She watched him from a high tree. He shivered in fear as he walked home. She just sat on the tree branch watched him. He kept turning his head to look back cause he felt as if someone was following him. She yawned.
"Better go talk to him now. I'm getting sleepy." she said to herself. She jumped out of the tree and landed in front of him.
"Hi!" she said.
"Ahhhh!!!!! It's you!!! The girl from the boat with the incredible power!!" said Kazuma.
"Whoa, take it easy. You must be Kazuma Kuwabara. Koenma told me to find you. He said that he talked to your sister and she agreed to let me stay at your house until I finish my case."she explained.
"How do I know that you're not an evil demon that just wants to get inside my house and maybe try to kill me or my sister or steal my kitten and eat her?!"asked Kazuma.
"Kuwabara, shes telling the truth now take her to your house. Shes probaly very tired after a long trip here from America." said Koenma's voice.
"Koenma?" Kazuma looked around. "Where are you?" he asked.
"Im talking to you from my office. Dont worry, only you and Zinnia can hear me."said Koenma's voice.
"Who's Zinnia?" said Kazuma scratching his head
"The girl standing next to you, you big oaf!! She'll be staying at your house until she finishes her case. You, Yuske, Hiei, and Kurama will be helping her. An army of powerful demons have made their way into the Ningenkai. They're very strong, cruel and tricky so be on your toes." With that Koenma's voice faded away.
"See? I was telling the truth." said Zinnia.
"I guess you were. I'll take you to my house, you can meet the others tomorrow." said Kazuma resuming his walk home. They walked to his house and Shizuru looked at them and smiled.
"You must be the girl the kid with the pacifier told me to give a place to stay to."said Shizuru. Zinnia smiled.
"Yep, thats me." she said. She looked at her surroundings. She smelled the air.
"Do they have a cat in here?"she thought.
"I'll show you to your room." said Shizuru.
As they walked through the house Zinnia looked around. At the sight of Kazuma's kitten a frightful squeak was heard from her pocket.
"What was that?!" asked Kazuma. Zinnia reached inside her pocket and pulled out a hamster.
"This is my pet hamster Yoko." The hamster yawned.
"Yoko?! Thats the name of Kurama's demon form." said Kazuma.
"Kurama?" asked Zinnia
"He's a friend of mine. You'll meet him tomorrow." said Kazuma.
He opened the door that lead to a room with a bed, closet, and a window.
She walked inside "This is the guest room" said Shizuru.
"I hope you'll be comfortable here." said Kazuma.
She smiled. "Thank you very much for giving me a place to stay. I really appreciate it."said Zinnia setting her backpack on the bed.
"Your very welcome" said Shizuru. With that they both left.
Zinnia looked around. Yoko jumped out of her pocket and onto the bed and made himself cozy. "People in Japan sure are friendly." said Zinnia.
Yoko nodded and squeaked in agreement. Yoko's stomach growled. Zinnia snapped her fingers and small pile of sunflower seeds appeared in front of Yoko. He squeaked happily and ate. She looked out the window.
"Full moon tonight." she thought. "Get some rest Yoko, tomorrow is gonna be a big day." The hamster yawned and went to sleep. She layed down next to him and slowly closed her eyes drifting into a deep sleep.
