Ok well i got a Question for you all, who shall Tayukina end up with, Kurama, Hiei, or Inuyasha? Heh, yea, im being Nice! Scary, Eh?

Kurama: It's quiet. ohh I know why, the loud mouth Hanyou is missing, where is he?

Nadiya: Dont ask me.

Hiei: Hn! Im betting he is .....

Kurama: Well,, i suggest you get on with the story Dear.

Chapter 6: Dead by Dawn

Tayukina turned her back to the guys, walking over to the stove, to have the eyes of both the Kitsune and fire youkai burning into her back. She didn't even notice as she began to make coffee, she opened the ice box to find some bagels, and figured that bagels would be nice. She turned, and started the coffee. she turned , and checked with Kurama, if it was ok, that she make bagels. "Of Course Tayukina, i wouldn't mind at all." she turned her eyes to Hiei, whom just offered a Hn!, but as she started to look away she saw his red orbs, soften some. She shook her head. she couldn't have seen that, could she?

Yusuke, Kuwabara, Sango,Miroku, and Naomi, walked into the room, there eyes showing the fact, that they weren't interested in sleep either. Yusuke pulled his arm around Naomi, and pulled her back against him. "Dont worry, babe. im here to protect you." she giggled as she noticed her brother glaring death glares at Yusuke, He still wasn't used to her, and the Detective as a item. Tayukina, was alerted to the extra people, and began to pull out nmore bagels. " Hey! Where is Inuyasha? " she asked, as she looked up noticing, he wasn't there.

Kurama glanced about the front room, in some hopes of locating him, when they heard a muffled Feh! echo from the dark, and in he stepped. " Yea, what are you looking at." he asked, threatening tones in his eyes. Kurama only ignore him, and stepped up beside Tayukina. "Need any help." she turned and felt her smile widen and her face, burning with a blush, that deepened as Kurama, pulled her hair from around her eyes. " No Kurama-san, thanks for asking." she couldn't get past the idea of Kurama's eyes when in stepped Hiei, his hands roamed past her hips to get a cup. she raised a eyebrow. she was in awwe as Hiei, had made contact with her.

Sango let out a small giggle and a ' I know who likes who' look clear on her face. Hiei shot her a cold stare, and in a instant, stepped up, placing the Katana, to her throat. "Hn! What do you mean?" he had read her mind with his jagan eye. she took a gulp then wrapped her hand around the blade of his katana. "Umm, if you dont mind, I'd love it, if you didn't put that there." she death glared as Miroku stepped up, raising his staff, in a protective manner." If you would please." Hiei turned around, crossing his arms. and sheathing his katana. "Hn!" Tayukina sighed as she brought the coffe mugs, and pot of coffee, to the table, sitting it down, as Kurama helped her , by brining in the bagels. " Here we go." Sango gave a annoyed expression as she sat down next to Miroku.

They were all soon joined by Inuyasha, who sat by Tayukina, trying to act casual, but his eyes kept returning to her , and to the ruby that she had now, laid on the table. Tay, found herself surrounded, Inuyasha on one side, Hiei on the other and Kurama, sat, across from her. she liked the attention, but she felt like a slut. she shook her head as he eyes dropped to the ruby. it was emmitting those lights again, and then, they were met with the sounds of screaming, and what appeared to be a black mist again, this time, it stared at them, and in a instant Naomi was picked up off her chair. Yusuke stood up, his fingers ready and raised into his spirit gun. Hiei was up in a flash and unsheathed his Katana, but the thing Naomi turned around, her eyes were blood red, her voice was to creepy for words, she uttered through, a shrilly voice. " Dead by dawn,,Dead by Dawn. soon we will take you one by one,, we will devour your soul." her voice deepened to that of the devils as she said the last three words.

As soon as the words were uttered she was dropped to the floor, her body bouncing of the tile, Hiei and Yusuke nearly collided, as they came to her side, Yusuke's eyes filled with concern as they rolled her over. ( Yes, i took that from the movie Evil Dead, no i dont Own it. ^^ good movie) She wasn't moving at first, then Hiei, upon closer inspection, saw her eye twitch. She slowly grabbed her head as she sat forth. "What the hell happened, all I know is one minute im there, and now, im here." she said pointing to the ground. Hiei nodded as he helped her up ,and handed her to a worried Yusuke. Tay came to Naomi's side and saw that she was ok

Everyone sank behind the table as there hears were racing, Hell! so was Hiei's. " What the hell did that thing inside MY GIRLFRIEND MEAN." Yusuke shouted out of the clear blue. Tayukina, looked at the ruby and wondered why it had , picked them. She felt hands fall on hers,and lifts her eyes to meet the color of Amber. Inuyasha was ginving her a worried look as she felt his fingers lock with hers. Inuyasha! was, touching me. she thought, as a blush crept up on her cheeks. She then saw his smile was sincere, this shocked her, and she swore she heard Hiei growl as he moved his chair in closer toward her. She shot her eyes to Sango, who in turn was actually smiling at her, even after all that happened. " Tay, that ruby, and this thing, im scared that you might have brought sumthing here with you.: she started shaking her head fast, her raven locks bouncing around her face.

She felt Inuyasha tighten his grip, and she swore she saw his smile fade as he pulled her closer. he looked as if he was about to kiss her. " Hey, Let me go, this thing had a hold on me the minute i picked it up,. and not to mention that, i think it wanted us all here." she said as she saw Hiei standing over Inuyasha with a scowl on his face. "Hn! Dont be so, arrogant Hanyou, the Onna, dont need you, acting crazy on her." she nearly had to catch herself she swore she was going to fall over. she turned her eyes to Inuyasha, and pulled her hand away. "Ok,, lets all discuss what this house, wants us for and how the Ruby has anything to do with it?" Kurama chimed in as he , gave Inuyasha a glare of his own, as he took his side by Tayukina.
