Chapter 10: Demon Within

Yusuke couldnt help but lock eyes onto Monique,and,Hiei. "Uhhuhm, is it possible,for you two,to stop." He was locking eyes on the back of the Fire Youkias, when Kurama walked up and gently tapped Hiei on the back. " Uhhuhm,We do however got to finish up her mental training now Hiei." The Koorime stepped back,and, gently pushed his fingers through her hair, a smirk crawling across his lips. "Yes,but,Who is going to train her for her mental ability,since....." He stopped there, the thought of Genkais death was fresh on all there minds. Yusuke held up a hand, as he turned his gaze to his sister. "I can do that much..I mean,Genkai was my Teacher." He felt his sisters eyes lock onto him.

"Genkai,Whos that?" She moved her eyes over each of the boys, slowly trying to read the twisted expressions that was plain on there faces. Hiei was the first one to speak since, then. "She was Yusukes sensei,but,more then that,she was one of the greatest Fighters alive today.she was ,,,,,,,,," He moved his eyes to the left,avoiding her warm stare,he, nor the others ,hardly ever talked about it. She sweeped a hand through her hair and smiled,taking a step back,She realized that she had hit a nerve by mentioning Genkais name. She walked to a small clearing and sank down,placing her back to the tree. She started absorbing all that she had just learned of her past,she was a Youkai,a Fire one to be exact. Youko,Her,and Hiei were all partners, that seemed right to her. Ever since she first arrived there, she had felt the connection between the three of them.

Yusuke nodded toward his sister and looked at the others. "Seems my sis is a Fire Youkai then,but, what about her Human side,is she half or what?" Hiei shook his head in disagreement,his red orbs burning into Moniques back,then slowly turned back to the spirit detective. " No,She's Full,and,as for the one that killed her, that was Karasu,the bastard,doesnt know she is back,but if he was to ever find out,he would come after her again." Kurama smiled,nodding gently. "Yes, The orb that she carried that day, she absorbed into her very being. The day she died,she was taken across to the Human world,but,the orb is apart of her now,she will carry it till she frees her true self." The eyes of Yusuke slowly seemed to be taking this all in,turning his gaze toward the others and then to his sister. "So,she is truly,a sitting target then."

Kazuki Sat now with her legs tucked underneath her, her arms rested on her knees, the wind gently brushing through her hair, lifting it to fly,caressingly around her face, her brother sat not to far from her,in front of her,with his shirt long since removed,and,his eyes closed. He was taking her through the art of Meditation,the form of relaxing the soul,before they had began he told her to free her mind off all destractions,clear out any and all thoughts. To become with nature ,and, to let go of what she knew. become one with the demon inside of her,to get in contact with her true self. That was a lil harder then it sounded, she sat still in the state of utter silence and felt the emotions swelling through out her whole body. the very idea of evil was nipping at the back of her mind, she could begin to fell the taste of blood on her tongue,the smell of death and fire,the need to kill. she could hear the cries of fallen prey at her feet. she could almost see the cold,and,scared eyes of the innocent. she felt her blood began to boil.he whole body began to shake uncontrollably as she was thrown back into her old life. snapping open,her eyes were blood red,and,she was no longer Monique,but,Kazuki.

The sky seemed to turn a dark,eerie glow as she felt her heart pounding away in her mind,her eyes settling on Yusuke, in front of her. the others were there in no time,unsure of how she would react. She stood slowly from her spot and slowly began to lift her hand in front of her face,they were affixed with sharp razor claws. Her mind could feel and sence her old partners before her,shed even seen there human sides,so she reckonized them,but she didnt reckonize this black haired boy. Her growls rolled past her lips slowly,and,fast. She couldnt remember having a 3rd mate nor a 3rd partner. She reached out and grabbed ahold of Yusuke's neck,and,picked him up off the ground,her nails digging into his throat. She saw as she slowly began to lift him to, kick off the ground. Her mind slowly began to take in what she knew now and what she knew then. As if she was now mixing her old self with the new,she sat Yusuke to the ground,and,felt as she sank to her knees.
