Ashita Moshi Kimiga Kowaretemo (Even If Tomorrow Dies)
Disclaimer: I don't own anything at all. If I did... Yu Yu Hakusho would be longer than it is, and I would put myself in the story... Yup. Though I DO wanna own Youko Kurama...
Summary: Sequel to Sayonara wa Mirai no Hajimari. Sixteen years has passed since he left. Everybody has moved on with his death, but I haven't. My memories were too much for me to forget. His image still burns in my heart.
Note: I'm gonna try to get this one to be more... cheery. The other was quite angsty, and I want some chocolate... Need to get on sugarhigh.
'Sixteen years has passed since he left. Everybody has moved on with his death, but I haven't. My memories were too much for me to forget. His image still burns in my heart. There's no way I can live on. But I have to. I try to get through life with happiness spread through my face. Yet deep down inside... Nobody knows how much it hurts. So much... That even I don't.'
I slowly got away from my desk, and began to take a nap before I heard pacing infront of my door. Suspicious, I slowly peeked outside.
O... It's that stupid bastard again... That damned class C demon who won't stop asking me out. Stupid stalker. Where's my knife? Dammit! He saw me.
"Konnichiwa, Darrien! How are you?" I said, trying my best to smile nicely.
"Ohmygod! You're finally out! I've been waiting two days out here! ^^ Here, for you!" He brought out a big bunch of dead flowers.
"Thank you!" I twitched slightly, wanting to keep my cool. "So... what are you doing here?"
"Oh! I forgot! Ahem." He cleared his throat, then got on one knee.
This was me. ---> (O)_(O) "Oh Kami..."
"My dear love, would you give me the pleasure of going away with me to my father's summer house in Ningenkai for two weeks?" A cheesy smile and wink. Wow. What an impressive guy.
"Heh, heh... I'm sorry, but I have plans for this whole summer."
"Aw, come on!"
"Darrien, I-"
"Would be glad to go."
I looked up at my father, who was grinning like there was no tomorrow.
Darrien brightened up. "That's great! Alright! I'll come to pick you up in three days! Pack up!" With that, he ran away.
I watched him go, then looked at my father. "WHY IN THE THREE WORLDS DID YOU DO THAT?!"
"I'm only doing what's best for you. You really need to get another life, especially after his death. We all know that he won't come back." Raizen said.
"Shut up." I glared at him one last time before returning to my room with a slam of the door.
-----
I looked at my suitcase. It was full of knives and mini killing weapons, and some clothes on top to cover them up.. Around me, I had a big black cloak on, with a hood, to shadow my face. No way was anybody going to see me with that creep!
I went outside to talk to my father. "After this, I promise that I'll give you a long and torturing death. Hmph!"
He grinned and pointed to the door, where Darrien was waiting. Oh if only he could see himself now.
"C'mon, Myobu." I gestured the kitsune given to me by Youko into my arms. He was still as cute as the first day I saw him.
I followed Darrien into a jet, rarely seen in Makai, and seated myself as far as I can to him. Though throughout the whole trip, he just wouldn't stop chirping.
>><<
The foul stence of dreaded weak demons entered my nose as Kuwabara, Hiei, and I walked toward the pier. I saw Hiei wrinkle his nose in dismay, while Kuwabara was just there clueless.
"Heh... Such weak humans. They're better off as a meal." Whispers such as these flowed through the air when they spotted us. Where was Yusuke and the fifth fighter? Even though I didn't show it, I wanted this to be over with already.
"And continue your search for that onna." Hiei smirked at me.
I widened my eyes, not aware that he was searching through my mind. Emitting a low growl, I quickly shoved him out of my thoughts and glared.
Hiei's words to me were beknownest to Kuwabara's ears, so he just kept looking forward for the detective.
>><<
I looked out the window, watching the clouds blog my view.
It was then we passed through a bluish pink portal in which I knew led to the Human World. Sigh... Just five more hours.
As hard as I tried, I couldn't block out the voice of that baka. Just jabbering and jabbering. I could tell that the pilot was annoyed too.
"Say, how about after these two weeks we start planning out our engagment, eh?" Darrien took my hand into his, and began leaning in for a kiss.
Oh, my father is sure to pay...
Since I was leaning backwards as he came forwards, he took his left hand to my back, rubbing it as if trying to soothe me. Slowly he pushed me towards him, his eyes closed waiting for the soft impact.
I tried to escape from his grasp, but he was stronger than he looks. Guess you really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, ne?
"Dame! HENTAI!" I screamed out the last word as his lips just barely brushed against mines. I kicked him in the stomach, sending him flying just a few feet.
Just so suddenly as the kick came, so did the storm.
Uh oh...
Guess my anger went a little over the edge, didn't it?
There was rumbling in the distance, and the rain was splattering against the window like crazy. Then, the plane tiltled, driving everything and everyone to the right.
"The left wing was just hit!" The pilot yelled at us.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you!" Darrien said to me, his face full of worry, eyes shaking like there was no tomorrow.
"I think you're the one who needs protecting now." I said in a calming manner.
There were no parachutes aboard, I don't know WHO thought they were useless to not put them into the plane, but now, the only option was to jump.
The pilot already risked his life and went, and only Darrien and I were left. He was cowarding by the exit, too afraid to see the glares I directed at him.
"Oh Kami!" I forced my leg forwards and pushed him off. >.< What a sissy. I could hear his scream still.
At last I jumped down, Myobu in my hands, but to my suprise... It wasn't just water we were crossing... It was an island... Small... But benfitial.
Let's just hope we have a soft landing.
>><<
That storm... It came so fast and unexpected. All five of us had to enter back into the cabin of the ship and leave the dead bodies to soak.
We were so close to our destenation too...
"Rain, rain, go away... Come again another day..." Yusuke snorted in his sleep.
All of our attention was tured towards him, our eyes blinking rapidly in confusion. It was then Kuwabara's laughter that broke the silence.
"Hahahahaha! Urameshi! Hahahahahaha!!!" He pratically fell on the ground holding his stomach.
"Phfft. Baka." Hiei stared down at the idiot.
""Urusai~ Saru~" Yusuke remarked back.
Hiei and I grinned at the statement while Kuwabara started yelling at the snoozing boy.
>><<
The island we were heading towards wasn't a normal one. There was a stadium in the middle, and also what seemed like part of the island was hanging. And it was also very familiar. As if I saw it in a poster or something.
"Oh no." I heard Darrien whisper. "It's Hanging Neck Island..."
That's it...
The Dark Tournament...
-------------
Can anyone really blame me for such a sucky start? Huh?! I'm still in writer's block and trying my best to come up with the best plot... Oh... And I was thinking of making some Maya/Mana bashing in here...
I just saw her in the Black and White manga, and the color version of it... SHE SHALL DIE!!! Wah.... Though she looks ugly... Just not... perfect... For our beautiful Kurama.
'Altough Kurama was never able to explain his feelings to Maya, there love was interuppted.' Phfft... It says Kurama never told Maya his feelings for her was cause he was afraid of her safety. .V. Sorry for any Maya/Mana fans out there, but I just hate her so much!!!! Gr... Ahem! I just had to get that out.
