle, a eeire sound endeed. "Shoo then. I need room to work." Avrie mused, ushering the demon lord out of his own room, much to the delight of Rin. "Is the lady going to be okay?" she questioned and Sesshomaru smiled softly at the young child. "He is going to be just fine...unless Avrie breaks him instead of healing him." he teased and Rin giggled. "So...the lady was a lord?" she questioned and Sesshomaru nodded. Rin giggled again and reached up to grab ahold of her lord's hand and led him back out to the gardens to occupy his mind. She may have been young, but she could reconize when two people liked each other, and it would do her lord no good to brood around while the confusing healer fixed the young male up. Yay, Lord Sesshomaru would finaly have a mate, and she would have a mommy! (I had to do it...I had to...)
The ever elusive healer giggled as s/he led the inu-lord back into his rooms. "There, just don't jolt him around much, the bones need to heal. Break him, I break you!" now the voice was male again and Sesshomaru was tempted to strip the healer to find out their gender, but Rin was hovering around the teen's head, holding a few flowers in her hands. "Why don't you put that in the vase and fill it with water so he'll have something pretty to look at when he wakes." Sesshomaru softly stated and Rin giggled as she carefully grabbed the vase. "You mean he doesn't allready?" Avrie teased and Sesshomaru shook his head, rolling his eyes softly. Rin the dashed out of the room into the adjoning bathroom and filled the vase. "Mnhuhghhh..." the redhaired teen groaned out as he slowly opened his eyes and used his arms to push himself up slightly. "Whoa now Red, lay back down, you'll never get well that way." Avrie teased, gently pushing the male back down to the bed. "Where...." he mannaged to mumbled out as Rin returned with the vase and a glass of water, offering the second to the red-head, who graciously acepted it before placing the vase, now full of her mini-boquet. "You are in my castle, in the western lands. I am Lord Sesshomaru, this is my ward Rin and that is the healer Avrie." Sesshomaru explained and the teen nodded softly as he drank the water. "I'm Ku...Shuichi." he offred, quickly using his human name, reconizing the inu-lord for a demon. "Ku-shuichi?" Rin mused and Shuichi shook his head. "Just Shuichi..." he mumbled weakly and Avrie was quick to offer him some broth. He sat up again, this time at the healers bidding and quietly ate the soup, very aware of the eyes around him. "Lord Sesshomaru...can we keep him?" Rin questioned and Sesshomaru's amber eyes widened. Avrie was less dignified with her/his reaction, bending over laughing. "He has his own free will, though he should stay till his leg heals and his strength returns." Sesshomaru replied and Shuichi thanked him with a soft smile that lit up the teens pale face. "Thank you, Lord Sesshomaru." Shuichi thanked, still smiling softly at the demon lord, the fox part of his mind purring with pleasure. Kurama had heard the inu-lord was beautifull, but the stories were severe understatements. Sesshomaru was absolutly stunning, no words even the flirtatious fox could think of even came close to the demon's beauty. Smiling again, this time with his kitsune charm, Shuichi brushed his red bangs out of his emerald green eyes. "It is no problem. I could scarecly leave you to die out in my gardens. It wouldn't be good for the flowers." It was hard to tell if the inu was teasing or not, but Rin giggled. Shuichi smiled again and streached carefully, making sure all his muscles worked right. 'It seems the healer knows what she...he is doing.' he thought, for the healers gender eluded even is senses. 'Well, theres always one way to find out.' he purred in his mind and shook his head of that thought. He had to act human now, for he couldn't blow his cover. Now to figure out where he was exactly. "Excuse me Lord Sesshomaru, but where exactly is your castle?" he questioned inocently enough and the inu tilted his head slightly as if in thougth. "In the westren lands of Japan, near the Kiso river." the inu-lord replied and the red-head nodded. "Do you think we could send word to Tokyo? My mother will be worring about me..." he questioned softly and the demon lord blinked. "Tokyo???" he questioned, baffled slightly. Shuichi blinked slightly and shook his head. "What year is it?" he questioned, faking confusion...well not all fake. The lord held himself up a little more and named the year, some five hundred years in the past. Shuichi blinked and cursed mentaly. Somehow he had landed in the past. He needed to get home, No doubt his fire-demon friend would be tearing up every place to find him, Hiei worried like that. "Your clothes...there simular to the human girl my disgrace of a half-brother hangs about with...are you from the same time?" the lord questioned, which made the red-head look at the demon with confusion obvious in his face. Sesshomaru sighed and shook his head. He'd have to find that mutt and ask the girl about this male... though he wished the red-head would stay. Shaking his head of the thought, making the red haired male look at him with an inquizive glance. "Rin, go find Jaken and tell him to go find my...brother and bring him and the girl here." the lord comanded and the young girl nodded before rushing off. Avrie giggled and dissapeared out of the room, leaving the two alone. "My... brother has a human companion from the future. I think she comes down a well..." Sesshomaru offered and Shuichi nodded, time-warps existed in some places, though they were hard to find. Shuichi yawned slighty after the explination and the lord smiled softly. "Go back to sleep Shuichi, and if you need anything just ring that bell and one of the servents will assist you. Or if you want me, just ask one of them to come get me." the inu lord stated softly and Shuichi nodded sleepily. The regal inu wasn't as cold hearted as most demons thought, that was the sleepy teens relization before he snuggled back into the covers that strongly smelled of an inu-male and his sleepy mind barely registered that this was the inu-lords bed before he fell promptly asleep. The tall demon smiled softly before brushing hair out of the sleeping teens face before walking out quietly, ignoring the urdge to kiss the young male.
"Baka fox!" the short male growled and the raven haired teen patted his shoulder. The demon growled and the youkai blinked slightly, the ice-apperation sure was edgy since Kurama had gone missing. "He could be anywhere Hiei...could be out thieving or pillaging a village." Yusuke mused and Hiei snorted. "Not without me." was the short, sharp reply and the carrot top brushed his hair back with his hand. "Could be with some chick." he offered and Hiei glared. "Not his style." was the small demons retort and only the raven-haired male got that remark and snickered, while the carrot top was clueless. "You mean Kurama's...you know." Yusuke mused, flipping his hand slightly. Hiei hn-ed and Yusuke snickered again. "You two?" he questioned and Hiei shook his head. "Friends only." he replied and the poor Kuwabara was still lost. Yusuke sighed and shook his head. "Lets go look some more. Maybe babyface knows something." he stated, motioning a random direction. Hiei hn-ed again and followed the teen to the makai relm.
"Inuyasha!" Shippu yelled into the sleepy hanyou's ear and the ears twitched as the half-breed woke up. "Whad you want runt?" he growled and the young kitsune motioned to the toad demon. "Jaken's here." he mused and Inuyasha growled. "Whad you want toad?" he growled, fingering his Tensusaiga's hilt. "Lord Sesshomaru requires you and the human girl at the casle. A human male was found in the gardens, and he's from her time." the toad explained and Inuyasha snorted. "Not intrested." he growled and that woke up Kagome. "Come on Inuyasha, do you realy want to leave a human in your brother's house?" the teen questioned and the hanyou snored before standing up. "Let's go then. Shippu, you stay and tell the two love birds when they wake, and don't follow us." he comanded, following the toad with the archer-girl behind him. The pair then followed the diligent toad back to the castle and were shown to the inu-lord. "This way." Sesshomaru coldly stated and the pair followed him to his room, where the red-head was still fast asleep. "Know him?" was the cold question and Kagome looked at the sleeping male. "Yeah, that's Shuichi, he goes to my school. All the girls fawn after him, they even have a fan club." she mused and the red-head woke up. "Mnh...Kagome?" the sleepy teen questioned, sitting up slowly. "Hey you!" she cooed, yep, she was in the fan club too. Inuyasha snorted and the red-head shook his head slightly. "May I have some paper, I need to write two notes?" he questioned and she dug through her backpack to get the teen some paper and a pencil. Thanking her with a nod, he quickly composed two notes. "Give this one to my mother, I wrote the adress on front and this one to Yusuke. Kaiko knows him." he added, handing her the two letters and curling back up in the furs, purring so softly that even the two demons couldn't hear him. He wanted to stay here till his leg healed, maybe longer. Kakome knodded and drug Inuyasha away. Sesshomaru blinked and questioned softly, "You're not going to return with them?" The fox-spirit shook his head softly before closing his emerald eyes, not trusting them not to wander along the inu's body. 'Down boy' he thought to himself, his yokai whinning at him to submit, but he had to play human for awhile. He couldn't risk how the lord would react knowing who he was acualy. After that thought, he quickly fell back asleep, barely noticing the inu once again brushing his hair out of his face.
