Chapter 1 Sneaky Little Devil

Kagome waited in her large room of her new house. She was currently a millionaire and the youngest spy alive. She had completed the jewel without the help of InuYasha or her friends because Naraku had killed them all hours before she had retrieved it.

****Flashback****

Kagome had been taught many different Miko abilities by Midoriko and Keade. Midoriko came to her in her dreams and announced to her that Kagome is Midoriko's reincarnation. Kagome was also trained in her sleep by Midoriko and could do anything imaginable. Like telepathy, telekinetic, creation, summoning, rejuvenation, evolving, hand-to-hand combat, swordsmanship, bow and arrows, glaive, staff and wards, boomerang, and wings. Yes Kagome had wings. They came down to her ankles and had silver tips and the rest was white. Kagome has always had wings but they just didn't appear till now. She also had the Kanji words on her forehead which meant `Dark Star'.

Kagome had been walking from Keade when she herd Sango yell out her boomerangs name. Kagome ran as fast as she could to the yelling. She would have flown but she didn't want the gang knowing about Midoriko. She came to a clearing and the first thing she saw was blood. It was everywhere. Her friend's blood at that. "NO!" Kagome kneeled down next to Shippou's body, what was left of it anyway. She cried. Then she heard a most familiar yet chilling sound.

"Ku Ku Ku Ku! I see you have found your friends miko! Now it is your turn to die!" Naraku walked out of the shadows without his baboon pelt.

"Naraku…." Kagome's words were like ice. They even scared Naraku. She stood up and the wind picked up around her. Naraku had to shield his eyes when blazing silver light shown on Kagome.

When it vanished Kagome had wins and a marking on her forehead. He read them and his eyes opened wide in shock. "You are Dark Star!?" Kagome merely nodded. Naraku backed up when Kagome held her palm out to his direction and a bright white light blew his body away in one sweep. When the light had disappeared, Kagome got the last of the jewel and put the pieces together. A pink radiance shown from the jewel and Midoriko showed up.

"Hello Kagome." Midoriko smiled. Kagome smiled back. "What is your wish?" Kagome thought. She really did want her friends back but she let fate take its own direction. She also had a small feeling that she shouldn't or they would be like Kikiyo, an alive shell. Kagome sighed.

"I wish to become a half Phoenix half Dragon youkai, Midoriko." Kagome said simply. Midoriko nodded and chanted something under her breath. When she stopped chanting Kagome blinked a few times. "How is your vision? Your sense of smell?" Midoriko asked. Kagome grinned,

"A whole lot better! Thank you Midoriko!" They both exchanged looks and smiled at each other. When Midoriko left Kagome buried her friends properly and prayed for them at the Goshinboku.

She got up and walked to Keade. Keade smiled at her and Kagome didn't return it. Then Keade discovered she couldn't sense the shards anymore. "Is it time child?" Kagome nodded and they hugged. "Where are InuYasha and the others?" Kagome's head went down and Keade hugged her close again because she understood. "I see. It was their time Kagome. There is nothing we can do about it." Kagome looked up and nodded. (She isn't in her wings and other stuff okay!)

Kagome got her pack and left the village with same last goodbyes to the villagers. She hopped in the well and it automatically sealed forever. Kagome cried at the bottom of the well and didn't come out until she heard her mom yell at Souta. Kagome ran to her mothers voice and hugged her close when she found her. Kagome had just then spilt everything to her mother and her mom said that they had to move. Kagome understood and helped pack. They had moved to a nice place in Okinawa, Japan. (I think she originally live in Tokyo) She was going to a new school and has a blue uniform now. She is in the highest of classes and knows 3 languages. Spanish, Japanese, English.

She had been called up from the CIA and they gave her a job offer as a spy. She gladly took it. Months later her mother told her that Kagome had enough money to own a nice large house and live on her own. Kagome agreed but never told her mom what she was, she couldn't. Kagome is one of the richest people in the world and is the youngest spy to live.

She is also the best of the best of the spies.

****End Flashback**** (sorry it was so long)

Kagome got up from her large bed and took a long shower. After the shower her cell phone rang and it was her boss. He had told her that she could take a few nights off. When she got off the phone she walked to her laptop and typed on A.I.M. to someone with the screen name JrKoenmaRox Kagome's was YoungSpy. Their conversation kinda went like this:

JrKoenmaRox: Do you have a job?

YoungSpy: Yes

JrKoenmaRox: What is it?

YoungSpy: I can't tell you

JrKoenmaRox: Is it one of those, `If I tell you I have to kill you' things?

YoungSpy: lol yes it is.

JrKoenmaRox: Are you up for a job as a Spirit Detective?

YoungSpy: What's that?

JrKoenmaRox: Well, (insert the S.D. description)

YoungSpy: Sure

JrKoenmaRox: Good! You say you are powerful right?

YoungSpy: yeah, meet me at the Sakura Park in Okinawa, Japan at 2200 hours.

JrKoenmaRox: Okay!

YoungSpy: See yah!

JrKoenmaRox: Bye

Koenma got off his laptop and looked at the Yu Yu gang. "Guys, I have assigned you a new partner, just call him Young Spy okay? Where is Kuwabara?" Yusuke answered that.

"Family crisis." Yusuke asked this time, "Why do we need a new member toddler?"

Koenma got mad, "Yusuke Uremeshi I am not a toddler!!! I have hired this new member because he claims to be strong and your next mission requires at the least, one more partner, but now that Kuwabara is gone we need another." Koenma went back to his laptop and wrote back to YoungSpy.

JrKoenmaRox: Hey? Do you have an extra person we can use?

Kagome got on her computer after hearing the `ding' noise.

YoungSpy: I have a very useful Xhavian (zay-vee-an) that we can use.

JrKoenmaRox: A Xhavian?

YoungSpy: It is a bird with gold feathers and a chest of scales. They are very powerful and are intelligent. (remember the golden birds in Final Fantasy X2? That is what the bird looks like!)

JrKoenmaRox: like a pet?

YoungSpy: Yes just different. Her name is Kirei

JrKoenmaRox: Pretty?

YoungSpy: Would you prefer something better?

JrKoenmaRox: I suppose not. Can you bring Kirei with you?

YoungSpy: Sure

JrKoenmaRox: Thank You

Koenma turned back to the gang and Yusuke went crazy. "You met him on the internet!?" Koenma gulped.

"Y-Yes." Yusuke's mouth dropped while Kurama and Hiei just ignored it. "You will meet him tonight at 10:00 at the Sakura Park in Okinawa.

They all nodded, even Yusuke and Hiei.

Kagome decided to go shopping for new clothes to wear for her new boss's meeting with her. She walked into The Burlington Coat Factory at the mall and got herself a new black trench coat (like the matrix). She walked out and went into Hot Topic and got a black pair of baggy bell-bottom jeans that fit snug around the waist with one chain and a tight black t-shirt with Happy Bunny on the front saying `It's Cute How You Think I Listen to You'. She really didn't care how her first impression with this guy went. She has wanted this shirt for a while and didn't know why she didn't get it sooner with all the money she has. She also got a pair of black high heel boots that went up to her knee.

She went home and changed into her new clothes and put the jeans flare over the boots knee length. She looked good. She put on some black eye shadow and studs as earrings. She had also gotten a cartilage piercing in her left ear and that one was a stud too.

She ate dinner and left out the door at ten to the Sakura Park to meet her soon to be boss while Kirei hopped on her shoulder.

Koenma and the others all looked the same except Koenma was in his teenage form with no pacifier and a business suit on. They had Botan transport them there and Botan stayed at the ReiKai. Koenma and the others stood waiting for her and in one minute the clock would strike 10. "Listen, this guy and his pet are your new team mates. Do not question them I will do that." Yusuke opened his mouth to say something. "Yusuke shut up!" Yusuke closed his mouth. "I want you to show you nicest of manners to him and his bird Kirei. You call him Young Spy. That is his AIM name." They nodded and the clock dinged 10. Not a second later a black figure stepped out of the shadows with a golden bird on his shoulders. "Hello Young Spy!" Koenma said. Young Spy lifted his head and they were surprised to see a girl.

"Hello JrKoenmaRox." She had a soft voice. She stepped into the light a little more to reveal herself to them. The guys (even Hiei) gulped at her remarkable beauty and luscious curves. She had on all black and her shirt had a rabbit on it and underneath the rabbit it said `It's Cute How You Think I Listen to You'.

Koenma freaked, "YOU'RE A GIRL!?" Kagome rolled her eyes.

"Nauh! Do I look like a guy to you!?" He shook his head no. "Good."

Koenma spoke, "You can't join! You are a girl for crying out loud!" Kagome growled low in her chest so only Hiei and Kurama could hear.

"You dare ridicule me? I might be a girl," Kagome took a step foreward and let her shield for her power conservation drop. "But I pack a powerful punch." She appeared behind Koenma in a flash and acted like she was going to knock him out. She stopped actiong and turned around. She pointed to Kurama. "Why didn't you try to save him fox?" She pointed her finger to Hiei. "And you, why didn't you, Hiei. Or do you prefer forbidden child?" Hiei couldn't manage to growl at her last remark, Kurama and him both were surprised that she knew about Kurama's secret. "Don't tell me the famous Youko Kurama chose a weak human to take over as a body." Their eyes widened. She smirked. "Koenma you sexist pig! Do not mock a woman's powers because she appears to be weak or she is not a man! You better hope Botan comes and makes a portal for you all to go to the ReiKai."

Koenma spoke again, "I'm sorry! You can have the job! Who are you?" Koenma hid behind Hiei and Kurama. Kagome appeared behind him again.

"The only thing you don't want as your enemy." She whispered in his ear. Koenma shivered at the sound of her cold voice. He nodded his head and she appeared in front of them once again. "So, I guess it is story time. I am Kagome Higurashi, my current occupation is a spy for the CIA. I am the youngest of them all but the best they got." The guys' eyes bulged out of their sockets (except Hiei he was like this o-o and they are like this O-O).

Yusuke spoke this time. "No way can a girl be the best CIA agent alive!" Kagome used her telekinetic abilities to lift Yusuke into the air. "What the!"

"What did you say?" Kagome asked. Yusuke looked shocked.

"You are doing this!?" Kagome nodded. She gently put Yusuke down.

"I have many abilities. I am a miko and a Half Phoenix half Dragon Youkai." Once again big eyes. Kagome sighed. "Yes I know about demons and spirits and stuff! I know many things as well" They all nodded. "Let's got back to my house for the night. Koenma, go back to the ReiKai, Botan is having trouble with the fax machine." Koenma nodded and called Botan and sure enough she was having trouble with the fax machine. Koenma went back to the ReiKai and the boys followed Kagome to her house.
