A young woman sat on her bed looking out her window as it rained. She didn't know how long she had been sitting there but at the moment she could care less. Someone she deeply cared about had been gone for six months straight, not even a word had been heard from him and she was worried.

'Does he know I'm still here waiting? Does he even care that I am?' she wondered as she sighed. She started playing with a lock of her long raven hair as she closed her chocolate brown eyes.

 

"Lay your head on my pillow

No one has to know what you are feeling

They had been going out for two years now. Two years after she returned from the feudal era for good. Two years after she was forced back to her time. Two years since the wish on the jewel. Two years since Inuyasha went to hell with Kikyo leaving behind a heart broken friend.

 

"I won't tell your secrets

Your secrets are safe with me

I will keep your secrets

Just think of me as the pages in your diary

I feel such a connection

She knew about what he did and why, they had met in a park after a demon had been attacking her. The demon was trying to take her innocence but he didn't let the demon do that. After that they ran into each other quite often accidental or not they didn't mind.

"Your secrets are safe with me

If you didn't know her name already she was Kagome Higurashi, former traveler to the past. She enjoyed the time she had at home, Kagome spent quite a bit of time with her family and making sure they knew just how much she loved them. Her younger brother, Souta, had taken quite a liking to the young man that saved her from the demon as did her mother and grandfather. She was now 21 and living in her apartment on her own, waiting for him. Unknown to her someone was watching her from her bedroom doorway.

"I won't tell your secrets

Your secrets are safe with me

I will keep your secrets

Just think of me as pages in your diary

Everybody say `whoa'

Let me hear say `whoa'

Everybody say `whoa'

Let me hear you say `I won't tell'"

Who ever was in her doorway still didn't move from its shadow but did speak up. "I won't tell." She was surprised when someone spoke but didn't find the aura threatening, in fact that was the opposite of it. The aura was calming and familiar.

"I won't tell"

“I won't tell.”

"I won't tell"

“I won't tell.”

"Your secrets! Your secrets! Break it down...

Oh ho oh

Secrets...

Oh no no no

Secrets...

There you are..."

Someone was behind her with his arms wrapped around her waist, not that she was complaining mind you.

"...I won't tell a soul..."

They sang the last part at the same time, his hot breath tickled her ear as they did making Kagome shudder lightly. "You've returned," she said with tears of happiness in her eyes.

"Of course, and you waited." He whispered to her never once removing his loving hold on her.

"To the end of time." she replied.
