Hiei: Baka!

Kurama: Thanksgiving is coming up and she thought she should give her readers a surprise for Thanksgiving.

Hiei: What in the hell is Thanksgiving?

ITS: *sigh* that is what this story is for…

Hiei: Hn

Yusuke: I'm hungry!

Kuwa: Me too!

ITS: You both are always hungry!

Kurama: *sigh* on with the story….

ITS: I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho or it's characters… and I don't own Thanksgiving even though I call it Turkey Day….

~*~*~*~*~* Yu Yu Hakusho Thanksgiving*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Everyone was getting ready for Thanksgiving. Botan and Keiko had to explain to Yukina what Thanksgiving was and as soon as they were done Yukina wanted to help with the cooking which Botan and Keiko gladly accepted it. Genkai was going to cook as soon as she found out that Keiko, Yukina and Botan were doing it. She thought their was enough people in the kitchen already so she thought she should just sit in the den and sip on some tea.

Yusuke and Kuwabara kept whining about being so hungry. So the girls told them to go shopping for food for the meal that night. After some bruises and hand prints on the face Yusuke went with Kuwabara to go and get some food. Kurama thought he should go with them just in case they didn't know what to get. He had a feeling they would go to the arcade instead of shopping.

Hiei on the other hand had no clue why everyone was so excited. So he just acted like nothing was going on and sat on the window sill like he usually does. The girls were sitting in the den waiting for Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Kurama to come home with the food. Keiko was talking about Yusuke in his adolescent years and what he used to do and then she would talk about Kuwabara and the funny things he did, which also meant it was very humiliating for them. After that they began to play the game truth or dare.

"Hiei, do you want to play truth or dare? It is a very fun game, please play with us," Yukina asked. Course Hiei couldn't turn it down at that point he saw that she gave the innocent happiness look in her eyes.

"Hn…" Hiei was trying to hold back a yes. He knew what Botan and Keiko were capable of with truth or dare games, considering that he has seen them do it before with Yusuke and Kuwabara. They always got Kurama to make him do humiliating things too. Hiei played one time and that was it for him after Yusuke made him kiss Botan… He always would feel sick to the stomach just thinking about it.

"Please, Hiei?" Yukina asked in a more pleading tone than before.

"Fine, but you must agree to this," Hiei started.

"What?" Keiko asked.

"That I get to turn down at least three dares, and that I can turn down dares that include my name in them…especially the kissing ones…" Hiei said. He grinded out the kissing part of the deal.

"Ok…" The girls said in unison. They all started giggling when Hiei mentioned it except for Botan she remembered the last time they played truth or dare and Hiei only glared at her.

They began playing with simple truth or dares. Hiei learned from experience that the truths were easier.

"Ok, I pick…..hmmm….*evil look* Hiei!" Botan said. "Truth or dare?"

"Hn, truth," Hiei said.

"Aw, come on Hiei pick a dare!!" Botan said.

"If I did then I would still be able to turn it down..."

"Hmph! Well then…hmmm……do you like human girls?" Botan asked. She didn't have any good ideas to ask him and she knew if she asked him who Yukina's brother was he would only kill her on the spot.

"Hn, no" Hiei said.

"Then do you like demon girls?" Botan asked.

"You can only ask one question." Hiei said.

"Fine!" Botan said back.

"Now, it's Hiei's turn!" Keiko said.

"Fine, Keiko truth or dare, *mumbles under breath* God I hate this game…" Hiei said.

"Hmm…Dare me!" Keiko said.

"Hn, When Yusuke gets home you have to kiss him" Hiei said. He was getting Keiko back for the last time he had to do this.

"O….k…." Keiko said while blushing.

"Alright Keiko your turn!" Yukina said.

"Yukina, truth or dare?" Keiko asked.

"Hmmm….dare." She said. Everyone was rather surprised that she was a daring type of person.

"I just wanted to see what you guys could dare me with," Yukina said.

"Ok! I dare you to kiss Hiei!" Keiko said getting Hiei back for earlier.

"I decline," Hiei said calmly.

"Damn it!" Keiko said. Everyone was really surprised that she said that. They knew Keiko was the type of person who doesn't cuss or do anything bad.

"Oops sorry…he he," Keiko said.

As soon as she said that the boys got back from shopping. They were carrying lots of bags of food and Yusuke and Kuwabara were out of breath. Kurama of course wasn't out of breath at all. He knew not to race them up the stares to the temple.

"You're home!" Botan said.

"Let's hurry up and start cooking!" Keiko said.

"Hold on Keiko! You have to carry out Hiei's dare!!" Botan said while reminding Keiko of Hiei's dare.

"Oh….right….." Keiko said while blushing.

"What dare?" Yusuke asked.

"Hn," Hiei only smirked and headed toward the window sill.

"Go and do it Keiko you have to!" Botan said while giggling.

"Fine, gosh," Keiko said. She then ran up to Yusuke and kissed him. It was for a split second and then she took the bags from his hands and ran toward the kitchen.

"Huh?" Yusuke was rather confused.

Everyone was just giggling and `Woo-hoo-ing' Yusuke and Keiko. While Keiko was in the kitchen she was as red as a beet. Her whole face was a bright red cherry color. Yusuke was blushing as well. His blush was about equal to Keiko's.

"Ha Ha! Urameshi's girlfriend finally kissed him!!" Kuwabara was rolling in laughter.

"Yes," Kurama was stifling a laugh as well.

"Urrrggghhh!! SHUT UP!!" Yusuke, realizing that he was embarrassed and now being mocked wasn't too happy.

"Let's just start cooking. I don't want to have Thanksgiving at 10:00 at night." Genkai said. She too was laughing at Yusuke.

"Yes, I'll take everything into the kitchen," Kurama said.

When Kurama was done, everyone was in the den watching TV. Kurama offered that he should help the girls but they insisted that they could do it themselves. Everyone was in the den anxiously waiting for Thanksgiving and they were so hungry. Yusuke and Kuwabara were practically drooling. Genkai was going to have to give them a clothes line clip to stop them from smelling to food and also to stop them from ruing her floor.

"Man, I am soo hungry!" Kuwabara said.

"Maybe, we can go and test the food to see if it is done. We can have an early Thanksgiving," Yusuke said.

"What is this Thanksgiving you are all so excited about?" Hiei asked.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THANKSGIVING IS?!" Yusuke and Kuwabara asked in unison.

"No," Hiei said.

"It is when we celebrate the pilgrims and the Indians sharing food with one another and not fighting," Kurama said.

"Why were they fighting?" Hiei asked.

"Because the Indians were very angry with the pilgrims for taking their land and the pilgrims didn't like the Indians because they were savages," Kurama said.

"I would kill them too if they took my territory without my permission," Hiei said.

"Yes, you would do that," Kurama said. "But you see that is the point. They didn't fight and shared a dinner on a Thursday and that is why we always celebrate it on a Thursday. They then called it Thanksgiving," Kurama said.

"Hn," Hiei said.

"Hello everyone!" Botan said.

"IS THE FOOD DONE!!?" Yusuke and Kuwabara asked.

"No," Botan said while holding Yusuke and Kuwabara back from the kitchen.

"I made some cute outfits for everyone to wear!!" Botan said.

"WHAT?!" Yusuke and Kuwabara said.

"Oh no…." Kurama said.

"Well you won't see me in that outfit!" Hiei said.

"I made everyone an outfit! Including you Hiei! You can choose to be an Indian or a Pilgrim. So which one do you want to wear?" Botan asked.

"Hn, neither. I told you I am not wearing those damn outfits," Hiei said.

"I am doing this to stall time and I already made the background outside in the backyard," Botan said. Yusuke and Kuwabara were laughing at Hiei because both pictures of seeing Hiei in a pilgrim outfit and an Indian outfit were making them cry because it was so funny.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Yusuke and Kuwabara were still rolling on the floor in painful laughter.

"That means both of you too," Botan said.

"WHAT?!!" Yusuke and Kuwabara said again.

"Yes, one of you will be a pilgrim the other something else," Botan said.

"I am going to be a pilgrim and Yukina is going to be one too. Keiko will be a Pilgrim as well. I need Hiei and Kurama to be the Indians. And Kurama you can be Squanto and Hiei you can be Little Squanto, since I can't think of the other Indian's names. Or Hiei you could be the Turkey," Botan said.

"What?!! Hell no!!" Hiei said.

"Then I guess Genkai do you mind being the turkey?" Botan said. "Please the picture will be soo cute!"

"I will not be a turkey," Genkai said. "I would rather be a pilgrim."

"Ok, and Yusuke I guess you will have to be the Turkey." Botan said.

"What?! Why me?!" Yusuke asked.

"Because we need a turkey and I can only have two Indians. Hiei and Kurama can be the Indians. Kuwabara and everyone else will be pilgrims. I couldn't find anymore Indian outfits at the store on Halloween," Botan said.

"You have been planning this since Halloween?" Yusuke asked.

"Yes, I have!" Botan said.

Keiko and Yukina walked out in their outfits and had on very confused faces.

"Um…why are we dressing up again?" Keiko asked.

"Because it will be a cute Thanksgiving picture!" Botan said.

"Oh," Yukina and Keiko said.

"Well, I'm sure as hell won't dress up for some stupid picture!" Hiei said.

"Alright then no Sweet Snow for a whole month. We were going to have it for dessert tonight but I guess you won't have any."

"Arrrghh," Hiei was growling.

"Does that mean you don't want any Sweet Snow?" Botan asked.

"Give me the damn outfit, NOW!" Hiei was not too happy about having to dress up and the fact that he wouldn't get any Sweet Snow if he didn't.

Kurama and the rest of the guys who weren't dressed went to their rooms and dressed up. Yusuke took some bribing to get him into the Turkey outfit. But after a few hits and punches from Keiko he did it. Hiei wasn't too happy about his outfit.

"Are you ready to go, Little Squanto?" Botan said.

"Don't call me that," Hiei said while growling.

"Ok, well let's get ready for the picture!" Botan said.

Everyone was setting up for the picture. Botan we getting the camera and the legs all perfect so that it could automatically take a picture. Hiei had his little rubber axe and had paint on his face. The colors on both Hiei's and Kurama's were red and yellow. They had little feathers that were different colors in their hair. Hiei's feathers were hard to do because they had to put the little band with the feathers on it into his hair because it stuck up into the air. Kurama had his hair with little feathers tied into it. Yusuke was in his turkey outfit and had a little gobble under his chin. Everyone else were pilgrims and had little hats and the little shoes. The girls on the other hand had dresses that were from then and they had the little hats that tied under their chin. Kuwabara was wearing a black outfit and had on tights. His little knickers went to his knees and the little shoes had a little golden buckle on it. Everyone was ready for the picture and the wooden table was in the background.

"Ready?!" Botan said. "Say cheese!" Hiei of course had a scowl on his face and wasn't too happy about the outfit.

After the picture Hiei raced into the house and took off the clothes he was wearing and put on his regular clothes. Everyone was doing the same thing, especially Yusuke. Keiko thought he looked cute in his outfit and so did Yukina. After they were done undressing the food was done and ready to be served.

"Who is ready for some food?" Keiko asked.

"MEEEE!!" Yusuke and Kuwabara said together.

"Then let's eat," Botan said.

Hiei sat close to a corner of the table and ate his food as well. He liked the turkey a lot, but was waiting for the Sweet Snow to come out. Yusuke and Kuwabara were eating everything on their plates while everyone else was carrying on a conversation. When dessert came Hiei ate all of the ice cream and luckily Kurama bought two gallons of it.

When everyone was done eating they were tired and ready to go to bed. They were full of food and tired. Hiei headed to his tree. Botan headed to her room in Genkai's temple. Keiko and Yusuke headed back to their neighborhood and Kuwabara said his goodbyes to Yukina, which were a lot of goodbyes. Yukina went to bed at Genkai's along with Genkai going to her room to sleep as well. Everyone had a tasty and embarrassing Thanksgiving!!
