Chapter 2: Where to Find an Angel

Last Time…

Next to his bed on the bedside table was a smaller picture in a frame of her holding a heart pillow that read, `Aishiteru forever in my heart.' Her eyes widened as she thought, `Oh. My. God. Is this the Suuichi I knew or did someone kidnap him and replace him?' She stepped backwards onto a squeaky floorboard awakening him. He noticed the room and he looked shocked not to mention devastated. "Um Misha I can expl-" he didn't get to finish when she ran back to her room and out the window into the darkness of the night.

This Time…

Kurama now fully dressed ran outside following her scent. `damn where could she be? She couldn't have made it that far already.' He thought. `She's always causing trouble why?' he ran a bit more. `But no matter what she does I can't help but feel…' he stopped running when he came to a park slide that seemed to have glowing on it. `…A lot less lonely than before…' he thought seeing her magenta hair. She was in her white dress from earlier. "Why was his room like that? Is it used for something?" he heard her ask to nothing but herself. "Before I just liked him for what he was but now I don't know.." Suddenly Takashi came running. Kurama hid behind a wisteria tree and watched. "Takashi! Why are you out of bed?!" exclaimed Misha still sitting on the tower she was on. "Onee-chan I got a call from our boss we have to hurry!" Misha stood up immediately and before Kurama knew it they were gone. The only things that were there in the place they were at were two pristine white feathers. He caught them and called Botan to open a portal to Reikai. He was going to find out what job that the siblings had no matter what.

Angel: Should we end here?

Azumi: No you idiot the chapter is too short!

Angel: Ow why'd you hit me?!

Koenma assembled the Reikai Tantei at the hearing of Kurama's dilemma. "Kurama do you have any items left behind from them?" Kurama nodded and pulled out the two feathers. Koenma's (teenage form might I add) eyes widened. "Those are angel wings.." he trailed. Kurama looked even more so shocked. "You mean she's something from," he pointed upwards. "Up there?" Koenma shook his head. "No her kind aren't really from anywhere my father had created them in all areas so they live any which place they wish but for a price." Said Koenma. "What is that price?" asked Yusuke curious. "They are immortal now along with those who have a special connection with them, but for them not to become mortal like humans and demons they must work for either me or my father." Suddenly Misha and Takashi came through the door. "Koenma your.." Takashi trailed off as they saw the Spirit Detectives. "Suuichi?!" they both shouted.
