"HEY GUYS!!! WAIT UP!!!"Everyone turned around to see Himeko running after them.
"Where were you?"Yusaka asked.
"*Pant*My step uncle called me home, but he wasn't there.*Sigh*Then I got a chilly feeling and I thought something was going on here."Himeko explained.
"Oh...Uh..."Kazumahara looked at the others.
"Where's Shuillin-I mean, Skyler?"Himeko ran around the circle of friends,"I don't see her."
"Well...This creap showed up and took her somewhere."Heia said.
"Speaking of creap, where's Keiyosei-Uh...Mix master?"Himeko asked."First ting first. What creapy guy?"
"Uh...Orangish redish hair and-What?"Yusuke stopped in sight of Himeko's shocked face.
"That's my step uncle!"Himeko shook Yusuke.
"Is he an evil uncle?"Kuwabara asked.
"I think so... Is he supposed to be an evil uncle? Hm... Nope, I have no idea."Himeko shrugged and everyone sweatdropped.
"HOW CAN YOU HAVE NO IDEA?! HE'S YOUR UNCLE!"Yusuke yelled.
"That's where you're wrong. He's not my uncle. He's my step uncle."Himeko clarrified and Yusuke anime fell.
"I DON'T CARE! I-I hear something. C'mon, let's go!"Everyone ran in the direction of the sound of swords clashing.
~Tall grass field~
"Keiyosei!"Everyone ran up to him.
"I didn't think you guys would come..."Keioysei pointed to the battle."I didn't want you to miss this."
The man was striking Shuillin with all he's got. Shuillin matched his techniques and managed to scratch him a bit. Her clothes were stained with blood, but the man didn't seem to break a sweat. They created a giant clash and they both flew a number of yards.
"Give up!"The man yelled.
"That's not part of my plan, Soikaru!"Shuillin retaliated.
"His name is Soikaru?"Yusaka laughed.
The battle began again. The gang can tell Shuillin wasn't going to last long. Shuillin got stuck in another clash. Soikaru released one of his hands from holding his sword and gave Shuillin a major punch in the stomach. Blood burst from Shuillin's mouth and she dropped her sword. Soikaru through more punches while Shuillin lost more blood. Shuillin gathered enough strength to give him a kick under his chin. Soikaru flew back and Shuillin did a back flip landing on a tree branch. She wiped blood from the side of her mouth and jumped down. Shuillin stumbled a bit, but regained her balance.
"SHUILLIN! IT'S OKAY! LET US FIGHT WITH YOU!"Jin yelled.
"No... This is my battle."Shuillin panted.
"How touching. Almost makes me want to barf."Soikaru laughed.
Shuillin had only one option left. She charged at him and with all the energy she had left - spirit and life - she created a giant energy sphere. Pictures of her friends flashed before her. She remembered all the harsh times they've been through - working for Koenma, living on the streets, separating... Shuillin didn't even think this choice over. Once she did this, it wouldn't matter anymore... What mattered to her is that her friends would be safe. If she did not take Soikaru down now, her friends would be in grave danger.
"You wouldn't!"Soikaru was paralized.
"SHUILLIN!!! IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!"Kurama screamed.
A split second before the blast, the gang could have sworn...that they saw an innocent smile on Shuillin's face.

"SHUILLIN!!!"Keiyosei dropped to his knees.
"SIS!!!"Yusuke's echo was heard throughout the forest. Kurama tried to calm Yusuke down. Kuwabara cried along with Kazumahara. Hiei didn't see any point in crying, so he stood there staring at the ashes left behild in the battle. His eyes caught sight of a black rose where the blast had taken place.
"She's gone!!!"Himeko cried.
"No... She can't be... Shuillin always surprises us in the end... You'll see..."Jin started tearing.
"CAN'T YOU TAKE THE HINT?! SHE'S GONE FOR GOOD! IT'S ALL OUR FAULT!"Heia smacked Jin as tears streamed down her cheaks.
The gang mourned the lost of their friend. They thought it was the end...but little did they know, it was just the beginning...

Hiei:Finally some tragedy.
