Chapter Four -- Kidnapped!
Akari walked quickly, wanting to get as far away from Yusuke as possible. He was wrong, wasn't he? She wasn't a sugar tit was she? How could she deny his claim when she could remember nothing of this life prior to waking the other day? She turned the corner and collided with a large furry form. A low growl filled her ears as she looked up, "Aishitare?"
She started to back away but the wolf man was faster, leaping over her to land in front of her once again. She opened her mouth to scream but an arm wrapped around her waist, a hand clamped over her mouth. Akari tried to kick at her captor, another set of arms grabbing her legs. She recognized the one holding her lower half as Suboshi and could only assume that it was Amiboshi who kept her from screaming. "Soi, we've got her."
Soi came into her view, smiling. Before the woman could say anything Yusuke came trotting around the corner. Aishitare hit him from behind but he only stumbled forward. Akari increased her struggles but to no avail. Soi advanced on Yusuke, a predatory gleam in her eye. She sauntered up to Yusuke as he straightened. Akari saw the appreciative look in his eye as Soi reached out to stroke his cheek with a finger. "Hmm...you're a handsome one."
Akari had squirmed enough to bit Amiboshi hand. He removed it with a yelp, though still keeping a hold on her waist, "Yusuke!"
Yusuke's head snapped toward her, as Amiboshi and Suboshi started to move off with her. "What the hell?" was all Yusuke managed before Aishitare hit him again, this time knocking Yusuke to the ground. "Bring him. Maybe Nakago will let me keep him. Tomo! We will be leaving, work your magic."
The twins started to drag her away. As the wolf man picked up Yusuke, Akari saw Kenshin turn the corner of the house. "Kenshin! Kenshin!!" Akari struggles increased, but the red haired swordsman just looked around in confusion. She heard him call her name. Why couldnt he see her? Then she saw Tomo, holding his clam shell, smoke drifting up from it. Her heart sank as she realized Tomo's illusion was preventing Kenshin from seeing them. She was shoved roughly into the back seat of a car. She heard the soft music of a flute fill the air and felt her body become heavier, as her eye lids started to slid down. The music was making her sleep. "Amiboshi...no," was all she managed before darkness claimed her.
Akari awoke to the sound of her name being called and found herself staring into the dark blue eyes of Seto Kaiba.
"Ah, you're awake," he said sitting back in his chair.
She sat up groggily, realizing she had been placed on a bed. "Seto..."
"I'm glad you could join us, Akari...we have a proposition for you."
"Us?" It was then she saw the two men, standing near the door. They were like the light and dark side of the same coin. Naraku and Nakago. The looks in their eyes, caused her breath to quicken in fear, a lump rising in her throat, "What proposition?"
"You see, Akari, we do not want your business here. However, we would like a foothold in Americas, you can give us that Akari. Are you fond of labyrinths?"
She didn't answer, unable to take her eyes off the two by the door. She was not afraid of Seto but she was afraid of them, especially Nakago. Seto stood, "Come with me."
Akari rose slowly, following him out the door, unfortunatly needing to pass by Nakago and Naraku to do so. They did nothing, merely followed along silently. Seto stopped before another door. "If you can make it out of this labyrinth then you can have Kaiba Corp."
"If I don't?" Now she was really wishing that she would wake up. This dream was turning into a nightmare.
"Then you give us you're company."
"Do I have a choice?"
Seto shook his head and with a sigh, she nodded.
