Sesshoumaru narrowed his eyes, automatically recognizing the caller. His heart was racing at what the soulless thing said. He knew his wife better than anyone, and knew she wouldn't let herself be taken out by such slime. "How did you get Sora's cell phone?" He heard dark chuckling on the other end of the line.
"Like I said, she's dead; probably with a bullet hole to boot." He knew just what buttons to push on the young CEO. "Soon I'll take over that precious company of hers and do as I please. Not to mention a certain film will be the talk of all Japan." He heard the amber eyed male growled on the other end.
"Bastard." He hung up the phone. He stared at the cell phone, wanting to incinerate the object with his burning eyes. Kouga barely had time to dodge the object as Sesshoumaru fiercely threw it against the wall, shattering it.
Kouga saw the pieces left behind and turned to see Sesshoumaru run his hand through his bangs in frustration, holding them at the roots. To Kouga, it seems as if Sesshoumaru would rip them out of his head in a single tug. He then heard a quiet sniff coming from him and walked closer. He couldn't see his face too clearly because of Sesshoumaru's hand blocking his view. He placed a gentle hand onto the CEO's wrist and pulled it away, revealing moistened amber eyes. Kouga blinked in wonder, never seeing his brother-in-law display such an emotion.
Sesshoumaru looked at Kouga, revealing his vulnerability, tears that he tried to shove away. "I know she's still out there. She's not dead...they're not dead...they aren't..." His voice sounded weak and afraid. Kouga didn't hear the conversation, but he put together the evidence and figured out what was going on.
"Sora is out there, somewhere. She isn't gone." Kouga watched Sesshoumaru nod silently. He placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed it in reassurance. "Knowing her, she probably pulled off some miracle and got away."

Sora opened her sky blue eyes and looked around her surroundings and noticed she couldn't get a focus on them. It wasn't because her eyes were fuzzy, on the contrary, she could see fine. It was her surroundings that were out of focus. They were whizzing by her at alarming speeds. The last thing she remembered was the city below her, feeling weightless and a black blur around her. She looked up and her eyes widened. Everything made sense to her now.
"H-Hiei?" Her voice was cracked and she felt groggy. The hi-youkai looked down at her, then back toward his destination.
"I'm taking you to that ningen place with the medicine." He flitted over buildings and street lights, making his special package queasy.
"Too fast...sick..." Hiei looked down at the greenish woman.
"Don't you dare..."
They arrived at the emergancy entrance of the hospital. Hiei placed her onto a gurney and inspected her wound. Sora felt a pain in her side and whimpered. "Hurts..."
"It's just a graze. Nothing too serious--" He felt a spike in a familiar energy and his eyes widened. 'He's early.' He spotted an EMT close by. "YOU! NINGEN! Tend to her!" He flitted off in a flash, leaving behind a bewildered EMT. As he approached the woman, she quickly grabbed his collar and yanked him close.
"I WANT MY HUSBAND!" Sora began to sob against the puzzled worker, knowing he was going to have a long night.

Kurama practiced his breathing, holding Inuyasha's hand though each contraction. "Hiei...*pant* need *pant* him..." He let out another scream. "They getting closer!"
"Kurama, you have to concentrate! Look at me and focus on your breathing. That's it...there you go." Inuyasha stroked Kurama's hair soothingly. Kurama looked at Inuyasha in guilt.
"I'm so sorry..." Inuyasha shook his head softly.
"Don't worry about that. Worry about your daughter and getting through this, alright?" He saw the red head nod, and suddenly felt a breeze around them. He blinked, knowing Hiei wasn't there a second ago.
"Inari, thank you!" Kurama clutched onto Hiei's arm and tried to bite back another scream from his contraction. Hiei placed a hand over the hardened womb. He picked up his mate and left without a word. Inuyasha got up and closed the window quietly.
'Good luck, Kurama...' The raven haired male closed the door behind him and sat at the stairs that led to the upper level. He leaned against the wall and pulled out Kouga's wedding bands and all the memories came flooding back, hitting him like a cold wave. He covered his mouth to contain a sob, but couldn't. He felt like his entire world just crumbled, and no amount of super glue would put it back together.
He heard a frantic knock on the door, which made him jump. He quickly wiped his face free of tears and attempted to compose himself. He opened the door and was bombarded by a head of black hair.
"Ani! Kami, are you alright? I was worried about you." Shishio pulled away and examined his older brother's face, which he could clearly tell that he was crying. "That bastard. You would never cheat on him! I know it!"
Aoji stepped inside, surveying the situation. "I couldn't stop him from coming--"
"Damn right! My Ani needed me! You won't be alone..." Inuyasha was touched by the caring words of Shishio. He held onto him and sobbed endlessly onto his shoulder. Shishio rubbed soothing strokes into his back, providing kind words to the saddened male. "Ssshhh, it's okay, Ani. It's not your fault. Everything will be fine."
Inuyasha continued to sob and clutched tighter to the teen, letting himself be comforted. 'Nothing will ever be fine.'

Kouga's cell phone rang. He didn't recognize the number and raised and eyebrow, but answered it anyway. "Hello...no this is his brother-in law...WHAT?!" Sesshoumaru quickly turned to Kouga, curious about his outburst. "We'll be right there." He hung up and turned to Sesshoumaru. "Sora's been found. She's at the hospital downtown."
He wasted no time running out the door and grabbing his keys along the way. Kouga was right behind him in a flash. Sesshoumaru unlocked his car and turned to Kouga. "Call Shishio."

Aoji heard a strange sound coming from his pocket. He looked around, already in attack mode. Shishio looked at him with a curious look. "Your pocket, love. Answer my cell." Aoji fished around for the noisy object and opened it cautiously. He placed it into his ear, hoping he was doing it right.
"Hello? Kouga? What's... Closes phone abruptly and looks at the two. "We need to go to the hospital."
