Torture

Kurama awoke with Ria under his arm. He gently kissed her forehead and watched her eyes flutter awake to a new day.

“That's a great way to be woken up.” She smiled and kissed his chin, “I need a bath.”
Kurama nodded, “Hai, so do I.”
Ria's eyes looked away shyly as a smile crept upon her face, “How about we take one together?”
Kurama smiled in the same fashion and nodded.

In no time at all they found themselves in the bath together. Kurama's arms encircled Ria, his chest warmly pressed against her back. Ria blew the bubbles in the air and leaned back against Kurama.

“This is heaven.” She sighed warmly
“Truly.” He agreed.
“What do you want to do after this?”
Kurama shrugged, “I don't know. Do you have anything specific in mind?”
“Back to the garden maybe?”
“Sounds like a plan to me.”

Kurama began washing her back, humming a sweet tune

“That's pretty. Where did you hear it?” Ria looked into his eyes
“From a good friend.”

Kurama's thoughts again went to Hiei. He did miss the little hi youkai, but he was in love now. Kurama's heart now belonged to a flower maiden of some sort. He sighed and took in a deep breath. Things would work themselves out somehow and his world would no longer confuse him. He felt a feather light kiss on his cheek and realized that his beloved had turned around and was now showering him with affection. Kurama couldn't help but respond.

Ria quickly straddled Kurama's hips, feeling something grow beneath her. She let a sweet smile play on her lips as Kurama's hands moved up her body and into her hair.

“You are so lovely.”
“Hai, and so are you.”
“Ai shiteru” Kurama took a firm grasp on her hips and slowly impaled her

Ria's moan was loud, and thank god his mother was not home to hear it. He gently began kissing and nibbling on her neck. Kurama loved the taste of her skin. Even though the bath changed it slightly, it was still just as alluring. But his lips didn't stay there long. He had to have her lips, and the taste of her tongue in his mouth. He ran his tongue from her neck to her chin then his lips sought out hers.

Their kiss was passionate; she parted her lips to accept his tongue. It was heaven for Kurama, to be inside this wonderful creature, feeling her ride him like a horse on a warm spring's afternoon. He could slightly hear the water hitting the floor as their movement became more rapid. Finally they both let out a silent cry to the heavens.

Ria sighed and laid her head upon Kurama's shoulder.

“That was so good.”
All Kurama could do was nod his head as he caught his breath.

Eventually they truly did wash and found themselves getting dressed in Kurama's room.

“What should we plant today my love?” Ria slid on a sock
“What would you like to plant?”
“A flower of some sort would be nice. Something that symbolizes you and me, it could be like our own child. How does that sound?”
Kurama finished zipping up his pants and sat by Ria on the bed. “How about we make a child of our own?”

Once those words left his mouth Ria jumped from the bed and looked at him in fear.

“Dooishitano?”
“You asked me to have your baby.”
Kurama laughed and pushed his bangs from his eyes, “I mean in the future.” He stood and walked gracefully to her, pulling her into his embrace. “Years down the line. We can marry and have beautiful, wonderful children.”
Ria nodded, “You scarred me there for a second.”
Kurama giggled and hugged her tightly, “Let's go plant that flower, I have something great in mind.”

Hiei was quite disgusted by this whole ordeal. That bitch has no right to him. She is lucky that I have a deal with her admirer, or I would have promptly cut off her head. When is Masahi going to return with that damn potion?

Kurama and Ria both raced down to the kitchen, Kurama was determined to make her breakfast.

“But you don't even know what I want.” She yelled down to him.
“What do you mean? I can read your mind.”
“Then tell me my prince, what do I crave this morning?”
“Blueberry pancakes, eggs over easy, with bacon.”
A shocked look took her face, “I guess you can read my mind.”
“Always love.”

Hiei could smell the food cooking from outside the house, he sighed missing the mornings when Kurama would cook for him. The little wench stole my breakfast too! She will die for this. Hiei grumbled offhandedly to himself for a few more minutes, almost forgetting that he was to be watching the couple.

“Are you ready?”
Hiei was on his feet with sword in hand, “Appearing before me without warning is a very dangerous, not to mention foolish thing to do.”
“Oh hold your horses; you do it all the time to others.” Masashi handed a flask to Hiei, “Here, this is called Lovers Bane. Once Kurama consume this drink and have “relations” they then begin to have doubts of each other. This potion will make them paranoid and I'm pretty sure you know what that will do.” Masashi winked at Hiei

Hiei nodded and flitted away. An evil smile raked across Masashi's face. That fool, he'll soon be poisoning his love and Ria will be mine!

It was late in the afternoon. Kurama and Ria had planted what Kurama called the midnight flower.

“It blooms only in midnight.” Kurama explained, “And when day comes, it becomes just a seed again.”
“And this is how you describe our love?”
“Yes, something that will blossom over and over again.” He leaned over and kissed her gingerly.

Suddenly Kurama felt a jolt in his body. Hiei was calling him, and urgently. He looked at Ria with worried eyes.

“Dooishitano?”
“Someone needs my help, I'll be back shortly.”
Ria stood with him, “I can help too.”
“No, I don't want you getting hurt if there is any danger.”
“I can protect my…”
“There is no time for debate.”

Kurama took off running leaving Ria calling out for him. Hiei's in trouble, I must go to him. He'd never call me unless he really needed my assistance. Kurama ran faster until he found himself in the middle of a forest. There he saw Hiei lying at the base of a tree.

“Hiei!” Kurama ran to his side and propped Hiei's head into his lap. Nothing seemed to be wrong, in fact, he seemed to be just sleeping. “Hiei?”

Hiei opened his eyes and looked at the kitsune curiously.

“Are you alright Hiei?”
“Aren't you tired of saying my name now?”
“Nani?”
“You've been calling me for the past half hour baka.”
“Me? But you called me first.”
“Hai, and you came, but you didn't have to make such a fuss.”
“I thought you were in danger.”
Hiei laughed and shook his head, “Iie, I wanted to talk to you.”
“About?”
“Us, this little feud is quite childish.”
“But it wasn't I who initiated it. Are you sure you're alright. You don't seem to be the Hiei I know.” Kurama crossed his arms firmly with a scowl on his face. “What are you up to?”
“Gomen, you are right. This if but a trick to get you…away from her!” Anger now gripped Hiei features
“What's going to happen to her Hiei?! What did you do?!” At this point Kurama was shaking furiously
“Nothing baka, I just wanted you away from her, and here with me.”
“Why?”
“Don't you see what's she's doing to you?”
“What is she doing to me?”
“She's cast a spell on you, she's an enchantress.”
“Oh spare me your petty jealousies.”
“You can't see it because she has you blindfolded. But she is slowing taking your power.”
“Really?” Kurama narrowed his eyes at him
“Here,” Hiei offered the flask to him, “this is from the makai. It will erase any illusion she has put on you.”
“And if there is no illusion?”
“Then nothing will happen.”
“Fine, I will drink this and prove you wrong Hiei.”

Kurama open the flask and sniffed, it had no odor but something told him this was bad news. He looked to the little hi youkai and sighed. I'll be damned if he tries to push me away from her. He took three solid gulps and looked Hiei in the eye. They both waited a few minutes, but nothing happened. Kurama shook his head.

“I told you she did nothing to me.” Kurama stood then felt incredibly dizzy, “What?”
“Kurama?”
Kurama fell down and looked at Hiei in amazement, “What did she…”

Kurama fell unconscious and a smile spread over Hiei's face. He is mine once more wench.

Ria had waited for Kurama till his mother arrived.

“Ria, what are you doing here?”
“Konban wa. Shiori-san, I am waiting for your son. He has been gone since late afternoon and I'm worried.”
“Do you know where he went?”
“A friend called and it was an emergency.”
“Which one?”
“He didn't tell me, he just took off.”
“I see, don't worry. I'll call around and see if anyone's seen him.”

And as if Hiei had perfect timing, there was a knock at the door. Shiori opened it to find him with Kurama leaning on him for support.

“Oh Kami, what's wrong with him.”
“He's sick I believe. Maybe the flu, he was out in the water.”
“Why was he in the water?”
“My sister was lost and we looked around for her in the forest and found her in the lake. I think I might be catching a cold as well.”
“Is she ok?”
“Yeah she's in the same boat as Shuuichi, but she'll be ok.”
“That's good. I didn't know you had a sister Hiei.”
Hiei nodded, “Neither did I until a few months ago.”
“Oh, how did you find out?”
Hiei sat Kurama on the couch, “Gomen, I must return to my sister, I trust you'll take good care of him.”
“Hai.” Shiori nodded as Hiei quickly left and waved his goodbyes, “I guess we should get him to bed ne?” Shiori smiled
“Hai.” Ria nodded

Kurama tossed and turned. His mind was screaming deceit. How could she do this to me?! I loved her, I gave her my heart! He sat up and found her asleep in a chair next to his bed. Kurama would have strangled her if he had the strength. But for some strange reason he still held love in his heart for her. He laid back and closed his eyes. I need rest right now. I'll deal with this tomorrow.

Hiei watched from the window. Everything was in place now. But when will Kurama get better? Something in the gut of Hiei's stomach just told him he had been tricked! Masashi better hope that Kurama is alright or I'll have his life and the girls!
