Chapter 4: Getting Situated

Monique stood infront of a Temple, the outside seemed to be designed in Brick and Stone,Painted the color of Brown. She slowly dropped the bag, that she had succsesfully picked up, dropped to her feet. Her eyes scanned along the walls of this place as she cast her eyes behind her feeling a famillar energy swell over her body.

She saw Hiei standing not far behind her, his hands tucked away in his Pockets, his eyes were his usual blank stare,emotionless. "Hn,Slow pokes they are." She heard Hiei say, under his breath,no feeling to his words. She looked him over and swore she saw him smirk. "Well those are alot of steps,you managed to get to the top,thanks to your speed." She heard him grunt and walks up right next to her. "Yea,as can you, once you learn your real self." She nodded in agreement. "Yes, I realize this." She glanced back and saw as Kurama took his place beside them.

"Well i wouldve been up here with you guys sooner,had it not been for them." He said Motioning toward Yusuke,and,Kuwabara. Monique smirked and looked back to the temple. "Yes.Yusuke was never one for work,,,So who owns this temple,may i ask." She heard complete silence at first then she nodded,looking around. "This is Our place, it was awarded us soon after the Dark Tournament.(yes i forgot to mention, this takes place after the dark tournament) Yusuke and all of us are still together,under orders by Koenma,see We are spirit Detectives after all."

She heard Hiei Hn,and,Smiled as she reached down and picked up her bag that lay at her feet. "Well you must be happy,now shall we go into the Temple." Kurama nodded as he slowly pushed open the door,She walked inside,Her eyes scanning along the Beautifully decorated house, Bamboon type furniture with cushiony cushions lined the Living room, Plants lined the 4 corners, a Long hallway led down to a row of 5 doors. "Nice,Very Nice,I think ill like it here,So When does my training and all begin." She asked as she started to slwoly walk around the living room. "In the Morning,its late and you must be tired,do to Jet Lag." She heard a Fammilar voice behind her. She turned around to see her brother, standing next to him,was Kuwabara. "Yes,Your brother is right,what do you say Hiei." Hiei never moved from the Window cill, his eyes remained aimed toward the ground. "Hn! Depends on the Girl." There eyes all turned onto her and waited for her reply.

Kuwabara was the only one that dared question Hiei. " So,why do you get a say in this Shrimpy." Hiei shot Him death glares as he stood up from his seat. "Well Because ill be Training her mostly,so, and im not tired at all."

Kuwabara began to grumble as he walked over and into the Kitchen. Yusuke walked over to his sister,placing a hand to her shoulder. "Well Sis,you up to Training some today.Or Do you want to wait."

She turned her eyes over to Hiei and smiled,then to Kurama. "Not to say that i dont want you to train me Hiei,but,is any of the others going to train me." He shot his cold gaze up toward her and Scoweled. "Of course, even i wouldnt want to keep such an event from Yusuke to have a hand in this,and,Kurama." She turned a mixed emotion face over to Kuwabara. "And Him." She said jerkin her thumb toward Him. Hiei couldnt help but snicker. "That Kuwabaka,Psst, he cant even train himself to comb his hair, hed be no good." She couldnt help but to crack up into a fit of laughter.

Noone saw it but Hiei, for the first time smiled,as he watched Monique, the curve of her lips as she laughed,how her hair bounced carelessly around her face. He slowly lowered his hand as he stood up,and, tossed her a key. "Comeon, ill show you to the one room thats yours." He said as he passed her by, motioning once with his finger. She looked to the others and slowly followed Hiei toward the back of the long hallway.

He slowly pushed open a sliding door , and, placed his hand to the small of her back, this sent electricity through her Body. She slowly let out a gasp as he walked past her,placing the rest of her baggage to her bed. "So,this is your room." He said with a quick glance her direction. She watched him start to leave and she opened her mouth. "Thanks Hiei,,,,and,the room is awesome." He never turned his body toward her. "Welcome, this room is near by mine,, mine isnt far away from here, so if you need anything,,,you know where i am." He said as he walked from the room,slidding the door closed.
