Seeing Another Side of You
Guess what. I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho. Serenity is mine and mine only!
"Did you hear that?" Kurama asked
"Hear what? I didn't hear anything." Kuwabara replied.
"It came from across the forest." Kurama looked around. "Where did Hiei go?"

"Do it, you stupid girl!" the demon ordered.
"No, bastard." Serenity said through gritted teeth.
"You are under MY control! Your power is mine! Now, do it!" Serenity couldn't fight the demon's power controling her. The color drained from her eyes and she looked straight ahead.....straight to Hiei. "Are you happy now?! Kill her or die! Either way, one of you dies!"
"Kuso...." Hiei muttered.
"Hiei!" Yusuke called upon entering the clearing.
"This is perfect! Kill them all with one attack!"
"Hiei! What the hell are you waiting for?!" Serenity took stance.
"I trust you." Serenity said more to herself. The entire clearing turned white as snow, and the ground rumbled.
"That's right! Kill them all!" the demon kept shouting.
"Hiei! I hope you know what you're doing!" Yusuke yelled.
"Just hit the demon. Don't hit her." Hiei ordered.
"Since when do you care who gets killed?"
"Just do it!"
"Okay! Okay! Sheesh." Yusuke positioned his arm and fired. The demon didn't see the blast coming and was knocked off balance. Serenity immediately snapped back to reality.
"Shit...." she cursed under her breath. The clearing slowy regained its color.
"Damn you all! Don't think I'll let you get away!"
"Go ahead, try to keep me ammused."
"You're so cocky, now aren't you? Let me show you that I'm not the only one." Demons quickly lined the edges of the clearing and the demon let out a long laugh.
"Ummm....let's see...." Kuwabara counted on his fingers. "There's....wow, that's a lot of demons."
"Thank you, Captain Obvious." Yusuke said.
"I don't care how you do it! I just want them all dead!" The demons closed in a tighter circle, ready for the fight.
"I don't have time for this."
"Have fun!" The four began their fight while Serenity drew her sword, cut through the demons that stood in her way, and ran after their leader. The demons had only been lower class, probably for a rouse.
"Where'd that girl go?" Kuwabara asked, making his Spirit Sword disappear.
"Wait....now where'd Hiei go?" Yusuke questioned. There was an explosion across the forest followed by ki rising and falling. "That might be a lead."

"As you are now learning, I'm a lot stronger than you first thought. But now, I haven't had time for a proper introduction." the demon said.
"Well, go ahead. Who are you, bastard?" Serenity asked mockingly, holding pressure to the wound on her shoulder.
"My name is Himura. Years ago, Hiei managed to kill my brother. As a bit of payback, I'm going to kill you after killing your mother."
"Kisama...." Serenity gritted her teeth to keep from lashing out.
"It was the perfect timing! I planned to get rid of her anyway, but she fell ill only days after you were born! The timing made it look like you killed her! I pinned you against each other, and that was better than any death! And you, you are only a weak half-breed. How can you expect to beat me?"
Serenity closed her eyes in response.
"What's this? Surrender?"
"Not hardly." Her eyes opened, gleaming blood red. "Hold on tight, because you're in for one hell of a ride." She did a quick spin, drawing her sword when she hit a Batou Jitsu stance halfway through the spin. She took off with her feet not touching the ground. She went through the air even faster than usual. Himura managed to jumped back and avoid a fatal hit, but the blade left a deep gash across his torso. He took a leap into the air, and Serenity followed. This brought close combat. Serenity landed back on the ground while Himura fell, leaving a giant crater.

So there he lay, in his grave, my mother's killer was finally dead. Well, he sure explained a lot. I resheathed my sword after wiping a majority of the blood off. Me eyes were downcast for a moment before I began to walk off. I really need time to think about what just happened. I was walking so if anyone wanted to catch up with me, they could.
"Serenity-san," I turned to find the old hag again. "Are you feeling better?"
I nodded, lying, of course.
"Would you like to keep your human form?"
"No, I'll stay as you see me now."
"And all seems well?"
"Yes. One incident, that's all. I can go back to wandering now."
"You find this to be best?"
"I do."
"Well, safe travels, Serenity-san." She disappeared from sight with that, and I took off running. Running, it was a great way to relieve stress for me.....well, that and killing anyone that gets in my way. A smirk crossed my face. Tonight would be fun....bloody. I didn't want to speak to my father ever again. It all became horribly real. I never wanted to see him. I enjoyed my life as a wanderer. I enjoyed a carefree, lonely lifestyle. It was fun to do what I pleased with no one telling me "You shouldn't do that." or "You're not allowd." or "Don't stay out too late." To make my life complete, I needed one last thing. I had to go to Spirit World and find a few old friends to get it.

"Gotcha! Aren't you beautiful?" the girl said, fingering the treasure.
"Simple, ne?" Serenity responded, grabbing a jewel from the stand.
"You think they would have better security." another girl said.
"I won't let you get away!" a guard yelled, rushing at them. The first girl drew something, and he was in pieces moments later.
"Let's hurry. I don't feel like dealing with them anymore."
"Agreed."

"This happened yesterday." Koenma said. "Those treasures have to be brought back here!"
"Your dad's on vacation, isn't he?" Yusuke mused.
Hiei balled his fists in his pockets. "Serenity no baka." he whispered.
"Something wrong?" Kurama asked.
"Hn. Nothing is wrong."
Kurama gave him that 'You're-lying-don't-try-to-hide-it' look.

"Aren't you worried? I mean, they've probably got the spirit detectives on our trail as we speak."
"Shut it, Amira." Serenity ordered.
"And I suppose you've got something better to say?" the one named Amira demanded.
"Children, can we save it for the people who are after us?" another girl said, a bit frustrated.
"I don't mind, Tai."
"Neither do I."
"Then it's settled. You two need to stop your shit." Tai said.
"Save it all for them." Amira smirked.
"Hai. Save it all for them." Serenity muttered.

I'm on fire with my updates today! I just wrote I think three or four. that's great for me! I had a huge writer's block near the end of all my chapters, but I'm all better! Review it! I think this story is one of my worst writings. *Mutters curses* I'm considering discontinuing it. *Sigh* Anyway. I'm thinking of doing a Yu Yu Hakusho crossover into the movie 'The Count of Monte Cristo'. I LOVE that movie. I just need casting! (And maybe a movie script!) Who should I make Edmond Dantes? Maybe Hiei or Yusuke. *Sniff* But I'll have to kill my Kurama-kun if I give him the propper character. Anyway, suggestions for other movies are welcome as well as reviews!
