Chapter Two
The next day at school, everyone knew about Rose and Kurama. Girls from all grades gave Rose dirty looks. While the men gave Kurama a hard time as well. Both were glad when the bell rang at the end of the day. Shiori made a delicious dinner and soon enough it was time for bed.
Rose looked up at the ceiling, deep in thought. She missed her parents and sister who was just a baby when she left. Kurama looked over and saw a tear run down Rose's cheek. He wiped it away with his finger. Rose turned her head to see Kurama.
"You miss your home?"
"Yes. I do."
"Don't worry. I'll help."
The two fell asleep, hoping that the next day would be a lot better.
The next day, Rose volunteered to get milk from the store. On her way back, she was grabbed by someone and brought into an alley.
"GET OFF ME!!!" Rose slammed a fist into the guy's face.
"Is that how you treat me?" asked the guy in a deep voice.
"It's you."
"That's right. So have you done it?"
"Done what?"
"Kill Kurama."
"No I didn't. It's not right."
"What do you mean?!" The guy grabbed Rose by the shirt collar.
"I'm not going to kill him."
"Fine, if you won't, then I will."
"NO! I won't allow you to."
"SHUT UP!" The guy slapped Rose in the face and walked away with her in his arms. "I'll do things my own way."
"It's getting late," Kurama said to himself. "What's taking her?" Kurama went back to his reading when suddenly a rock crashed through the window. "What the?" Kurama picked up the rock which had a piece of paper attached to it. Not waiting another second, Kurama opened the note.
Kurama,
I have Rose with me and she will die if you don't show up. There's a map. Be here before dawn or else!!!
Rusho
Kurama took the map and dashed out the door. He had to get to Rose before dawn or she'll die and that was something Kurama wouldn't allow. He traveled to Makai which was where Rose was. Makai was the home of all demons and a place that Kurama didn't like.
He traveled through forests, and rocky areas. Finally, Kurama reached the place. As he stepped forward, electric vines trapped him. Dawn was approaching fast and Kurama was trapped. Kurama took out a rose from his hair and turned it into a whip. He slashed the vines and ran in.
