Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction / Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ The Mistress ❯ Round 1 one for team Urameshi ( Chapter 14 )
I don't Own Yuu-Yuu Hakusho... nor do I own Sailor moon this is just for reader's enjoyment.
"Finally entering the stadium… the one team we all want to see dead… TEAM URAMESHI!"
"Nice introduction…" Yusuke said as they walked in with the rest of his team walking behind him as the jeers of the other demons rang out loudly. The team they had been going against had dubbed themselves team Fukuhon-neko (Copy Cats). It puzzled everyone why a team would name themselves that but they had and there wasn't a damned thing anyone could do about it.
"Will the captains of both teams step forward?" Juri asked as Yusuke and this big bulky being clad in a black robe that covered all but his pale white face which looked highly innocent with bright brown eyes, and Yusuke knew well enough that innocence in a place like this is never a hand in hand situation.
"So, how do you suggest we fight this round?" The captain of the opposing team spoke up.
"Doesn't matter…" Yusuke said.
"Fine then… it will extend to one on one battle; best out of five wins the round?"
"Fine with us…" Yusuke said as he went back to inform his team. "Traditional." He said earning nods from them all.
"I'll go first…" Hiei 'offered' but was surprised to find Kohaku already in the ring.
"Man for a runt he's fast…" Kuwabara said.
"Let him break the team in…" Yusuke said. "Won't hurt us much if he loses cuz we've still got three good fighters on the team and we only need three wins."
"Don't be so hard on Hiei." Kuwabara said.
"I believe he was talking about you, idiot." Hiei said making Kuwabara steam up but Kurama asked him to hush as the fight began.
"Alright round one begins with new member Kohaku of Team Urameshi and Keiji of Team Fukuhon-neko, Fighters ready? FIGHT!!!" Juri said as neither fighter moved form their place. They stared at each other kinda of daring the other to move, in the end it had been Kohaku to move first as he struck Keiji and he hit the ground hard. Keiji got up wiping the trickle of blood from his lip and glared. Kohaku just stood there not moving or saying a word.
"That was a free shot but know now… there will be no others." Keiji lifted his pale face to look at Kohaku. Keiji stood and removed his robe and shock ran clear across the faces of the Urameshi team's The way this male was dressed greatly reminded them of the late Team Masho member, Gama.
Keiji didn't go to lengths of an explanation, nor did he have the time to. Kohaku was on the move again. Keiji waited watching Kohaku run straight at him right into his doom. Kohaku had his arm out ready to strike but hadn't anticipated the paint coming right at the arm and it fell limp stopping Kohaku in his tracks. Keiji merely laughed.
"Obviously you know little of your teammates past experience with this tournament." Keiji said getting ready to seal the rest of Kohaku's body but Kohaku still managed to move a fair distance away.
"Explain!" The single word came from under the hood Kohaku was wearing.
"Maybe we should have tutored the small guy about what really goes on in this dump." Kuwabara said.
"No, if he's all powerful as he likes to walk around as then he should be able to get out of this." Hiei spat out.
"Are you jealous that you finally have a bit of competition in the arrogance division?" Kurama asked.
"You see at one point Gama had come across a great fighter who gave his all to have his team's dream come alive, even his life. His main weapon had been his make up, from which his blood had been poured into. The make up to use now is the remnants of the original creators."
"Oh ladies and gentleman it looks as if Keiji has the upper hand in this fight with Kohaku's right arm immobilized. I don't know about you but I am hoping for some blood to be leaked in this match!!" Juri said.
"Make up as in lipstick? Blush?" Humor could be heard in Kohaku's tone.
"Not even close. Such disrespect won't be tolerated." Keiji said. "You see the paint I have placed on your arm has immobilized it like literally placing one thousand pounds on it."
"Lighten up…" Kohaku said making his teammates blink. He had been so detached from the group up until now and he's telling other people to lighten up?!?! "Or…" The voice dropped back to being detached once more. "Or you'll lose focus of everything and it'll cost you much…" Kohaku said.
"Enough of your lack of respect!" Keiji growled out before moving towards the Urameshi team member only to once more find that his target has move only getting his right leg caught in the paint this time.
'Damn… that's a thousand more.' Kohaku mentally cursed. Keiji turned toward the hooded male.
"Keiji has just barely missed his complete target but managed to catch new comer Kohaku in the right leg. What will this new fighter do? What will Keiji do? Will it be a quick and painless death…?"
"I think I want to draw this fight out…"Keiji said raising the brush.
"You heard it here ladies and gentlemen! This Match is gonna be chock full of torture!!"
"You aren't even a challenge… You're just a pathetic weakling." Keiji raised his brush once more only to have it seemed to be snatched from his hand and it floated to Kohaku.
"A Weakling?!?!" Anger stuck in Kohaku's voice for the first time anyone heard it and it was creepy. "Too bad the make up wasn't made of your blood… it would not effect you." Kohaku made a few strokes as Keiji's entire body froze.
"How could you…" He attempted to move.
"It looks as if Keiji's attack was turned on him?"
"In our stand off… I copied your moves. Hence the trance and the first blow I got off… but since the crowd wants blood." Kohaku said as his cloak began to move around in the winds that picked up. The open skies of the arena darkened as what seemed to be a shadow over the top.
"I don't know ladies and Gentlemen but this looks awfully suspicious and this announcer girl knows when to back up a bit." The clouds darkened even more beyond what was believed possible and it looked at if night had fallen already. Suddenly laughter erupted from Kohaku. "Team elemental was a weak team individually but as one? They could cause bloody hell and torment on all!!" The laughter continued to erupt as it began to rain… the rain felt like pins and needles to the skin drenching everything. As Kohaku's insane laughter continued it began to lightening… but not like any regular storm… it began falling into one point almost in the shape of a dragon with its mouth open to engulf its prey… Keiji. "What a fitting name for you… Keiji… Lead Cautiously." Kohaku laughed.
"Okay its official; that guy is creepy." Kuwabara said as the rain only seemed to fall on the ring.
"He copies powers, big deal the only one he's got of his own is that mind moving thing?" Yusuke said staring.
"Telekinesis?" Kurama asked.
"Whatever."
"Come on Kohaku you can do it!!!" Several voices rang out at once… and finally the guys could see all of the girls in the audience cheering on the new comer.
"Well, I think this is the end for you Keiji" The dragon finally seemed to cover the demon and he vanished from sight and screamed of anguish and pain erupted from inside and when it died out a fried Keiji remained. Juri poked the demon and got no response.
"First round goes to Kohaku of Team Urameshi!" Juri said and Kohaku's laughter stopped short and he began to tremble. His breath came out short and ragged as he felt his team mates run into the ring in an attempt to drag him out.
"It seems that attack took a lot out of you." Kurama said listening to his ragged breathing… but Kohaku was steady muttering something over and over to himself.
"I'm taking the next one!!" Kuwabara said
"Yeah… okay." Yusuke said. "If they're all as stupid as Keiji here then there should be no problem."

Oi! Alright yes Keiji was arrogant but had no brain cells… but the others aren't that stupid c-ya all another time!
