50 years later

Serenity speeded through the highway in her red convertible. She was really pissed. Just once she finally visited her parents and they end up arguing. While steering with her right hand,she used her left to take out a pack of cigarettes from her purse. She lit one and inhaled it really deep,gave out a deep sigh making smoke come out of her mouth.

Actually, she didn't know where she was going, she just needed to steam off a bit thinking about the earlier event at her parent's house. Ever since she was a child, she knew her parent's were...well... different. Her mother had healing powers and her father wasn't getting older. (now she looks older than him!) That was how she became a problem child, a brat, a rebel. She never listened to them and threw tantrums. She also knew her parents loved her with all their heart but she just couldn't put aside their differences. She regrets being their child...she hated them.

At age 12 she moved out and lived in a one bedroom apartment with her boyfriend Dukedevlin. She still lives there and as for Dukedevlin, he's the love of her life. Being with him just lights up her day. From the first time they met, she knew she was in love with him. After all these years theyv'e been living together they were still unmarried, but she knew he would pop the question sooner or later.

Her car passed the park but 50 years ago it used to be a forest. As a child she remembered her parents always visiting it but sh had no idea why and didn't plan to know. A thought passe through her mind, maybe she could take a walk there to help her release some stress. She made a U turn and headed to the park. When she got there, she threw her cigarette and mushed it into the ground with the bottom of her shoes. She followed the trail that led to some trees. She inhaled the clean air and taking in the scenery. She heard the trees here were very old and she could tell from their size and height.

She kept on walking taking deep breaths, looking around when she saw a strange black thing under a huge tree. Wondering what it was, she approached it carefully. When she finally got close she realized it was a human being. She turned the man over. He had black spiky hair, a bandage over around his forehead and wore black pants.

Making a terrified expression at the thought of his death, she checked his heart beat."Good he's not dead "she thought. She decided to take him to the hospital, it was the least she could do. He was surprisingly light as she carried him on her back and layed him down in her back seat. Then she was off to the hospital.

When she got there, the doctors and nurses placed him in a bed took him in a room and made Serenity wait in the waiting room. Serenity sat on a big green sofa, crossed her legs and sighed. She checked the time,midnight oh well she thought as she pulled out a magazine from the rack. She turned the pages and laughed at an article. At the top it said,"DO YOU KNOW WHAT TRUE LOVE IS?" Of course I do, she scoffed. She did know what love was,after spending so many years with Dukedevlin, it was definitely true love. She looked up when she heard the doctor calling her.

"He seems to be in a deep coma and will not wake up for some time....maybe months...are you related to him?"the doctor asked Serenity.

"OH NO!"Serenity denied,"I was strolling through the park and I saw him lying underneath a tree.I realized

he was alive and I took him here."

The doctor looked disappointed and said,"Oh, that's too bad it happens sometimes....we looked up who

he is but found no trace. It seems he has absolutely no family."Then he walked away to treat his other patients.

Serenity watched him disappear inside another room and decided to visit the lonely stranger in black. She swung open the door an stepped inside. She saw a big white bed next to a tall window. The man layed there peacefully with his eyes closed. Serenity stepped closer and watched him carefully. She hadn't realized it before but he was very goodlooking. His face silhoutted from the moonbeam coming from the window making his face whiter almost glowing. His lips perfectly curved and long black eyelashes. His body was well built not too muscular or scrawny. Just perfect. "Poor guy,"she thought,"I feel sorry for him,no one to turn to,nobody to care about him..I guess wer'e almost alike,but I have Dukedevlin..I HAVE NO OTHER FAMILY."

She pulled a chair placed right next to the bed and made a dreamy face and stared at him for a long time. An hour later she checked the time and realized it was very late. I should be heading home,Dukedevlin,my love will be worried about me.

She took the elevator to the parking lot, got in her car and drove off. She stopped at her apartment's front lawn got into the building and took the stairs to the third floor. Soon she was in front of her apartment door, anxious to see Dukedevlin and make love to him. She drew out her keys from her purse and stuck it in the knob. She twisted it and the door slowlyopened.

"HONEY!I'm HOME!" she yelled happily but her expression soon changed to horror as she saw Tea on top of Dukedevlin riding him, about to climax.

"OH!Dukedevlin!"Tea moaned,"almost there!"

Dukedevlin opened his eyes to realize Serenity was there.

"OH SHIT!"Dukedevlin cried standing up gathering the blanket around his body making Tea fall off the

bed.

"SERENITY....I...can..explain...."he stammered.

Serenity stood there in shock as she felt tears forming in her eyes. She ran as fast as she could downstairs and got into her car. Started the engine then stopped it. She put her arms on the steering wheel and buried her head in her arms crying. Nothing could ever stop her tears,her whole life was ruined all in one night. Who would have thought,Tea her best friend and her Lover,Dukedevlin... both together?the thought just scared her as she sobbed trying to control the tears. She heard Dukedevlin run outside calling her. He tried to run to her but Serenity quickly started the engine and drove off.

Here she was again just as before, driving nowhere. Trying hard to concentrate from her blurry vision caused by her tears. She hated everyone...she knew now that she was comlpetely alone. Surely she wouldn't turn back to her parents....NO WAY!!she would rather die. That was her problem. What now?Where should she go now?

She couldn't think of no one else to turn to now. Then she thought of the stranger in the hospital. She decided to visit him one more time.
