Dead Light

Fallen from the highest

I see only dark;

my dream becoming nightmare,

death my only want.

See the light; so distant,

I see more than shadow.

My hope becoming failure,

wish for only closer death.

Into the blackness, fall,

want for faster death

but never comes, only;

blackness nears, my single call.

What dream is this,

so nightmare in its calming?

Why the black of hollow's end

never makes it known?

I see not the floor of hollow,

and bring a death, so sure it will,

but death will never answer me;

why must I suffer so?
