The redhead just sighed again, he was sitting in the park just watching as people passed him by. He had been doing a lot of this lately, watching people going on around him contemplating all of the chaos that was his life. It seemed that recently Koenma had been sending them on one pointless mission after another to eliminate some low class demon or wannabe evil doer . And the icing on the cake would be that his mother was soon going to be married and all of the wedding preparations were having a toll on him. Oh don’t be mistaken he was very happy that his mother was going to be marrying the man that had made her so happy but, listening to his mother and their friends talking about the color of the napkins and asking his opinion on which one to choose when they both looked the same to him was taxing. Though fate it seems really had it in for the young man when she decided that with his mother’s friends coming to his house so too did their daughters, and if he was hit on one more time by the dimwitted girls who hadn’t a clue who he actually was Yoko would have had a game of which deadly plant to use next.

“ You know you wanted to send the death tree after the blond himiko or whatever her name was” sounded the annoyed voice of the fox in his head.

“Yoko you know that we can’t do that to KIMIKO. We are already on probation with spirit world after you convinced me to steal that vase from the antique shop in Kyoto remember?” Kurama was at his wits end it seemed that with no puzzles to solve lately the fox wasn’t satisfied with just waiting in the wings for something to happen.

“ But they didn’t’ even know what it was that they had, how could they possibly have mistaken a priceless antique like that for a cheep knock off and sell it at that abhorring price and the treatment that it suffered from not being appreciated for what it was. What would you have had me done nothing , besides it serves them right for having that idiot appraise it anyway, why pay an uneducated fool like him that absurd salary when he can’t even tell the difference from a knock off and the real thing.” with this a picture of the fox seemingly pouting as he swooshed his tail behind him showed within Kurama’s mind

To this Kurama had no real come back it was true the appraiser that the shop had hired was an idiot and he wondered just how many authentic pieces had passed the shop by with him doing the job. He just shook his head , they both needed a distraction at this point, he was starting to agree with Yoko and that never meant any good for those who the statement was referring to. Just as Kurama had decided to call it a day and go back to the female torture session Hiei dropped down in front of him.

‘ having trouble with women now fox?’ the fire apparition said within his mind

‘ Nothing to worry over, anyway to what do I own the visit do say it isn’t another pointless mission from Koenma’ Kurama replied

‘ I agree if it is you can count us out I refuse to go wipe out a life unworthy of my time’ Yoko added his two sense to the discussion

‘ it is a mission but it seems to be interesting enough Koenma did mention something about a shrine and something impossible to exist again.’

‘ oh,’ to this you could just see a look of excitement alight the foxes eyes ‘you mean there could be a puzzle involved ,come on red lets go I want to see what has the toddler mumbling to himself this time’

‘ you know if we don’t get going soon he will be near insatiable right?’ Kurama asked his companion

‘Hn’ was the only reply he was given before the apparition disappeared in the portal hidden in the ally they had traveled to as they had talked.

Kurama just sighed before following Hiei into the portal and hoping that he was once again not wasting his time and having to listen to a sulking fox for the next hour.

~ this is the first time I’m writing a fic and I’m a horrible speller so just tell me if there is something wrong and before anyone says it yes I know it’s short but I am just starting and wanted some critiques of my style before I continue with my story.~
