Kurama was in his room getting ready for bed when he thought he sensed a youki he hadn't felt in a long time, since he was a youko. He shook his head thinking it was him imagination, he got his pajama pants on. Kurama walked over to his desk where his homework was sitting. He sighed and sat down to finish it. Sometimes he hated being the best student in his school; it gave his teachers an excuse to give him extra homework.

"I don't know why you even bother with those stupid human things." A new voice came from the window. Kurama smiled and shook his head slightly.

"You would have to live here to understand, Hiei."

"Hn." Was the only answer Kurama got, and the only one he ever got. Kurama finished his homework quickly and then turned to Hiei.

"Did you sense any thing a few minutes ago?" He asked as he leaned back in his chair.

"No." Hiei said as he took out his katana and started polishing it. Kurama nodded and stood up going over to turn out the light. He looked at his clock and saw it was almost 12:30 in the morning.

"Try not to put any more holes in the rug will you?" Kurama asked as he turned out the big light in his room. His desk lamp was still on so Hiei could see what he was doing. Kurama climbed into bed and fell asleep.

Omi woke up the next morning when he felt the warm morning sun shining on his face. He made a noise of protest and pulled the covers over his head turning onto his side. He peeked out and looked at his clock to see what time it was. He nearly fell out of bed when he saw it was almost 9:30. He jumped out of bed and grabbed his clothes going into the bathroom to take his morning shower.

Downstairs Aya and Youji could hear Omi running around upstairs trying to get breakfast. Omi came running down the stairs with a piece of toast in his mouth. He glared at Aya and Youji.

"Who turned off my alarm!?"

"I did, you were up late last night and needed sleep." Aya said.

Omi sighed and shook his head, "Aya-kun, I still have a lot of research I have to get done. Once this mission is over I can sleep all I want." Omi said and turned to going down to the mission room to finish the research he had started the night before.

"I told you he wouldn't like you turning his alarm off." Youji said, taking out a cigarette and lighting it.

"If I wanted your advice, I would have asked for it." Aya snapped and went to work on a display of flowers.

Downstairs, Omi turned on his monitor on and was happy to see everything was the way he had left it last night. He started typing away on his computer; he had given up trying to find information on the killer for now. Right now he was trying to see if he could find anything the victims had in common.

He got the last profile up for the latest victim and did a search to see what they had in common. It didn't take long to fine. They all went to the same private school.

"The killer must be picking random kids from the same school…" Omi thought out loud. He printed out the information and ran up stairs to show Aya and Youji.

"I talked with Boton earlier, she said the youkai killed someone else." Yusuke said to Kurama.

"I haven't sensed any youkai around at all. He must know how to mask it pretty good." Kuwabara said as he sat down on the floor.

"Hn." Hiei said form behind him making him jump and turn around.

"Hey, shrimp, don't sneak up on people like that!" Kuwabara yelled.

"I didn't know you were a person." Hiei said as he walked over to the window and sat down.

"Can you two fight after we find this guy?!" Yusuke snapped. Hiei just looked away.

"Well he started it." Kuwabara mumbled under his breath.

"Ok then. Kurama, so far this youkai has only been taking kids from your school so for now just keep your eyes open. That's all we can do for now."

"I will see what I can do." Kurama said as he stood up. "Right now I have to go, I promised okasan I would be home early to help with the laundry." Kurama said and left. Yusuke turned to Hiei and was about to say something, but Hiei had already left.

Yusuke shrugged. "Well I guess I should go meet Keiko so I don't get hit for being late." Yusuke said and left as well.

Yusuke was walking down the street when he saw Keiko talking to someone who looked like a florist. Yusuke walked over to them.

"I'm sorry about that, next time I'll have to look where I'm going." Keiko said as she handed him a box that had a couple crushed flowers in it.

"It alright, really. They were just extras in case something happened to the other ones." He said.

"Hey Keiko! This is a first, I'm on time ne?" Yusuke said as he ran up to her.

"Your not only on time, your three minutes early." She smiled and kissed his cheek. Yusuke blushed.

"Keiko! Don't do that!" He said and wiped his cheek. He looked at the guy who was still standing there smiling he took a flower that wasn't crushed out of the box and handed it to Keiko.

"Here ya go. I had better be getting back before my boss gets mad and decides to hunt me down." He said and hopped on the scooter and drove off.

"Ok…and who was that?" Yusuke asked Keiko.

"His name is Ken, he sometimes delivers flowers to my parents ramen shop. Every now and then he gives me one of the extra flowers if he has any." Keiko smiled.

Ken pulled up to the flower shop and parked the scooter. He got off and grabbed the box on the back and headed in. He walked in and saw Omi, Aya and Youji there. Omi had a piece of paper in his hands and was almost yelling at Aya.

"But, Aya-kun! It's the only lead we have right now, and if he's going to strike again the school would be the best place to try first." Omi said. Aya shook his head.

"But you don't know for sure if he's going to strike there next or not." Aya pointed out.

"Aya, every victim he has taken, went to this school…"

"The kid does have a point there. They found another body today, and they said that she went to that school." Youji said. Aya glared at him.

"Your not helping." Aya snapped. This seemed to be the first time any of them noticed Ken. Omi turned and looked at him.

"What's going on here?" He asked setting the box on the table.

"I found out that all the kids killed went to the same school, and it's only logical that he will strike there again." Omi said, showing him the paper he had.

"So what are we gonna do? Send someone in undercover or something?"

"That's what I was thinking, but Aya-kun said he doesn't think it is."

"Why not?" Ken asked handing the paper back to Omi and looking at Aya.

"Just because all the victims went to the same school, doesn't mean a thing. It's not enough to go on."

"But it's the only thing we have to go on, Aya-kun!" Omi protested again.

"I agree with Omi, this is the best chance we have right now to catch this guy before he kills again." Ken said. Omi smiled at him. Youji nodded his agreement.

"Your out numbered, Aya. Three to one deal with it." Youji said and walked over to Omi. "But since this is your idea, you get to go under cover, Omittchi." Omi nodded. Aya growled under his breath, he still didn't like this idea. But it was three against one, so no matter what he said they would probably ignore him. He walked out of the room, not wanting to hear what the other three were talking about.

Kuronue was sitting in his room when Kunisada came in. He didn't even bother to look at him; he wished he never had to see this youkai.

" Have you found my next victim yet, Kuronue?" He asked.

"No I haven't, and I don't plan to."

"Oh feeling brave are we. Remember what happened last time you were feeling brave?" He asked as he walked over and ran a finger down the scar on Kuronue's arm making him shiver.

"Yes I remember. And I don't care, what your doing is wrong. You should just go back to the Makai where you belong."

"You belong there to you know."

"No I don't, I am supposed to be dead." Kuronue turned to glare at him.

"I thought you said you wanted to come back to life so you could find your lost love?"

"I did want to do that. But you know as well as I do that Youko Kurama is dead." Kuronue turned away from him.

"Fine, I will deal with you latter. After I find my next victim." Kunisada said and left the room. Kuronue waited until he was sure Kunisada was gone, then he stood up and walked over to the window. He looked down; it wasn't that far of a jump. He was going to get out of here tonight. Kuronue climbed up on the windowsill and jumped down and made a run for it.

"Now all I have to do is find the Urimeshi team and warn them about Kunisada." Kuronue said as he ran away from the building.

Ok here is the second chapter. Next chapter Omi goes to school, and Schu shows up ^_^ but how jealous is Aya? And will Kuronue find Yusuke and every one before Kunisada finds him gone? Well guess your ganna have to wait and find out. Ja ne!
