~~~~~Kenshin's POV~~~~~

I wonder if he meant anything by that kiss? I'll have to ask him later. I shook Sano and finally managed to wake him up. Shishiwa woke up by him self from all the noise Sano was making, telling me to leave him alone. Touya was yelling for Jin to wake up before he went up there and pushed him off the branch he was on. Jin wasn't really listening, but got down in a hurry when Touya started to climb the tree.

~~~~~Touya's POV~~~~~

I hope that Kenshin was being honest when he returned the kiss. I really do like him. Just thinking about him rejecting me makes me depressed. I'll make another move tonight and see what happens.

~~~~~Normal POV~~~~~

They set off on their journey back. They got there at noon to see Megumi sitting out side waiting for them. She saw us coming and ran to meet us.

"We've been so worried, why did you run off like that?" She asked.

"Well, we kinda wanted to live." Kenshin said.

"Yeah, Kaoru was pretty mad at us." Sano said.

"What? She wasn't mad, just upset. She was afraid that Aoshi made Kenshin change to Battousai." She said.

"And thought yelling at us would help? That would be doubtful even if he did change to Battousai." Sano said.

"What's Battousai?" Jin asked curiously.

"Nothing of importance." Kenshin said quickly.

**Evening**

They had just finished eating a meal cooked by Kaoru. They had eaten it with out complaining, but they still felt a little sick. They all liked Kenshin's food a lot better. They decided to go to bed. Kenshin went to Touya's room and knocked. `Now or never.' He thought. Touya opened the door.

"I have some thing to ask you" Kenshin said.

"Um… OK" Touya said, letting him in and closing the door.

"I want to know, why you kissed me this morning." Kenshin said quietly.

"It's my way of saying `I think I've fallen for you.'" Touya said.

"Really?" Kenshin asked, looking shocked. Touya nodded, and Kenshin smiled at him. "I'm very glad you like me." Kenshin said. Touya looked at him, then went and kissed him softly on the lips.

"So am I." Touya said softly, giving him a warm hug and kissing him deeply.

~~~~~Touya's POV~~~~~

Gods, holding him is like holding an angel. He's perfect in my eyes. I love him.

~~~~~Kenshin's POV~~~~~

Having Touya kiss me is like being shot up to heaven. He's the most wonderful person I've ever met, and I just realized, I love him. I have ever since I saw him; I just wasn't familiar with my feelings.

~~~~~Normal POV~~~~~

They both sat on the bed, holding each other. Just glad that the other was there. Kenshin soon fell asleep in Touya's arms, warm and comfortable, feeling truly loved and cared for. Touya sat and watched Kenshin for awhile, before laying them both down and falling asleep with Kenshin in his arms for a second time.
