**Morning**

They had just finished breakfast. Sano challenged Shishiwa to a rematch. "He just won't admit defeat, will he?" Touya asked. "Apparently not." Kenshin said. "I grow tired of knocking you out, Sano." Shishiwa said. "You won't win this time!" Sano said. Shishiwa hit him over the head with the hilt of his sword. "Looks like I just did." He said, looking down at the unconscious Sano on the floor.

**Three Hours Later**

Sano sat up rubbing his head. "Learn to dodge." A voice beside him said. He looked over and saw Shishiwa beside him. "Good idea" Sano muttered.

I looked down at Sano. "Why are always so determined to win anyways?" I asked. Sano shrugged. "I don't know I just don't like to lose." He said. "If you would just deal with defeat, then you would be wake more often than not." I told him. Sano just shrugged.

Why does my head have to hurt every time I wake up after a fight? It's not fair, I fight until I'm unable to, and I'm rewarded with a head ache. Maybe Shishiwa is right, if I can't win, then I should just admit defeat, but then I would never get any good practice. Oh well, I'll think about it later.

~~~~~Shishiwa's POV~~~~~

I saw Sano lay back down out of the corner of my eye. I glanced at him, wondering why I was still sitting here, and why I've always waited to make sure he was okay every time we fought. What are these feelings, I've never felt like this before. Why do I feel this way, and what is it I feel……?
