Serenity had her hands on the steering wheel,as tears rapidly fall down from her eyes. She couldn't believe it,being with Hiei were the best days of her life and now she couldn't believe it was over. Still she was willling to give it all up because he was....different. She was mad,everyone she loved or loved her,ended up betraying her or they were freaks. This was the same reason,she hated her parents. She was never going to give in,she was never going to accept them for who they were. Yet,now..she was alone again. She had nobody now,Hiei was a relief after her big break up with Dukedevlin and now everyone was gone.

Serenity decided to drown her sorrow with alcohol. She walked inside a bar and ordered a glass of beer. She felt awful and she rested her arms elbows on the table and buried her head in her hands. She felt horrible, she hated everybody. She just sat there in the corner of the bar,alone and crying. Suddenly awakening from her sorrow,she heard a familiar voice nearby and groaned to realize it was Dukedevlin. She didn't want him there right now,she wanted to be left alone.

"Um...HI babe." Dukedevlin said as he pulled up a chair next to her and sat down. His expression was calm and blank as he watched listened to her sobs. Suddenly he couldn't take it anymore.

"OH!Serenity!please take me back!I was a fool to ever leave you! Tea was just a mistake!I love you!"He blurted out as he wrapped his arms around her.

Serenity didn't even feel sympathy for him as she punched him hard on the face sending Dukedevlin down on the ground. Serenity had an urge to kick him and trample him while he was still down but her body wouldn't response. They were numb from all her crying.So she resumed her position,as she buried her head in her arms again.

Dukedevlin carressed his cheek from the painful punch and down on his chair next to her. He knew it was a bad time to ask for forgiveness but yet,he wanted her back. He still cared for her,he still loved her. He wanted to cheer her up and looked around. At the other side of the bar was a stage and he knew what to do. He was going to sing to her. He was going to sing to her,make her love him again.

He walked on the stage as the piano started to play. Dukedevlin had a microphone in his hands as he began to sing.

"DESPERADO" as soon Serenity heard these words she picked up her head and looked up. Her eyes met Dukedevlin's eyes as he continued to sing.
