A Christmas Surprise

K38: hey ya'll!!!

D: sup.

Kurama: Hello

Hiei: Hn.

K38: Hiei and Kurama aren't very happy….I kinda have them prisoner.

I grumbled. I figured it was Mrs. Yoshimeku trying to get my spirits up with gifts. So far I've gotten a bunch of crap from her. I opened to door not bothering to look.

"Mrs. Yoshimeku I don't…" I looked up and almost dropped dead.

"I know I look like a girl, but, I don't look old," he smiled. "Do I?"

The person in my doorway was no girl. It was the cutest guy I have ever seen. He had long light red hair, which stopped about mid-back. I wish I could get my hair to look that good. His eyes….yeah his emerald eyes…..you could get lost for hours in. They held happiness joy and passion.

I shook my head. "Oh….ah no….no, not at all." I blushed

"I'm only kidding."

"Oh, my bad."

I shifted my weight at the silence. What am I doing? Why am I such a loser at times like this?! I thought to myself.

"So, can I help you with something?" I could feel my cheeks warm up. Get a hold of yourself!!

"Oh, sorry, I'm collecting donations for the orphans of Kyoto and Tokyo. I was wondering if you would like to donate?" he explained as he pulled out a flyer from his brown jacket.

"Um, sure I'll donate. Please come in and make yourself at home. I'll just be um……a second." I let him in and closed the door behind him and rushed into my room looking for my money.

"It's ok, I'm not busy take your time." He said as I rushed into the next room. "By the way my name is Shishu, but you can call my Kurama."

I like that…..Kurama. Mine's A.J. but, everyone calls me Neko." I said as I crept behind him.

"Why Neko?" He asked.

"Heh, heh because," I hissed "I'm quiet and fast like the cat……and I like to sleep a lot." I snickered.

He jumped a little and replied "I see."

"Here, take this." I handed him twenty bucks.

"Oh, my, this is too much." He said as he started to make change.

"No, no, it's ok. I don't need it for anything. I'm not buying Christmas gifts for a family that doesn't exist." I replied and stopped him smiling.

He stared at me for a while and I just looked at the ground. He smiled gently and said. "Thank you."

I walked him to the door as I stared at the ground not talking. We said our good byes and just as I closed the door he stopped me. I blinked and opened the door all the way. Is he blushing?

"Are you ok? I asked confused.

"Yes, I'm fine. But, I just wanted to know…..since you were so kind, I could thank you by…taking you to dinner?" His blushed deepened then I felt a blush creep across my face.

"Well, I um." He stopped me.

"It's the least I could do." I blushed even more till we were equal in color.

"If you want to I guess." I smiled a little. "When?"

"Tonight" he smiled brightly.

I blinked. "Um……alright."

K38: Ya'll like it? Cuz, I had fun writing it…you know I wrote 7 chapters in about 2 hours.

D: Stop bragging. It's not that hard…geez.

K38: You haven't even started yours. *smirks*

Kurama: Stop you two. HIEI!!!!

Hiei: Hn, review or else I kill you all. Hn.
