Teshi: Sorry about the shortness to the prologue. I promise that I shall make it up to you.

Imaris: Yeah, she'll make it up to you all right. *Wink wink*

Teshi & Krishna: Imaris!

Teshi: * points at Krishna * She is your sister.

Krishna: Hey! She is yours too!

Teshi: * mumbles * Not by blood thankfully…

Imaris: *glares at both of them * I am standing with in hearing distance you know.

Teshi & Krishna: ^____^ We still love you!

Teshi: Now…who should we torture…

Krishna: Kuwabaka?

Teshi: No, he is too pathetic… (sorry Kuwabara fans)

Imaris: Hiei?

Teshi: hmmmm…he's a possibility…

Krishna: Kurama?

Teshi: * dreamy eyes *

Imaris and Krishna: * sweat drop *

Yuusuke: * walks into the room and looks at the three girls * Whatcha guys up to?

Teshi: * snaps put of her daydream and looks at Yuusuke all confused like * What are you doing here…?

Krishna: * shakes her head in disgust and walks over to Yuusuke * Teshi is off in her own little world again. Now, will you be so kind as to do the disclaimer for us? * gives Yuusuke cute little puppy dog eyes *

Yuusuke: Ha ha. I'm not that gullible.

Imaris: * walks up to Yuusuke and gives him her cutest puppy dog eyes * Puh-leez? For me, Yuusuke-chan?

Yuusuke: * melts on the inside but stays calm on the outside. Sighs * Fine. * turns towards the readers * She don't own Yu Yu Hakusho. So don't sue. She does own the characters listed in the disclaimer for the prologue. So if you use without permission she can sue you. Got it? Good.

It was a beautiful day at the park, with the wind blowing and the birds singing. It all made Yuusuke wish that he were anywhere else but here, especially because it was Keiko's idea to come here. As much as he likes the girl he just couldn't stand her idea of a date.

"Hey, Earth to Yuusuke. Come in Yuusuke." Keiko said while waving her hand in his face.

"Huh. Oh, sorry. What did you say?" he replied.

"I asked if you wanted to go get some ice cream, baka." She replied with a sigh. "Why can't you ever pay attention?"

"Sorry, Keiko. I didn't mean to ignore you. Ice cream is on me." He said as she hooked her arm in his.

"Of course it is. You are the guy in the relationship." Keiko said as she pulled him to the park exit.

Before they made it to the exit the wind changed and Yuusuke got the distinct feeling that they where being watched. As he turned around to look behind them he felt a build up of energy that was stronger than anything he felt before. And it was coming from a pair of human looking demons standing at the edge of the woods. The guy was a couple inches over six feet while the other was a short woman of about five foot five inches. The guy had shoulder length black hair and steel gray eyes. He was not extremely muscular, but he didn't look weak. He had on blue jeans and a black cut off shirt. The woman had short flame red hair that came down just below her jaw line and bright yellow eyes. She was wearing blue jean shorts and a black tank top.

"So, this is the big bad spirit detective." Said the short woman in a voice that sound like a cat's purr. "I thought he would be taller… and a little older."

"Hn. I never expected much from Koenma's puppet." Said the guy as he crossed his arms in front of him.

"Who the fuck are you?" Yuusuke asked as he positioned himself between Keiko and the two demons.

"Yuusuke, what is going on?" Keiko asked in a terrified voice.

"Keiko, when I say, run for it. Ok?" Yuusuke replied with out taking his eyes from the two demons.

At hearing what Yuusuke told Keiko the big demon laughed, if one considered the deep rumbling coming from him to be a laugh. "I am Sano and my little friend here is Kaede. Running would not be wise ningen onna." Said Sano, directing the lat comment to Keiko, who froze when she heard what he said.

"What do you guys want?" asked Yuusuke, losing his patience with the two demons standing in front of him.

"To see why a scrawny ningen like you has demons everywhere running for cover." Replied Kaede.

"Prepare to fight, detective." Said Sano as he began to power up.

"Hn." Was all that Yuusuke said as he dropped into a defensive stance.

Then all of a sudden Sano charged him. There was no warning. Sano came at Yuusuke and executed a spinning kick to Yuusuke's head, sending Yuusuke into a tree about ten yards away. As Yuusuke tried to get up the tree cracked and fell down on top of him.

"Yuusuke!" Screamed Keiko as she ran towards where he fell.

At the sound of Keiko's voice Yuusuke yelled out from beneath the tree, "Run, Keiko, run!"

Keiko stopped dead when she heard his voice and didn't move until she saw him heave the tree off of him.

"Ok, I'll find the guys for you." Keiko said as she turned and ran towards the exit. Only to be stopped as the demon woman, Kaede, appeared in front of her and grabbed her by the arms.

"Tsk tsk. Leaving before the show is over. How very rude of you." She said with a sadistic smile. "I think I need to teach you a lesson."

Meanwhile Yuusuke and Sano had picked up their fight again and Yuusuke was not winning. At hearing Kaede's threat to Keiko Yuusuke broke away from Sano.

"Don't you dare touch her, bitch." Yuusuke yelled at Kaede.

"He he, it's not her you should be worried about boy." Said Sano as he came at him again.

"Agh! Spirit Gun!" Yuusuke yelled as he took aim at Sano. The Spirit Gun took Sano square in the chest at full power. After the light cleared Sano was still standing in the same place completely unharmed. Sano laughed and sent a bolt of lightning at Yuusuke, which took Yuusuke down.

"Yuusuke!" Keiko yelled from across the clearing.

"Hn. Take care of the girl. She is getting annoying." Sano said as he turned back towards Kaede and Keiko.

"Sure thing, lover." Kaede replied.

Kaede swung Keiko around and released her, causing Keiko to ram into a tree. Keiko fell to the ground with a resounding thump. After laying on the ground for a few seconds Keiko began to struggle to her feet.

"Silly girl. You should have stayed down." Kaede said as she walked over to her and kicked her in her stomach before Keiko could manage to stand.

Keiko fell to the ground again with a small grunt of pain.

"Yu…. Yuusuke…" was all Keiko managed to say before she passed out.

"That was pathetic, barely worth our time to come to Ningenkai and test him. What a waste." Said Sano in disgust.

Kaede walked over to Sano and wrapped her arms around Sano's waste. "I know, Lover. I too thought that Koenma's puppet would be stronger."

(Koenma's Office later on that day)

Koenma was pacing back and forth across his desk. Every once and a while he would glance at the severally injured Yuusuke sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall. The rest Reikei Tentai where standing in there respective places and worrying about what has just happened. Kurama was leaning against a wall opposite Yuusuke, Kuwabara was sitting in a chair next to Koenma's desk and Hiei was sitting in the window sill looking out.

"How is Keiko doing?" Kurama asked Yuusuke.

Yuusuke sighed and covered his face with his un-injured hand. "The doctor's say that she will live, but they are not sure when she will wake from the coma." And with a yell of fury he balled his hand up into a fist and slammed it to the ground, causing the floor to dent. "Those bastards are dead!"

Suddenly Koenma had an idea and started to dig around in the files that surrounded his desk. "Botan. Where is Botan?!" he said while he started to pull out some files.

Then, as if on cue, Botan came rushing through the door, her marine blue hair flying behind her. "I'm here, what did I miss?"

"A lot…" Koenma told her. "Kurama please fill her in."

With a nod Kurama ushered Botan to a corner and told her about the situation they now found themselves in. As soon as she found out that Keiko had also been attacked Botan came to the point of almost being hysterical. Keiko and her had become good, steadfast friends in the past months since they met. As soon as Botan was composed she walked up to Koenma and asked what needed to be done.

"I need you to go to Makai and ask the Bikou Karyuudo to come and meet with me. Do not tell them what the meeting is about, just that I am willing to pay what ever amount for the job to be done." He told her as he handed her their files.

When Koenma had said this name Botan's jaw dropped, Kurama jumped as if he had been shocked by electricity and Hiei looked up in surprise. (^____^ Hiei surprised! Yay! *cough cough* ok, I'm done now…) They new that name, and what it applied.

"Why are they necessary?" asked Hiei in an extremely annoyed voice.

"Because, as the best bounty hunter's in Makai, they will have more information on him than we do. Not to mention that it is rumored that their power and skills are completely un-rivaled. Even by you guys." Koenma replied. "Now get going Botan. We have no time to lose."

"Right!" Botan said as she summoned her oar and took off through a portal that suddenly appeared in the office.

Koenma then turned back to the Reiki Tentai. "Now, you four must be extremely cautious. There is no telling if they are through with you guys yet or not."

Each of them replied in their own way. Kurama with a slight nod, Yuusuke with a grunt, Kuwabara with a smirk and Hiei with a "Hn".

Teshi: Phew! *wipes sweat off her forehead* Finally done.

Imaris: *snickers* Yeah, like writing this story was that hard.

Teshi: *rolls her eyes* No it's not that….Its just so goddamn hot here!!!!!

Imaris: True that.

Teshi: *looks around* Where did Krishna go?

Imaris: Well you took to long to type it and she got bored. So `Love' stopped by and picked her up. I think they are at his house.

Teshi: *scowls* They better not be alone…

Imaris: What? You don't trust her?

Teshi: It's not her that I don't trust; it's him I don't trust.

Imaris: Why?

Teshi: Cuz guys think with nothing but their pants, therefore they cannot be trusted.

Imaris: Evan Andy? *eyebrows wiggle*

Teshi: Especially Andy! Now! *turns all sweet and innocent* Read and Review. *turns evil* Or else!

Imaris: *sweat drop* I think she means it.
