"Sora, sweetie! I'm glad you could make it!" Mifune greeted her daughter-in-law after letting her in. "And you brought friends! Wonderful!" She steps aside to let the visitors inside. Sora hands her the bouquet of flowers.
"Happy birthday mother!" Mifune gasped at the beautiful arrangement of lillies.
"These flowers are so beautiful! You shouldn't have gone through so much trouble."
"It was no trouble at all. I had a bit of help from my friend here. The one with the red hair is Kurama. He really knows his flowers. And to his right is his...anou..."
"His mate." Hiei stated. Sora gave him a sheepish grin.
"Yes, of course. I didn't want to assume anything." Kurama gave her a small smile.
"That is quite understandable."
"Please, make yourselves comfortable and enjoy yourselves." Mifune said to the new pair.
"You should sit, fox." Hiei said this as more of a command than a suggestion. Kurama gave his lover an annoyed look, but took his advice and sat on the couch in the living room.
Sora scanned the room and finds the usual crowd of people. "It seems that the party has already started."
Kouga and Celestine were by the bookshelf talking with each other. Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha were in the kitchen, on snack duty. Shishio and Aoji were no where to be seen. There was soft music playing in the background.
"Mother, where's Shishio and Aoji? I thought they would be here by now."
"I believe they're in the storage finding candles." Mifune answered.
"Finding candles my ass..." Sora said under her breath. Mifune turned towards Sora, confused.
"Did you say something sweetie?" Sora gave her a nervous grin.
"N-nothing mother." Sora took in a deep breath.
"SHISHIO!" All movement stopped, and anyone who didn't notice that Sora had arrived now knew she was here. Shishio came into the living room in a flash.
"Nee-chan?" Shishio's hair was a bit disheveled and his neck was covered in tiny hickeys.
"Did you find those candles yet?" Sora flashed a fake grin at her little brother. Shishio knew that sweetness was just an act.
"Uh...yeah we did." Shishio pulled out the candles from his pocket, which were slightly melting. Sora lifted an eyebrow and looked at Shishio, then at Aoji.
"<If you keep occupying my brother's mouth, I'll have to start charging you rent!!>" Aoji turned a new shade of red and bowed his head in acknowledgement.
"<Forgive me, my princess.>"
"Nee-chan, are you angry with me?" Sora's face became gentle as she looked into the sympathetic eyes of her brother. She sighed.
"No. But just...'play' on your own time." Sora stepped forward and hugged him. Shishio made sure not to squeeze to hard. Sesshoumaru wiped his hands on a towel, as did Inuyasha, and stepped towards the small group. Sora saw her husband approach and nearly leaped into his arms.
"I missed you so much!" Sesshoumaru's chest was absorbing the small sobs that came from his wife. He was used to the mood swings, at least adjusting to them accordingly.
"We've only last seen each other two hours ago." He stated while stroking her hair. She looked up into his amber orbs, but Sesshoumaru was surprised at the emotion on her face.
"THAT WAS A LONG TIME TO ME!" Her face faded from anger to sadness, and further buried her head in his chest.
"I'm glad you have your moodswings under control..." Hiei looked up at his fox from his seat on the floor. Kurama chuckled in response. Shishio looked towards the new guests.
"Are you friends of my sister?"
"Where are my manners!" Sora suddenly went from sad to happy in the blink of an eye. "The one on the couch is Kurama, and the one on the floor is Hiei, his mate. Kurama helped me pick out some flowers for mother earlier today. This is Sesshoumaru, my husband, Shishio, my little brother, his boyfriend, Aoji, my other little brother, Inuyasha, his husband and my older brother, Kouga, my father, Celestine, and I believe you've already met my mother, Mifune."
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Kurama stated. Hiei gave a slight nod of his head.
"Thank you for being so kind to my wife." Sesshoumaru wrapped his arms around Sora, placing his hands on her slightly buldged stomach.
"Sora-san has a big heart. She just met me today and she invited me to a celebration." Kurama added.
"Nee-sama is like that. I don't see how her heart fits inside her body." Inuyasha stated. Sora blushed.
"It fits perfectly fine. I wanted to repay Kurama for his generosity. Oh, Kurama, are you feeling better?" Kouga looked at the redhead closely.
"You're not feeling well?" he asked.
"No, I'm fine. Hiei can exaggerate at times-"
"You're carrying our kit, and it feeds on your energy. You need to conserve it, fox." Hiei interjected.
"Y-you're...with child??!" Inyasha stated. It was safe to say that everyone else was just as dumbfound about this new revelation.
"B-but how is that possible?!" Kouga stated, his mouth gaping open. Kurama looked towards Hiei with uncertainty. Hiei nodded his head in approval.
"Well, my body is different from most humans. I have the ability to carry children as any woman would. Where I come from, it is normal for a male to carry a child. If they don't have the ability for this, that can be easily fixed." Kurama rubbed his slowly growing stomach.
"Amazing..." Inuyasha stated. 'I wonder...'
"Um...well congratulations Kurama!" Shishio broke the silence in the room, even with the music playing.
"Thank you, Shishio."
After the introductions, the present openings, and dinner, the guest spread out throughout the apartment. Hiei mainly remained in his same spot. Kurama was outside on the balcony, looking out at the sunset. He heard a sliding door open and close behind him and looked towards the new guest.
"Hey, Kurama. Enjoying yourself?" Inuyasha asked as he leaned against the balcony railings.
"Absolutely." Kurama looked out into the sunset. "I haven't watched the sunset in a long time." Inuyasha tuened towards the orange and pink colors in the sky.
"I try to catch them when I can." Inuyasha stated. He turned his attention towards Kurama.
"How does it feel being pregnant?" Kurama looked towards Inuyasha with surprise.
"Despite the morning sickness and weird cravings, it's going pretty smoothly. I feel weak at times, but that is to be expected."
"Were you happy when you found out you were with child?"
"I was a little aprehensive at first, but I've wanted to have children for a while now."
"How will you deliver the child when it's time?" Kurama was puzzled by all the questions.
'Did he figure me out?' Inuyasha asked himself when Kurama took longer to answer the question.
"Mostly likely by a cesarian section. Inuyasha, I hope you don't mind my rudeness, but why all the questions? Is there something about my pregnancy that is bothering you?" Inuyasha turned slightly pink and looked away from Kurama's gaze.
"N-no, it's nothing like that. It's just...well...I shouldn't have bothered you..." Inuyasha turned to leave but Kurama caught his wrist.
"I didn't mean to offend you, Inuyasha. It's just that, you look like you could use a friend to talk to right now."
"Actually, there is something I wanted to ask you..."

Kouga stood in the kitchen and noticed that his husband went to talk to Kurama. He smiled.
'He needs more friends anyways.' He then watched his husband blushing and turning to head back inside, but Kurama had caught his wrist before he opened the door.
'Why is Inuyasha blushing?' he thought. He tried to read their lips. Kurama said something about Inuyasha needing a friend to talk to, and Kouga was going to lip-read what Inuyasha's answer was but he was distracted.
"Charak? Did you hear me?" Kouga turned towards the new voice.
"Uh, no sorry, Didi. What were you saying?"
"I said I'm going to head home. I've got work tomorrow." Celestine already had on his light blazer.
"Alright. Drive safely, I'll give you a call soon." Kouga looked back and saw Inuyasha and Kurama step back inside the condo. He saw his father to the door. After he closed it, he leaned against the door.
'He hardly blushes like that for me...' Kouga thought.

This seems kinda short, but I'll update soon though. I won't give a definite date, but there'll be another update before the month is out.
